Hello, this is Dr. Kham. Well, five ways to overcome the pain of the past. Number one. Rewrite the meaning of your past. Know that the past has no meaning except the meaning you give it to it. Past that you are thinking about is just in your mind now. It doesn't have any other meaning. 2. Know that there is always a reason for whatever that happened in your life. There is always a reason. Such faith helps you accept things and move forward in life. Then you will discover the reasons for your past mishaps in a way that makes sense to you. You will never find answers if you keep thinking about your past. Number three. Divert your attention. When the pain of the past comes to you, try to think about something positive. Distract yourself. Divert yourself. Maybe talk to your friend, maybe watch a movie. Do not linger on that past pain. Because the longer you linger, the more the pain will be and the faster you let it go, it will lose its grip on you. Number four. Learn from your mistakes and just move on. Lot of people just criticize themselves. There is self blame often. Don't do that. Learn. Move on. Self evaluate. Move on. Mistakes happen in everyone's life. Number five. Replace the bad memories with the good ones. Keep doing good things. Help other people, read good books, think good thoughts. And soon you will forget the past, the bad things of your past, and come out of that abyss, that bad stuff in your life. Thanks for watching.
