Hi, my name is Anika and I am the surgery scheduling coordinator here at Trucare Cosmetic Surgery center in Chino Hills. If you're watching this video, you must have a surgery scheduled with us. And I'm going to go over a few instructions for you to prepare for your upcoming surgery. So one of the main tips to prepare yourself for surgery, you cannot smoke, starting four weeks before surgery, starting two weeks before. Before, you cannot have any blood thinners, so no aspirin containing products, no fish oil, no vitamin E, or, you know, items like that. I will be giving you a list during your pre op appointment where you can look back. So to prepare yourself for surgery, you need to make sure you're well hydrated a few weeks before surgery. So make sure you drink lots of water beforehand. The night before surgery. You cannot have anything to eat or drink after midnight. Okay? So no mints, gums, candies, nothing in your mouth at all. When you come in for surgery the next day, you have to wear loose and comfortable clothing. So we do prefer a dress that has a zip up, something easy to put on, and like I said, nothing tight. So when you come in, make sure you don't wear anything. No lotions, deodorants, perfume. Make sure you bring your prescriptions with you when you come in for surgery. Only the pill form, so your pain medication, your muscle relaxer, and also your antibiotics by you bringing them in with you. We will go through all of the prescriptions with your family members before you go home so they know exactly when to give it to you and how to give you your prescription that you arrive on time for surgery and we look forward to seeing you.
