Dr. Diane Mueller explains nervous system buzzing as hyperreactivity caused by inflammation that lowers your nerve sensitivity threshold. She recommends ruling out serious neurological disease first, then addressing root causes through labs and treatments, plus reprogramming via meditation, visualization, or in some cases supervised low-dose ketamine.

Okay, everybody, in this video, we're talking about buzzing in your neurological system. I'm Dr. Diane Mueller, chronic illness expert. I get asked all the time this question about nervous system trembling or inner trembling or this buzzing sense, this vibratory sense, is a very common thing that I hear people talk about. This whole month we're talking about numbness, tinging, strained neurological system symptoms. So make sure you subscribe to this channel to get updates on all the videos we're putting out this month on this particular topic. Now, what is this buzzing? What essentially can happen now? Always, you know, talk to your neuro, neurologist. Rule out those big, big, bad, scary things. But what essentially is happening with this buzzing is it's a change in something around the neurological input. So what's supposed to happen in health with nerves is we get input from our surroundings, from our lights, from the sound, from touch, et cetera. We get all this input, right? And all this input we feeds into our neurological system, and it has to reach a certain capacity for us to respond. This is why as I'm making this video, I could be hearing a traffic thing going on outside. I could hear some honking, or I could hear some dogs barking. You know, maybe I'm hearing the neighbor, like, chase the kid down the street, whatever. I can hear noises like that while I'm making this video. And my attention is able to stay focused here because of how the neurological system works, because of this input that is coming in. And the nervous system filters it out and says, that is not enough for me to generate my nerves, for my nerves to send a response to the body that says, do something about it. I can ignore it, can hear that input without nervous system really responding to it. When our nerves are inflamed, all of the ways that we get and we process this nervous system input is largely changed. So all of a sudden, that dog barking can, like, send our nervous system out of balance. That truck going by and that honk can make us jump, right? So we have all of this nervous system input that in health, the nervous system's able to say, we're not going to process that. We hear it, we're not going to even pay attention. We're not going to respond. But when your nerves are inflamed, that threshold changes. And that nervous system stimuli that is supposed to send like, basically almost no response in the nervous system, just like, you know, a level one response that says, hey, that's there, that don't, don't worry about it, instead sends a much bigger response. This is why there's jumpiness oftentimes. This is why you can be easily startled. This is also why you can have noise and light sensitivity. And this is also why you can have that buzzing and that trembling. It's that nervous system hyper reactivity to all that information coming in. So the solution is really two part. The solution is we got to get to the root. So we talked about the roots throughout this particular month. Go back and listen to some of those videos I've launched over the past few weeks that those videos are going to go into some of the root causes. So if you haven't listened to those, definitely go check those out. Make sure you get, you look at those lab tests that we talk about as well. But the other thing that I haven't mentioned yet this month is reprogramming the nervous system. Because yes, we want to get these root causes taken care of. Absolutely. But sometimes when the nerves have been like going on this new trajectory for long enough, sometimes it's like they get stuck in that pattern. Right. We get stuck in this reactive pattern. So we have to unwind that. We do that through meditation, we do that through visualization. This is how we unwind things. This is how we allow our nervous system to reset. I in my. One of the things I offer my clients is a course that I created. It's a 30 day hack your mind challenge. And it's just basically a five minutes every day where we do something that is designed to support the nervous system. I'm also seeing very good results in a lot of my patients with low dose ketamine. And so low dose ketamine is very low doses, right? Very low doses of ketamine. That is really designed to create neuroplasticity. So that's another thing to consider. Obviously you need to work with your doctor on that. But that the point of this is we want to get to the root cause. We also have to get the nervous system to reprogram. And that's your meditation, visualization, mindfulness. And you know, perhaps for some people, if you're working with somebody that'll do it, some low dose ketamine. All right, everybody, make sure you sign up for my masterclass. I offer masterclasses every month. This month of March, if you're watching this in time, we are talking numbness and tingling. But in April, we're talking about emotions and emotional trauma that goes with disease. Because when we have chronic illness for a long time, it's a, you know, it's a traumatic scenario. We can get PTSD and those types of things. So that's what we're talking about in April. So lots of good stuff coming up right now. My master classes are free, so make sure you sign up for them in the show notes and. And I will see you in another video.
