Dr. Diane Mueller explains how gut bacteria remove mold toxins and heavy metals. Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium help, but probiotics alone won't stick without prebiotics like inulin and dietary changes. BPC-157, a peptide that heals the gut lining, can improve digestion and support detox.

Hey, everybody. Dr. Diane Mueller here. And in this video, we're going to talk about mold and toxic metals and the gut and the impact of gut problems on removing things like mold toxins, as well as toxic metals from our body. So certain normal flora, certain good bacteria in the gut, such as Lactobacillus, has been shown to really help with detoxing metals. In addition, things like Lactobacillus, Rhamnosus or Bifidobacterium have been shown to help detox and break down mold toxins. So these are normal bacteria that are found in the gastrointestinal tract. But in many people, the normal flora is out of balance. What can happen when the normal floor is out of balance is we lose our natural ability of our gut to detox. We also lose some a huge part of the immune system in our gut. So if you are suspecting that you have mold in your body or you have have toxic metals in your body, or you have a test, it's really important to make sure your gut's healthy. Your gut is going to be a huge portion of clearing these things, but it's also going to be a huge portion of preventing these things from happening and this buildup from happening again. So you can definitely do some tests to test the normal flora. The tests are improving out there, but really, in the grand scheme of things, you want to make sure you're eating foods that feed the normal flora. So we've seen studies that basically have shown that it's very difficult to totally fix the good bacteria population of the gut just by giving a probiotic, like, they can help. But the problem is, and what we see in studies, if we give a probiotic and we test the microbiome before the probiotic, we give the probiotic, we pull the probiotic, and we retest the microbiome, what winds up happening is we actually see that the microbiome at the end looks just like the beginning. So by causing it doesn't really cause the probiotics don't really cause a permanent change in the gut microbiome. But what does are prebiotics. Prebiotics are things like fructooligosacular, saccharides, inulin, all these types of sugars and starches, these things that will actually provide food for the probiotics to help them feed and proliferate. And studies on prebiotics, we see more permanent changes. We want to be careful about using prebiotics if we have a lot of gas or bloating, because sometimes that can make those symptoms a lot worse. And we want to do other investigative work to figure out what is the cause of those symptoms, of course. But the point of this is really to help to tie together toxins and the gut and to really help show that what is happening in the gastrointestinal tract and our good microorganisms there will directly impact our body's ability to detox. We got to get that probiotic level really at a good, you know, good point. We can also use peptides. BPC 157 is a peptide. A peptide is a protein chain and BPC157, it's really been shown to heal the gut and I've seen amazing results with it for even clearing up other non GI symptoms such as arthritis or such as skin eruptions, rashes, these sorts of things. So by giving that, we can help repair the gut, which is also going to be connected to better detox from mycotoxins and better detox from metals. So that's it in this video.
