Hi, this is Dr. Jameca Cooper, and today I want to talk about 90 Day Fiancé Happily Ever After. And on the latest episode that I saw, which is season 6, aired on August 1st, wow, all I can say is Asuelu kicked his own mother and sister out of his house for physically, like move them out of the house. And I was like, whoa. So on the one hand, that's your mother. On the other hand, your sister was a little bit out of pocket, and she probably should have been put out at least 30 minutes before you put her out. Um, but that is a really powerful episode. It really talks and speaks to the disrespect that can sometimes happen in family dynamics. It can sometimes speak to what happens with in-laws and wives or husbands when the in-laws or the family of origin doesn't always accept that person and their views and their values. But you know what I always do, I always want to analyze and get down to the bottom of what might be some mental disorders that are present with these characters. So we could easily focus on Asuelu's mother and his sister and think about what type of mental disorders they may be suffering from. Look at the symptoms. Look at some of the behaviors. Lots of entitlement, lots of rude and bad behavior. What does that usually come back to? It usually comes back around to some type of personality disorder, but it's also hard to tease out some of their cultural values. I'm not familiar with values that may be normal and appropriate for Samoan culture, so that could be an issue as well. But I really wanna ask you, What do you think are the issues? What are the mental disorders with these characters? It was a great episode. Interested in knowing your thoughts. Make sure you subscribe. It's Dr. Jameca Cooper.
