In this solo presentation, Dr. David Koivuranta (Dr. Dave) shifts from his chiropractic practice to discuss corporate health and wellness on behalf of Time Health Management. He uses an ice‑cream‑sample analogy to criticize companies that only offer occasional, low‑frequency wellness “samples” rather than fully integrating health initiatives into daily work life. Dr. Dave proposes a comprehensive biomechanical and chemical approach that addresses workplace stress, ergonomics, nutrition, and environmental toxins. He argues that when such a program is implemented consistently, companies can see measurable improvements in employee productivity, morale, and overall health within six to twelve months, leading to tangible business benefits. The talk concludes with a call to action, inviting business owners or employees to contact Time Health Management for a free consultation and environmental assessment to adopt this integrated wellness strategy.

Hey everyone, it's Dr. Dave. Hopefully you're doing well. You're out there creating those great experiences. One of the places we want to have the best experience is at our career, at the work we do. Some of us work for companies and corporations, some of us work for ourselves, but regardless of that, we want to take care of ourselves and we'd like it if the people around us were aware of taking care of ourselves as well, or they were helping to take care of us. So I'm going to switch hats for a moment from the chiropractic work we do in the clinic to the corporate health and wellness work we do at Time Health Management. And you know, today's a Saturday and this thought came to my mind because sometimes you gotta treat yourself, so I'm enjoying some Häagen-Dazs and it reminded me of when you go to some of the ice cream shops and you can ask for a sample. And you go in and you have a sample and sample and what if when you were a kid, your parents took you to the ice cream shop and they let you have a sample and then a week later you come back, you have some samples again and then a week later You have another sample, but they never let you get a cone or a sundae to have the full experience. You just get the samples all the time. I think after a while I'd be like, "I don't even want the samples because I don't get the real thing. It's not any fun." In the corporations that we go to and some of the companies we work with and some of the research we're looking at, we're finding that only a small percentage of the companies have actually made health and wellness a a thread in the fabric of what they do. And a lot of them are sampling, but they're not buying. They're not integrating it fully. It's not something that a company is getting in front of their employees on a daily or even weekly basis. Sometimes it's on a monthly or quarterly basis. They may implement some programs and institute some options. They may monitor things, and now there's a lot of fancy apps, but I don't think it's at the frequency and it doesn't have the penetration that it needs to have. At Time Health Management, we really believe in a biomechanical, chemical kind of approach to the balance in the corporate world where we're dealing with stress, we're helping with the physical interaction with the job depending on what they need to do, whether it's computers or assembly lines, and they're also focused on supporting the health in the body through the chemistry with food and focused on perhaps weight and other aspects of nutrition and removing toxins especially not, not just from food but also from the environment. And when we have this full-time kind of focus on human capital, we know that in 6 to 12 months that workplace will not only see an improvement in productivity, they won't only see an improvement in morale, but they'll actually have employees who are getting healthier in their day-to-day lives for themselves as people. Even when they're away from work, they'll be healthier, and it's because that workplace is helping them make them that way. And I believe that a company can really do that in 6 to 6 to 12 months and have some concrete tangible returns on the level of health of all their employees across the board. But it comes down to frequency and implementation. So, you know, we got to stop sampling. Sometimes we got to buy it and treat ourselves and then keep that as part of our routine on a regular basis so that it can have an impact. You know, if you're the owner of a company or you're an employee and you want to make a grassroots movement and you figure there's someone that we should talk to at Time Health Management about this kind of strategy to bring health and wellness to the forefront of your company so that you can deliver your products and services at a level that's unprecedented, to see increased growth with the company and improve the brand, then we'd love to talk to you. Reach out to us at our website, send me an email, give me a call. I'd be happy to do a free consultation. We'll do a free environmental assessment to see whether or not this biomechanical chemical approach is something that would benefit your company. And create a better experience for all your employees and a better bottom line for your company. So I'd love to hear from you, and I look forward to helping out.
