Short YouTube interview (Nov 1, 2018) featuring Dr. Babak Farzaneh (True Care Surgery/Truecare Cosmetic Surgery) discussing personalized patient care: he prioritizes finding reasons not to operate, recommends preventative minimally invasive treatments (e.g., radiofrequency Botox) when appropriate, and is candid when surgery is the only option. The practice emphasizes accessibility (Dr. Farzani gives his cell number, performs house calls) and uses advanced endoscopic techniques with high magnification to minimize incisions.

True Care Surgery center is an amazing place. This is a unique place in the. In the sense that we take care of our patients as if they're our own family. I specifically make a point to get to know every patient, even their family, to be able to give them the best care. Every patient is different. Every surgery is different. When I walk in that room, my first goal is to find out a reason not to operate on you, not to perform surgery. I've known her since she was a kid. She was really young. And you wanted to have this procedure done, and I told you absolutely not at that time. And now the reason I have a change of heart is because you have the maturity to be able to make this decision.
I've asked for years and years, and then the last time I was here he goes, you're ready. Yes, it's happening.
A lot of patients look at some of the celebrities and say, wow, how can she look that good at 50 or 55? Well, a lot of these are preventative if you start certain procedures right. Radiofrequency Botox at a younger age. Even though there's a stigma of you're too young, why would you be doing that? Well, you're planning for the future, and you might be able to avoid the surgical procedure for a long time. Even though I'm a surgeon, my ultimate goal is to have a happy patient, whether it's through surgery or other means or no surgery. If the skin or if the bands in the neck are completely obvious, then no laser is going to help that, and no amount of filler or Botox is going to help those issues. So sometimes surgery is the only option, and I'm quite honest about that.
We are accessible 24 hours a day. Our physician, Dr. Farzani, gives out a cell phone number. I mean, who does that nowadays? He actually does house calls. So most of our surgical patients, he goes to their house and assesses them and makes sure that everything is going smoothly. You know, the staff, he has everything so high tech, and it's really nice, nice facility.
We use endoscopic approach, where we use a telescope to be able to do the procedure through small incisions. We still do every step of the surgery, and we actually do it under 10 times the magnification, but we just do it through smaller incisions. The best time to get it right is the first time.
This is my third time coming back to him, different procedures, but again, I wouldn't hesitate to come back or refer any of my friends. He's awesome. Dr. Farzani has always made me feel so comfortable and secure in everything I do. I trust him with my life, so I'm just ready to do this.
