Suffering from Numbness and Tingling?

Dr. Diane Mueller explains how Lyme disease and other tick-borne infections cause numbness and tingling. Over a third of Lyme patients have significant nerve dysfunction, but standard tests miss about half of cases. Multiple Borrelia species and viruses like EBV and CMV produce similar symptoms, so comprehensive testing matters.

Hey, everybody. Dr. Diane here continuing on with our topic of the month, which is numbness and tingling and what the heck, right? So again, we're doing this all month. So if you have not been catching up the earlier videos, make sure you go back and watch some where we're talking about missing lab tests, more on root causes. In this particular video, we're talking a little bit about Lyme disease and the mechanism through which Lyme disease can cause things like numbness and tingling. We actually see studies that show just over a third of people with Lyme disease tend to have pretty major nerve dysfunction. Numbness and tingling oftentimes involves neurological dysfunction. Right? The nerves are not conducting. Right. The nerves are not sending signals. Right? This leads to sensations such as numbness and tingling. So the biggest thing to understand is that with Lyme disease, the common tasks that are running in, you know, by conventional doctors that don't understand Lyme are not very accurate. The first, most common test has close to a 50% chance of a false negative. The other thing is that Lyme disease can actually be caused by many different types of Borrelia, the bacteria. Lyme disease is technically a bacteria infection, and essentially it's most commonly and classically caused by a bacteria called Borrelia borgdorferi. That's classically Lyme disease. But there's a lot of different species of Borrelia. There's Borrelia abzelli, Borrelia miyamoti. We can go on and on and on with these different types of Borrelia that essentially are not quite Lyme disease, but they basically cause all the same symptoms, some of which are neurological dysfunction. So you want to make sure. The point here is you want to make sure you're getting a test that's thorough that's really going to look for all of these different types of Borrelia. To determine if there is truly one of these types of infections, I recommend a panel called the tick borne 2.0. That's going to look for Lyme. It's also going to look for all these other species of Borrelia, plus a lot of these other infections that we've been talking about throughout this month. Our herpes, our cmv, our ebv, our parvovirus, on and on and on and on. And this test is going to look for all of those. So it's not just about Lyme. It's about these hidden stealth infections that are essentially causing this nerve dysfunction. So that's what I have to say for this video. So make sure you get proper testing, you guys, it's really important and so many times I see people that are suffering and they struggling and they think they've ruled out this, these types of scenarios but they don't have the proper test. So I'm going to link down to my testing site where you can get these tests direct to consumer and essentially with that just make sure that you get the tick borne 2.0. If you want the most thorough tests for these stealth borne pathogens that tend to cause for many people, nerve dysfunction, numbness and tingling. Also, please sign up and show up for my masterclass. It's free. You can ask your questions. We're talking about numbness and tingling this month in March and then we are moving on in April to a different topic that I will be announcing. Well actually I'll tell you what it is now in April we're talking about illness and emotional trauma. So even if you missed the one in March, you can show up in April. All right everybody, please do subscribe. It helps me find other people. It also helps you get alerts when when I do put out new content. And please do comment and let me know how I can help you. I love hearing your comments. Helps me help you. See you in another video.
