Dr Calm Talk with NRI Institute of Technology Agiripalli about Stress Minimum Performance Maximum

Dr. Kiran Dintiala teaches stress management and focus to NRI Institute of Technology students. He outlines a time-management framework: calm mind, clear goals, calendar tracking, accountability. The three pillars of success are hard work, determination, and visualization. A guided relaxation exercise uses deep breathing and the "spiritual eye" technique, practiced twice daily for 10 minutes.

Hello,
we are. We are live sir.
Already.
We are live sir. Already.
Hello sir, how are you?
Nice to be here.
So happy to see you.
Oh thank you so much. I appreciate for.
I think there are a couple of people here. So let me introduce them to you sir. And let me introduce ESR K Sr. To you also. So here ESRK Prasad sir had such a profound influence on me growing up. Because I still remember when I was just done with my 10th class and thinking about, you know, should I take BiPC MPC and all this questions. My father took me to him and then, you know, we had a long conversation and whatever he said at that point of time that was very, very useful. And for the next two years, the teaching, the discipline, the punctuality, all the good that we need to learn in life, I learned from.
Yes sir.
K Sir. And sir, I want to introduce here two of my friends also here. One is Nageswarao. Nageswarao is my childhood friend.
Good.
Good evening sir.
Good evening.
Oh really?
Yes. So. And he has been so helpful in my endeavors. What I'm trying to do. He's wondering one of the key people trying to spread the message because he believes in me and I'm very indebted to him. And then this lady there, Srinija that you are seeing.
Good evening sir.
Good evening. Kali, I don't know you but
she
is also pivotal in carrying on many of these activities about staying calm is my mission and helping people. Because if I knew that 20, 30 years ago probably I would doing even thousand times better. So what can we do to bring this to people? What I have discovered, what I have found and she has been instrumental in helping with most of the digital marketing and the ideology behind various designs and all these things that we see. So I'm very much thankful to her too. And then are there any other people? Dr. Venkatra Garuno, principal Garu.
One second exit.
Yeah, because I want to take a moment to thank them for inviting me and all that.
So I just want exactly. He joined initially and now I don't see him once. Karthike, there are many people apart from Usher by those names are maybe from the college but principal name and chairman name convertley.
Okay, but regardless I'm going to thank them whether I'm sure they are here. Whether it is a zoom call or the YouTube Live, we are doing both of these things. So.
Let's wait for them to join. So because it's there they need to introduce us. So meanwhile you can say about your mission and these all things so that there are 158 students who are watching us on Live. So at least they'll get to know what is happening. Why are you here? At least few important points initially.
That sounds good. Yeah. Good evening everyone. All the students, faculty, friends, administrators, everyone who joined today who is live on Zoom today. I am very much thrilled to be able to connect with my people in India who are struggling right now. The primary reason for me doing what I am doing now is approximately four weeks ago, I received a call from my mother from India saying that, hey, this guy is saying, So we don't know what to do. Then I was able to talk to her, explain her and clear all her doubts. And I do that every day, every day or every other day and clear all these confusion that is there in people's minds. And then I realized there is so much misinformation. There are so many myths about COVID and and that is causing so much fear. Not just the disease itself, but the myths and the misinformation is causing so much problem in the society right now. Yes, I could talk to my mother every day and clear her doubt, but what about the rest of the people? And especially when the medical system is overwhelmed right now, doctors who have no time, and then if you want to go to hospitals, there are no beds. So there are so many problems like that. So what about the common man? And so I said, you know, I'm going to start something to help people in, at least in my circle of implants, even if it is 10 people, that's fine. I'm going to start there. So, and then I started three and a half, four weeks ago, these live Zoom calls that I have been doing every day in the morning. For me, morning it is 6:00am in the morning, and for you guys, it is 6:30pm in the evening. And I found that people are loving it. They want to know the information, what is right information. And I'm very, very happy about it. And I want to do more and more. And what happens is 10 people became hundred, 100 people became thousand. Now I think we are with the NRI college where I think there are at least 2,500 to 3,000 students, I believe. And this is exactly what I want. I want all of us to learn the right things about COVID and inform people, educate them so that we can stay safe, we can stay calm, we can help ourselves, we can help people around us, and we can build a good society. That is what is needed. No one else is going to do for you. You have to do it for yourself. And I'm here to help you do that.
Okay?
The other thing is the stress levels. It is just not the COVID fears about the medications or the misinformation. But the stress levels are so high. It's so difficult. So many problems attacking us at the same time. Never before in the history we had so many problems attacking us at the same time in our life. How do you handle it? How do you develop the mental strength? How can you stay calm? How can you stay focused and finish what you got to do in the midst of all this chaos? Especially as students, all of you. It's so difficult for you. There is so much uncertainty. How do you overcome that? That is what we are going to talk about today. Okay? In simple words, my mission is to fight misinformation and spread positivity. To help people find calm and relieve them from the stress that they are facing and build a good society. You know, do our part. Let us all do our part. So let's see if we have any of our
faculty, anyone else that we need to have here.
Yeah, doctor.
He just joined, sir. I was trying to reach Ravan Garu but his number is not reachable. Luckily the he principal joined. Is yet to enable his audio.

Yes. Yeah.
Hi everyone and good Evening. This is Dr. T. Nagabaskar Principal NRI Institute of Technology Agrippalli which is located 25 km away from Vijaywada Krishna district. Honorable Chairman Dr. R. Venkatra Garu and resource person for today's program Dr. D. Karangaru, all head of the department, faculty members and student friends. I welcome you all for today's webinar on stress minimum and performance maximum. Next coming to this webinar insights. As you all know, research indicates that academic related stress can reduce academic achievement. It is a known fact that too particularly during this second wave of COVID 19 pandemic we are facing very peculiar situations which we never come across earlier or even expected. Every family or individual disturbed mentally as well as financially. Many people have lost their near and dear due to this COVID 19. In addition to this we are hearing news about third wave also. But during this disturbing time,
how to
concentrate on academics is a very big challenging issue for the students. So in this session we focused to enhance students learning capacity and academic performance by addressing various mental health factors such as depression and anxiety, lack of focus, sleep disturbances etc. Today we are having Dr. Kiran Garu with us who is a very experienced personality in stress management. Basically Dr. Kiran Garu also belongs to our Vijayawada only. So once again we welcome to him to Vijayawada virtually. I am confident that this webinar throw light on many other useful issues for the students before to conclude. Once again I thank Dr. Kiran Garu for sparing his valuable time and joining with us this evening. Thank you very much sir. With this I hand over the session to Mr. Sravan for introducing the today's speaker Dr. Kiran Garu to the audience. Thank you one and all.
Good evening everyone. Myself Shravanshay Kumar k astride triple department. I feel obliged and honored to introduce Dr. Kiran Dintiala sir who is a board certified internal medicine physician practicing in San Diego, California. He holds a Master's in Public Health and an MD in Internal Medicine as well. He's also a diplomat of the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine. Particularly speaking, an author, speaker and a stress management expert. Dr. Dintiala is the founder of Stress Free Revolution. His mission is to alleviate the suffering and improve the emotional well being of the people across the world and to raise the global happiness index. Born and raised in an Indian middle class household, he is witnessed to the constant ups and downs of life and how hard his parents had to work to make ends meet. Month after month and year after year the feelings of Compassion found their way to his young heart when he was barely nine years old. During his encounter with a beggar asking for alms with only a few pennies in his pocket, he had to decide whether to help the beggar or buy a candy for himself. His decision turned out to be helping the beggar and it gave him a greater sense of fulfillment and buying things for himself. Okay, that was the important experience. And he recalls that guided his outlook towards life to be compassionate and helpful towards fellow human beings. Although many discouraged him, he trudged the path of medicine, graduating from Andhra Medical College, a prestigious institution of India or in India, after which he decides to pursue higher studies in United States of America. Entering West Virginia University to earn a Master's degree in public health while preparing for medical exams, hoping to become a doctor in United States. Right? This was a time of constant struggle. Many hardships ranging from the financial troubles, unexpected death of loved ones, career crisis, health and relationship problems, and much more. With so much to accomplish and so much chaos, Dr. Vintyala sir couldn't see a way out of the problems. Anxious and fearful, enveloped by negative thoughts, he was in total despair. This ensured for many weeks, months, pushing him to the edges of failure. Feeling desperate, he searched restlessly for solutions everywhere. During that time of search, he accidentally stumbled upon powerful principles and techniques that helped him find calm in the midst of all his chaos. That newfound calmness has changed his life forever. What happened next was something that no one expected. Over the next three months, a series of miracles took him from one place to another, one opportunity to another, and finally delivering him victory in life. That's well deserved and he worked hard for it. His problems dissolved, all the anxieties and worries vanished. He was ecstatic. His friends and family were happy, but no one could believe he made it. Under normal circumstances, this achievement is not possible until at least another one or two years that that too. With a lot of time and energy and money to be spent, which he didn't have at that time. So he came out victorious. In a do or die situation, the impossible became possible. Many good things followed after his victory. With that profound power of calmness, he set himself off to a new path. To delve deep into the science and art of calmness and further explore the possibilities. His remarks, these principles and techniques that he generally use to find calm in their lives and to help the fight, to help them fight, to help others fight stress and win the battle in the midst of chaos. Work with mathematical accuracy. Actually, it's really fascinating to see this phenomena happening again. And again, even more importantly, it's very rewarding to my soul as well. He has compiled all that he learned in his books and is going to deliver to you at his leisure. It would bring calm and happiness to your life as well. He's very much looking forward to guide you and mentoring you. If you are ready to start your stress feed journey. Okay, that's it. Regarding the introduction regarding Dr. Sir, I hope it would be good enough with the session that Dingelasar is taking now. And the session is yours, sir. Dr. Kiran Dantiala sir, over to you.
Thank you.
Appreciate it.
And before I start the session I want to introduce to you all a very important person. That is ESR Keprasad sir. My teacher. My teacher. When I was growing up, during my intermediate, as soon as I was done with my 10th grade and it just happened that I accidentally stumbled upon two days ago. Actually I spoke with him after 20. 20 years or more. Actually 1997, the time when I spoke with him last. And now it is 23 years I think. So I'm thrilled and I requested him. Sir, can you please join us? And he obliged, made himself available. So thank you very much sir. So he's the best teacher that I know in all these years. So thanks for such a nice instruction. Shravan Garud and Principal Nagabaskar Garud. Thanks so much for chatting with me this morning. So that I could understand the ground reality of what the students and the faculty and everyone else is facing. So I will do my best to address these problems. So let us get started. I'm going to share my screen with you guys. Give me one second. So everyone can see my screen. Right? Okay.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes, sir.
The first question that comes to your mind is how many of you like Bruce Lee? Everyone, how many of you know Bruce Lee? Everyone my generation knows. I hope the younger generation, the ones who are just in 20s. I think even those people know about Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee is one of my favorite personalities all time. And I'll share a small link with you guys actually that you could watch. Give me one second and click this one. There is a reason why I want to share this actually. There you go. We'll watch it for a minute.
I said empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless. Like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash the water.
Sa. So
essentially. One second. There you go. The reason Why I wanted to share that is it's amazing just looking at him, how fast he can move. The two people are playing against him and he's just using those nunchuck sticks and there's so many other things about Bruce Lee is just amazing.
So.
And remember what he said at the beginning. Be like water, my friend. Be like water. Water can crash or water can just be flexible and become whatever it is. And our minds need to be like that. We need to be flexible so that we can ride the waves of challenges in life. We need to be strong so that we can go and achieve whatever that we want. We need to develop that mental strength to face the challenges in life. And if you look back in the history of this world, all the people, all the people who are successful, it is because of their mental strength. I want you to remember that.
Okay, now, one second, I'm going to stop share here because there is some different.
All right, so we are back to our presentation now. Stress, minimum performance maximum developing mental strength to face the challenges of life. Right now, there is so much problem. Way too much stress. Isn't it just way too much? Last night I was speaking with your principal, Sir Nagabaska Garu. And he said, sir, it is just going crazy. Everything, every single person in the institution, the teachers, the students, all of the staff so stressed. There is just way too much uncertainty in life right now. Especially in the lives of the students. They don't know what is going to happen. They don't know if there are going to be exams or not. They are getting distracted, sitting at home because of the home isolation. It's hard for them to focus on the studies. It is not the same as coming home. It's not same as going to the college and having all the friends, the faculty for learning. It's not the same. They have to stay home and stay focused. And it's very hard for them. There is boredom, lack of motivation, distractions like tv. On top of it all, the fear about COVID What is going to happen to me? What is going to happen to my family? And the problem is we all know when the stress levels are high, student performance drops. It's very clear. Research indicates that. So how can we defeat that stress? Not just the student stress, the parents stress, teacher stress. All those things add up and will affect the student. They will get the poor exam scores their career can be in Japan. So how can we handle this stress? That is what is important. And there are three missions that we have today and moving forward starting today, number one, we need to develop the mental strength to face the challenges in life. It is not just about COVID Covid is just one example. Covid actually is giving you an opportunity to develop your mental strength. Think about it this way. Instead of saying, oh my God, there is Covid. What do I do now? All these bad things are happening. Don't sulk in sorrow, okay? Use this suffering, Use this problem as an opportunity to propel yourself forward. As an opportunity to develop your strength, your character. That is mission number one. Mission number two is overcoming Covid related problems. It is by educating yourself about what is Covid and what it is not. What are the treatments available in simple terms, so that you can learn about it. And once you know this information, you will feel like, oh, that's fine, I think I can handle this. You'll get the confidence. And then I want every single one of you, once you learn this, to also teach your family and friends around. That is how we are going to make a positive impact. By spreading the right information and by spreading the positivity. And the third mission that we have is learning the importance of being calm in the midst of this chaos that we are facing. Because a calm mind is essential for us to be happy in life. A calm mind is essential for us to perform well. All right. Look at this Covid and the vortex of negativity that we are facing these days, right? You all are worried, constantly watching at the news channels, the negativity that is coming at you, reading the newspapers and that is happening around you. Colleges are closed. Maybe someone in your family is affected with COVID Maybe you are affected with
COVID
So your health, your family's health is at risk. Then there is financial stress because people are losing money on Covid. They are spending lakhs and lakhs of rupees. Whether when they get hospitalized or for the tests, the CT scans. And also people are losing their jobs. I heard that the colleges, they don't have money or they couldn't give money to the faculty like they used to. Their salaries are cut down. Or people are being laid off. Means they're losing jobs and financial stress. And on top of it, lack of socialization. We human beings are social creatures. And if we cannot socialize, there is a big stress for most of us that is not easy, okay? And that leads to making people feeling lonely, depressed. Did you see how many things are encircling us, enveloping us at the same time? Never before in the history, there were so many problems attacking us at the same time. At the Same time, normally, if you are bored or stressed, you say, okay, let me go to a movie,
let
me just go meet my friends. That is how you would normally do things. And those are stress busters. But all that is shut down. You are stuck at home. You are not only stuck at home, but also you are stuck in your mind constantly thinking about all the negative stuff that is going on. Anxiety, worry, fear. You are pulled into a vortex of negativity. You're constantly incessant thinking about everything. Right? And you need to come out of that vortex of negativity. That is what is needed. And towards that I want to briefly educate you all about COVID in a few lines. Okay, I'm going to explain number one,
remember
right now at this moment, a lot of people have this myth in their mind that Covid means death. That's it, done. I'm going to die. Wrong. But that is not true. That is not true. Yes. Are there some people going to die? Ultimately, yes. But a vast majority, 98 to 99% of people who get Covid, they recover. A vast majority. Okay, if you break down the numbers, 81% of people get only mild illness with COVID All right, 81% people just only get mild illness means, yeah, they get a little fever, maybe loss of smell. The recover and it is done. That's it. Another 10 to 15 patient people get what is called as moderate illness. Yeah, they have more fevers, more cough, maybe some difficulty breathing. Their oxygen levels are dropping below 95%, but that's it. They get better. All they need is simple treatment at home with low dose steroids. That is what we call low dose steroids. For example, dexamethasone, 6 milligrams daily for 10 days. That is low dose steroid. And that's it. They get better in a couple of weeks and it's done. There is 5% of people who tend to go to severe illness where their oxygen levels are below 90% and they need to get admitted in the hospital. And even most of them, they recover. They recover. Okay, ultimately there is one person, maybe 2% of people who get critically ill in ICU ventilated. So even those people, half of them get better. But if you look, you see the reason why I'm saying all these statistics is I want you to know Covid is not equivalent to death. 98%, 99% people, they recover. They recover even though they may go through some trouble. Okay? So let's put your fear aside about COVID because your fear is going to reduce your immunity it is going to degrade your immunity, and you don't want that because immunity is your best defense right now against Covid. All right, so make sure.
One second.
Yeah, that is important. And make sure that you share this information with your friends and family. This is what the doctor said. So don't worry too much. Let's see what can we do about it? All right? And there are many other minute details about the COVID treatment. And I will share some resources for you so that you can read and learn about it. All right? There is another thing that is very important in the midst of all this chaos because of COVID That is developing the mental strength to overcome the challenges that you are facing. It is time to awaken your inner potentials. At this time, you need to tap into your inner powers. We all have that strength within us. Whether you use it or not is up to you. I can tell you by experience time and again, after facing many problems, each time the problem looks much bigger than you. But if you tap into your inner potentials, your strength within the problem becomes smaller. You become bigger. And you have that capability, whether you are five years old, whether you are 20 years old, whether you are 60 years old, it doesn't matter. We all have that capability, but we
need to prove it.
We need to groom it. We need to develop that capability, make ourselves stronger and stronger. But otherwise, how are you going to face all these challenges? You don't want to be weak. You don't want to be meek. You want to be strong. You want to be strong like an iron man. All right, so how do you develop this mental strength? The first thing that I want to share with you, and I want you to remember these four forces in life, whatever I'm saying now is going to be helpful, not just for corona related stress, but all your life. No matter what problem that you are facing, what we are discussing today is going to be helpful. So there are four forces that pull you out of despair. Despair means lack of hope and matter. That's it. Despair and death. How can you come out of it? I can tell you by my experience and many other people's experience who I have taught these teachings that there is always hope. Remember that no matter what your situation is, it doesn't matter. There is always hope. Okay? There's always hope. Growing up, there were so many times in my own life that I thought, that's it done, that's it done. My life is done. You know, I just. I think I'm a failure. This feeling comes to our mind constantly
in life,
we should not get hopeless at the time. You need to remember this. There is always hope for those people who, who are willing to look ahead. There is always. And without hope, nothing is going to happen. If you lose hope, that's it. Done, you're done. In life, no matter what it is, whether it is an exam, whether it is a financial problem, whether it is Covid or something else, the moment you say that I am hopeless, my situation is hopeless, that's it. But the truth is, there is always hope. You may not see the solution for your problem right now because your mind is thinking too negative. You're caught up in all that negativity. But there is always a solution. You just need to come out of that negativity and look at it. Then you will find the solution. Or maybe there is someone else who knows the solution and you need to find that person. There is always hope. Alright? The second thing is second force. Have faith. Faith simply means having confidence that things are going to be alright. Sometimes what happens is in life we lack confidence. For example, situation like Covid last year, when Covid hit us, no one has had any answers, right? So then if we do not know the answers, I mean, we feel like, oh, I don't know what to do. You feel low in confidence. And during that time, whenever there is low confidence, this faith helps. Faith is something like having confidence in something that is beyond you. For some people, it is God, for some people it is religion. For some people, for example, in the situation of COVID it is having faith in the scientific community. That is what I said nine months ago, 10 months ago, when I was doing a seminar. Let us have faith in our scientific community that they are going to develop the vaccines. But the point is, in every situation, if you can have that faith that things are going to be alright, I will figure it out one way or another. That helps you a lot. That helps you a lot. And as you keep moving, what I call a tunnel of despair, it's called a tunnel of despair. As you keep moving forward with hope and faith, you will finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. And in this journey, sometimes the tunnel of despair is so long. Like for example, Covid, it has been going on for almost one and a half year. It is very long. We need to be patient. We just need to be patient about the situation. Be patient, be patient. One day at a time. One day at a time. Right now you're all worried. Your students are worried about, oh my God, what is happening with my exams? What is Going to happen to my career? Am I going to pass the exams? I think I'm wasting my time. So all this uncertainty, this has been going on for a while, right? Be patient. One day at a time. One day at a time. It's okay. It is okay. Six months, for example, in this situation is not going to change your life entirely. You have a span of 60 years, 70 years, 80 years probably when you look at that, two months, three months. Six months is a very small unit. It's a very tiny bit if you compare to 80 years of your lifespan, right? So don't get desperate. Don't get too worked up. Don't go into despair. Use the best of your ability to face the challenge now. Don't waste time. Don't waste time. Time is precious. I heard a lot of you are having difficulty at home. Home isolation and unable to focus and getting distracted, right? You can't do that. You can't get distracted. I'll show you how not to get distracted. But be patient, okay? Be patient. One day at a time. And ultimately the fourth four is endurance. Endurance is developing that strength. Life is not a sprint. Sprint is like you just run 100 meters, 200 meters sprint. Life is not like that. It's the endurance. You need to keep running. You're all in probably your early 20s, you just started running, you need to run for a long time. But for you to run, you need to develop that endurance, that strength.
Okay?
That is what we are talking about, developing that strength. Mental strength to keep moving forward. I want you all to become like an ironman with strong willpower. Stay calm, think rational, make smart decisions. And how do you do that? How do you stay strong? There is something within you that you are born with and you haven't tapped into it yet. And that power is the power of resilience. We all are born resilient. All of us, every single person. It is the indomitable nature of the human spirit. We as human beings are born with resilience. So what is resilience? Resilience is essentially your capacity to face the challenges of life. Your capacity to bounce back from various stressful situations in life, back to again, a peaceful state. That is what is resilience. It is your capacity to adjust to life situations no matter what is happening. Every single person. We are born resilient. And I want to introduce you to another important concept here, okay? It is called innate mental health. So what is this innate mental health? Innate health is your natural state of well being where you are happy, peaceful for no reason. That is how we are all born. We all are born peaceful and joyful. If you look at these little kids, right? Five years old, four year old, they're just naturally happy. No matter what is going on around them. All they need is their physiological needs to be met. That's it. They are in a state of what I call is unconditional happiness. That is how we all are born. Unconditional happiness. And with time, what happens is this little kid initially says, I want the toy. I want the toy to be happy. And then later he says, I want two toys. And then later I want a bike. And as you keep growing, I want that car. No, I want something else. And what we do is we slowly condition our happiness to various things in life. Various things. And then if one of those conditions is not met, we become unhappy. That is called conditional happiness. But we are born happy unconditionally. Kids don't. They don't have to do stress management classes. They don't have to read books to be happy. They don't have to meditate to be happy. They're naturally happy. That means you're born happy. Remember that. You are born happy. You're born happy. You're born peaceful. That is your true nature. Remember that. Every single person here. Now you can reclaim it. Even though with all the COVID and the nonsense that is going on,
you
need to find out. You need to realize that your happiness is still there within you. It is there within you. If you can latch onto it, then none of the circumstances around you can make you unhappy. Because you are not identifying your happiness with external circumstances. When you identify your happiness with external circumstances, that is when you get into trouble. I am not saying not to set goals. I am not saying that you should not study. No, you should study. You should plan for your career. You should set high goals, achieve them. You need to do all those things because life is about learning and growing. But do not identify your happiness with things that are going around you. Especially in a state like this with
COVID
Okay, I can go in much more detail on this topic, but I think we need to move on. So remember, you are born happy and peaceful. And because you are born happy and peaceful, no matter what your situation is, you can. Can bounce back. You can bounce back to that peaceful and joyful state of yours.
Okay?
And resilience is the capacity to bounce back. Now, you know that you already have that mental strength inside, right? You have the capability to be joyful and peaceful, right? You know that already. So what should you do now? I Want you to propel yourself to a bright future today. You need to plan. You need to set goals. Without goals, man wanders around purposeless and gets lost. You need to have a very clear goal. That is what is going to give you the energy, the strength to move forward. If you don't have a goal, you're going to waste lot of your time. And your time is precious. Especially at this moment, in your early 20s, Time is very precious. What you do now today is going to determine how your life is going to be for the rest of the 40 or 50 years more that you're going to live. This is the time to sow the seeds of right determination. Build the character, think big, stay positive, learn to be calm, hard work. If you relax now, if you become lazy, I assure you, life is going to be difficult later. This is the time. This is the time not to relax. Use this time properly. I have seen my classmates in intermediate in medical college. Those people who worked hard, they have done very, very well. And I have seen people who have not worked hard, wasted their time. I don't know what happened to them. You decide today whether you want to be a successful person, a rich person, someone who has gone to great heights in life, or you decide you want to be a failure. It is in your hands. It is totally in your hands. It is not in your professor's hands. It is not in your lecturer's hands. They can help you to some extent. But you got to decide. You got to make a decision today, today, now. Do you want to see yourself as a failure 10 years from now, 20 years from now? Everyone else is doing well and you're struggling day in, day out, every day in your life, being poor, no money, no one respects you, or you want to be highly respected person in the society. Think about it. Think about it. Okay? You need to develop a strong willpower. Strong willpower and determination. I am going to set a goal and I am going to go get it no matter what. No one can stop me. They can delay me. Situations in life like Covid can delay our success. But it cannot stop you from succeeding. If you have that strength.
Okay?
You know, around this time, like when I was 20, I just came out of, You know, intermediate. I think I was probably 18, 19 and then gone into medical college reading huge volumes of textbooks. And I didn't know how to read all those big books, thousands of pages, tiny, tiny letters. And you know what I did at the time? Someone told me, I think you need to improve your reading skills. So I read a Book how to Read Faster and Better. So it teaches you techniques of how to read faster so you can absorb more information in little time. There are always ways you need to look into because achieve your goal. And then I went on to read many other books too. Motivational books, character building books and all those things played such a strong role in what I am today. The Magic of Thinking Big the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. How to Win Friends by Dale Fearney Awaken the Jane within Anthony Robbins. Like there are so many nice books essentially that you can learn from. Don't waste your time. Don't waste your time. Now that is the mental strength part. Building the character, building our willpower. Right now let's talk a little bit about staying calm. Why do we need to stay calm? Because when your mind is calm, your stress levels will be low. You will be feeling happy, you will be living a happy life and you can perform better. You can build a bright career, you can be healthy. All those things are our goals, right? What happens is when a person is distracted. When a person is distracted, restless, stressed, they can't focus. Just can't focus on what they need to do. When a person is calm, they can perform like a pro. A calm mind is going to bring great clarity in your thinking. If you're studying something, for example, preparing for exams. If your mind is calm, right, you can absorb the information, whatever that you're reading much faster. A restless man may take almost two hours to get the same thing. But a calm person can understand the same thing. In half an hour he'll be done. Also, they can understand things much better way. When your mind is calm, it is very creative.
It's.
It makes those connections in the brain very fast. You remember better, your retention is better. When you're calm, if you're distracted, you're always looking around. You just don't get it. You may read it, but it doesn't stay within you. See, a calm mind is essential for high performance. I wish I knew this 25 years ago. I did it. I want you to know it now. No one told me at the time, I am telling you now. And a calm mind is going to greatly enhance your iq. Greatly enhance your iq. A calm mind. You need to make calmness a habit in your life. And all you need to do that is 20 minutes a day you spend on developing that calm mind. I developed a system for people where they can spend as little as 20 minutes a day. Maybe 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the evening. Practice it. It's going to Be very helpful for your exams. Your life in general. Essentially, a calm person is going to be efficient. Finish tasks in less time, with less effort. More time for fun activities, right? You should do hard work. You should do all that is needed with a calm mind. We discussed this before. There are five things for peak performance. One is combine. Combine will give you the focus. It will also help you strengthen your willpower, positive attitude and setting goals. Think big and go achieve. Remember this one. Remember this slide. This is what is needed right now. Forget about all the nonsense. Don't watch tv. Don't get latched on to the negative news cycle that is constantly going on. Don't focus on the negative stuff. Your mind becomes whatever you focus upon. It is as simple as that. Your mind is essentially a bunch of thoughts put together. Your mind is like a vessel. If you pour all positive thoughts, it is going to be positive. If you pour all negative thoughts, it's going to become negative. Whatever thoughts that are you entertaining, that is your mind. That's it. You decide which thoughts you want to
entertain in your mind.
If you think negative, if you're constantly consuming negative information, you're going to go down. You're going to feel depressed. You're going to feel anxious. You say, no, I don't want that. You change the channel like you change the TV channel. Your mind is nothing but like a TV channel. If you turn on the tv, if you're watching a horror movie, of course you're going to feel horrible. If you change the channel to a feel good movie, then you're going to feel good. Your mind is exactly like that and the remote control is in your hand. You switch on and off what you want. Focus on only positive information. Look for stories of hope during this Covid season. TV always says, so many people died. There is always sensationalism. But look at how 98 to 99% are improving, right? And don't think about, oh my God, my exams are delayed. There is so much uncertainty. No one is teaching me. No, that is all your negative thoughts. You thinking in your mind. You say, wow, I have the whole day for myself. I don't have to drive. I don't have to travel anywhere to study. I can study at home and have all the knowledge available here. I'm going to plan and do it. That's the kind of attitude that is needed, right? We discussed this before. The habits you build now will be with you for the entire life. There is a powerful relaxation exercise that anyone can do to get rid of the negativity from Their minds. Alright? And I'm going to share the relaxation exercise with you in this presentation at the end that is going to help relieve you of all the negativity. And there is something that I want to say here which is. Do you know the reason why so many people are stressed in the world, in our community, in our society? It is because we never get taught how to handle stress, do we? At home, at school, at college, in the universities, at work, we never get taught about these things. How are you going to become successful at something? By learning about it, by practicing it, Spending enough time on it. Right? If you want to become an engineer, if you want to become a doctor, you just don't become a doctor or engineer by thinking, oh, I'm going to be there tomorrow. No, first you go to intermediate, you take MPC or ypc. You study, you get into MSET or another entrance exam. Then you go to the college for another four years or five years. Then you practice. Then you become whoever you are in your profession, right? The same way. Calmness is a habit. Stress management is a skill that we need to develop from an early age. Otherwise you'll be stressed all your life. Some people by default, they somehow know it and they handle it very well. But most people, they have wrong coping skills. That's the reason we all get into addictions. So this is the right time for you to learn these habits of calmness, stress management. This is the time. This is time, okay? Millions of people are stressed because no one teaches us these things. I did not know for a long time. Now coming to very specifically about you guys, students struggling right now. Your mantra right now is stay totally focused on your studies, okay? Take this challenge, whatever that you are facing, and rise above it. Think about it like this. After my studies are done, for the next two years, three years, four years, whatever it is, then I can relax. Until then I'm going to focus on what I need to do. 90% hard work, 10% relaxation. That should be your mantra. 90% hard work, 10 percent relaxation. Relaxation is also important, but not overly relaxed, Right? I'll tell you the formula for success. What I used to do as a kid in the college. And even now I'm getting every day at 5am so get up early in the morning, get ready, start reading, whatever that schedule that you have, just start reading, start studying, right? Attend the classes online, whatever that is needed. Take a break, relax a little bit, maybe for 15, 20 minutes. Come back again, start studying, take breaks after every 45 minutes or 1 hour of study. Take for 10 to 15 minutes break so that you can refresh yourself. Rejuvenate yourself. Get the energy back by eating a
snack,
drink some water. Just don't sit there non stop because your brain will not function after an hour or two. Taking breaks is important. Make a schedule. I used to study like this for almost 16 hours a day when I was in my intermediate and later in medical college for a long, long time in the library. Make that effort. Make that effort.
Okay,
there is another slide that I want to share with you. This is going to be very important for you for your exams. For your exams. How many of you had the experience during your exams that you know the answer and you can just remember you saw the question like yeah, I think I know this but you just don't remember it. How many people had this experience? And you come out of the exam and all of a sudden you remember it, right? How many people had this experience? Almost every single one of us, right? I had this experience so many times growing up taking exams. It is because when your mind is stressed and restless you cannot access the information that you already have. You have a subconscious mind and a conscious mind. Okay? Whatever you study, whatever you memorize, it is all saved in your subconscious mind. It is there as a memory. It is just there, sitting there. And there is a door that connects the conscious mind and subconscious mind. There is a door between them. When your mind is relaxed, right? The information that you already have in your subconscious mind is easily accessible. It gets passed on the conscious mind and then you know it. Oh yeah. This is the answer and you get it, right? But if you are stressed, anxious and worried, whatever you are studying, it just is locked up in the subconscious mind and this door is shut. The door between the conscious mind and subconscious mind, it gets shut and so you cannot access it when you need the most. Karnudi, Kadalaga Ipotumdi. When he needed the most all the knowledge, he couldn't remember those things. If you remember Kannadhi story, Gurtananda Miku, right? So what I recommend for you guys, especially if you're going for an exam is keep your mind calm. Keep your mind calm, stay relaxed, study, but stay relaxed. Don't get anxious, worried about it. Then you will be able to access all the knowledge that you have learned in two years, three years, four years in your life. It comes out. It is there. It is just there sitting there. But you need to learn how to be calm and make being calm and relaxed a habit habit. You need to build that habit from now from now, not before the exam, from now. If I knew this, I would have gotten many more questions, right in my MZ exam, I think, sir.
So
and then the other thing is we discussed about the goal setting, right? Let me discuss a little bit about goal setting for you guys. Setting goals is probably the single most important thing that you need to do to succeed in life. You need to have a clear vision. Our mind tends to make it happen. Whatever that we envision. Your mind have that capability in your mind. You think about it, you put it on paper and say because you are all just came out of intermediate and then you are studying in pharmacy and it colleges, right? Where are you going? Are you planning your career? What do you want to become? Did you ask yourself these questions? I have seen again and again in my life that if I set a goal, if I visualize in my mind what I want to do, it almost always happens. Of course we have to do hard work, but almost always happens. If you don't have a goal, you don't even know where you are. You don't even know where you are going. You don't even know whether you are a successful person or a failure. So having a goal is very important, right? It is also proven by research. All these athletes, the sports people, when they actually visualize the outcome, whether it's basketball, cricket, hockey, whatever it is, when they visualize the outcome, they tend to do much better. They tend to do much better. All the training that they have comes to their help if they visualize the outcome. So you decide, I want to get 100% this year or I want to get something else. Whatever it is that is important for you. Set yearly goal and then quarterly goal and then monthly goal and then weekly goal. You can divide it up. There are very specific tools on how to do that. And once you say, okay, this week, this is important, I need to study this, I need to achieve this. And then you put it on the calendar, block the time. Morning 6am to 8am this is what I'm going to do. Afternoon 2pm to 4pm this is what I'm going to do. You write it down in your calendar and then go to it. And you need to hold yourself accountable and you need to hold yourself accountable by not only just using your willpower, you telling yourself, but include other people in your plan, tell your friends or form a small group of friends and you all are going to hold each other accountable to study, Right? There is one mistake that I want. There are a few mistakes to avoid in this process. All of you students, do not compromise your sleep because poor sleep means poor performance. Poor sleep means poor performance. Make sure you get seven to eight hours of sleep every night. If you cannot get seven hours or eight hours of sleep, you only got, let's say five hours or six hours at night. Then make sure you take a nap for an hour or two in the afternoon. Sleep greatly enhances your learning. What you absorb. You know, we need to be smart. It's just not about hard work. We need to be smart and efficient in what we do. If you do it that way, I told you, you will have more time to have fun. You need to do it the smart way. All right? Sleep well. Don't study blindly. Don't study blindly. Have a goal. Like I mentioned before, don't waste your time. Avoid long conversations with people. Bring back your focus to studies. This is the most important phase in your life. Don't read passively. Active learning is important. Just don't keep your book there. Oh, okay. Read this. Read this. No, you are barely absorbing. If you are reading passively, study. Do quizzes. Let someone ask you questions. Write notes. When you write notes, what happens is your left brain and right brain, they get integrated. You remember better. You think that, oh, writing notes is a waste of time. No, actually it saves a lot of time. Write down your own way. You don't have to write every single line that is in the textbook. You think about it, you put together in mind, oh, okay, this is how it is. So I'm going to write it my own way. Whatever I learned, teach it to other people, your friends, discuss. These are all active ways to learn. Active ways to learn. Another way is to increase retention is use color coding. Color coding means I used to color all the time starting from intermediate until later in my life. That important. Points. One color. Difficult points to remember. Another color. Forgotten point. There are some points that you always get confused, prone to make mistakes. Another color. So before exams, what I used to do is I quickly used to review all these things because you can't read the entire textbook, right? I quickly used to read those things that I thought are most important or the things that I'm going to forget. That improves your retention. That helps you ace in your exams, right? Make it a game. Make it a game. The study. Make it a game. It is a game, isn't it?
Yeah.
So the reason why I'm mentioning some of these tips is there are ways you may not be thinking about it right now because either you don't have the experience or, or you never learn these things. But if you ask your lecturers, if you follow the guidance of some of the seniors who are really good, they can help you. They can. You, you need to ask. That has to start from within you. What can I do, sir, to do better? Be curious. Be curious. All right. It is an entire science, the performing exams itself. But I'm going to end with this last slide here. How to avoid social media stress. Because a lot of you kids, you are struggling. Because some of you said before, some of the students said to me before, how can I overcome this social media problem? The addiction to the phones, Facebook, the Instagram. My strong recommendation is maintain a social media duration limited to maximum of 60 minutes per day. Maybe 20 minutes in the morning, 20 minutes in the afternoon, 20 minutes in the evening, that's it. And you tell all your friends, hey, I'm only going to be on this Instagram or Facebook from morning 7am to let's say 7:20am again in the evening this time. That's it. Then we can chat.
Then we can.
That's enough. You don't have to keep scrolling all the pictures on Instagram, right? It is wasting your time. You'll be losing focus, you'll get distracted. Other thing is, avoid getting pulled into negative news cycles on social media. It is much easier to spread negativity than positivity. And negativity spreads like wildfire. Avoid that. If you see something negative, a pessimistic post, don't pay attention to it. Look for positive things on social media. Look for stories of hope. And know that that the social media friends may not be your real friends. Just because on Facebook they friended you doesn't mean that your real friend. Build more. Build actual relationships on ground with your family, with actually physical people around you. That is what you need to do. Get off the all the Facebook and all these social media, it doesn't help, it just drains your energy. And also don't see someone on the Facebook or Instagram and say, oh, they look very happy. It seems like they're having fun. I feel very depressed. Don't compare yourself. Just because someone posted a happy face on their Facebook or Instagram, it doesn't mean that they are really happy. Don't compare yourself. Don't compare yourself. A lot of that is happening these days, right? So these are all very important. Like I said, don't compare yourself. Go within to find your happiness. Learn how to be relaxed and calm. That is what is going to give you real happiness. That is what is going to give you the hap the focus to succeed. All right. So. There is much more and much more. The entire science. But I'm going to pause here for a second and then we can go into doing that relaxation exercise that I mentioned. But I want to pause here for a second to see if there are any questions, comments.
Hi sir, I just messaged you on the chat box. A question from Rohita Ritu.
Okay.
You want me to read it?
All right, I see. Sir, tell me about time management. Because some of us studying third year btec so we need to concentrate on regular basis as well as on our long term goals.
Yeah.
Time management is essentially an entire science. And it is going to take a lot of time to go into the details of it. But I'll tell you in two lines the essence of time management. Okay. Have a calm mind so that you can be efficient. That is number one. Number two, set a goal so that you don't get distracted running around. These distractions take out a lot of your time. Okay. Number three, Write down on your calendar. This is what I want to do. Make sure you write it right. Number four, hold yourself accountable either by yourself or telling your mother, father, friend, whoever it is and tell them you need to ask me at the end of the day whether I have finished whatever goal I have set. Accountability. In essence, these four things. If you do it, you'll be far ahead than many other people. Okay.
Yeah.
Sri Uma Maheshwari Garu is asking. Hi sir, My son is wasting time by playing online games and neglecting the studies. Yes, I heard that madam. And a lot of people are in the same situation. If you look at our presentation today, it is the same thing. Having a goal. The reason why I'm saying it so many times is if there is no goal, people just waste time. And sometimes someone, an adult had to sit next to them and help them set those goals one by one. And then make it a habit for them. Make it a habit for them. I started writing goals around the same age, 20 years old, I think when I was in medical college, around 20. And that helped me a lot. And it is a process that you need to learn how to do it. Maybe another day we can go into the details of that. Mr. Babu Prasad, Dr. M. Babu Prasad is saying, life, sir, life is mixed with friends. It will reduce some stress by sharing our thoughts. Yes, that's true. Having good friends is important. There is no doubt about it. A little bit of relaxation and entertainment is necessary for our mind to perform at its highest level. It is okay. But just make sure that it is not getting out of control. Because sometimes people think that oh, I am going to go to my friend's home for half an hour and then they stay for the entire day. It shouldn't be like that. First you, you always. When it comes to goals, you need to set your priorities. Okay. Today my top priority is prepare for the exam. Let us say my next priority is there is some work at home that I need to do. Okay. Second priority. My third priority is okay, I need to go to my friend and spend some time. Okay, you do the relaxation in the evening. You do your first priority first. First things first.
Right?
You do that first. Whatever is most important thing for you. And then Sai Nagarjun, Lukka is asking, tell us how can we focus on just one thing? We need to talk about concentration. Power here. Most people's minds are distracted, restless, thinking. They're thinking that some people can sit there and do something. And no matter what is happening around them, they don't lift their head. They're just immersed. Some people turn around for every little thing, for everything. They just look around. They don't have the concentration or dis. They get too distracted. So there is a concentration technique that can be taught to people where you're helping your mind to exactly focus. You're training your mind to focus. And I will teach that at the end of this session. Okay? But you need to practice.
Okay.
Sai Nagarjnay, Pendi, Sai Divya. What is the process to achieve goals? Hard work, determination, visualization, where you want to go, setting your priorities right, Accountability. It is simple. What you need to do is simple. It just needs practice. And when a failure hits us, means you couldn't achieve the goal that you want, don't get depressed. You take another shot at it. You keep moving. You never give up. Babu Prasadgar is saying doing your duty perfectly as usual reduces stress. That's true. When you know that you have given 100% your best in whatever that you are doing, you feel good about it. Yes, the result may not always come, but have you given your 100%? That is an honest question that every single person need to ask themselves. Have I given my 100%? Whether it's an exam, whether it is some other task, whatever it is. And you need to make that a habit. You need to make that a habit. You know, the things that I really cherish, what I learned during my years in the intermediate and then medical college, it is not so much the knowledge I gained, the knowledge I gained, I might forget. But the habits that I have built sit there morning to evening study is the habit that I can sit there. Now I'm using the same habit to create presentations, to do seminars I can do for three days in a row. Because I have built that habit. I have built that focus, that concentration, determination. Those habits, those are going to stay with you for the rest of your life. So what you do now is one very important giving you 100%. And then there is how to relieve anxiety. We talk a little bit about it, but it's an ocean of knowledge. And then since our college face most non returnable blessed time, everyone should taste one where we find ourselves. Is going on waking up early the
best way or can spend late night?
Okay. Is waking up early the best way to study or staying late? Okay, waking up early. If you can wake up early and study, your mind is fresh, right? That is very, very, very important. What happens is your mind needs to get recharged. Every night when you go to sleep, your mind is getting recharged. It is like a battery. Your mind. What happens to your cell phone? Use it all day and the battery is drained. You put it to charge, right. And then in the morning you wake up and you use the cell phone. Let's say you forgot to charge your cell phone last night. It's going to be dead this morning, right? Your mind is exactly like that. That's the reason I said sleep is very important. Sleep is going to help you solidify all the knowledge that you learned earlier and let it get nicely retained in your memory. And when you wake up in the morning when your mind is fresh without any distractions at that time, you're going to learn much faster whatever you're focusing on. Right. So Meghad, is waking up really the best way that is done. Plan is scheduled perfectly. That is good. Yeah. Essentially all the questions are about almost the same topics that we discussed. There is something about financial stress that is very huge. Actually, we'll talk about it too. But I want to actually ask ESRK sir to say a few words because he is so experienced seeing students and teaching them all his life. I would love to have the opportunity for us and especially the kids to hear a few words from him. Actually, sir, please, sir.
I really don't know. It's a lot of things going around in my mind having listened to you over an hour and a half. But I keep always motivating my students. The first thing I do and then I tell them if somebody comes up in life, there are three secrets to me and I, I, I, I use those Three secrets. The first one, hard work. The second one hard work. And the third one too is hard work. That's how I go about. That's how I believe in that I practice that I read every day. A geology book keeps me busy all the time. I'm still a learner at 77 years of age and I'm teaching my 59th batch. Next of April I'll be starting my 60th batch. Hopefully if I keep alive. So I enjoy sharing beautiful things. Something like I learned now with my students. I just transfer certain things. I am. I am benefited by exposure to your thought. And there are certain things which are in my subconscious mind and I got to know how to get them back to conscious mind and present them in a presentable way to my students in a way they like. Though there are so many gimmicks into how to make them pay attention to you. I do a lot of experiments. I do lot. I mean they are practical only in teaching. I'm happy you asked me that question. Tell your friend. Tell my friends. There's nothing to beat hardware. There's nothing to beat sincerity. There's no. Nothing to beat commitment. There's nothing to beat developing good habits like what you said. And after all, you are doing all these things for yourself, not your five parents. They don't deal with that. They think they are studying for the sake of the parents. No, the parents. These days the parents are doing their best. The parents are really over indulging sometimes, which I don't like. In your times, the parent never overindulged. Now the parents are old. The parent tries teach to teach me how to teach. That's too bad. That's too bad. Oh, these are so many things coming up. I'm happy you asked. I wish those young guys there in the college between 200 all the best in their life. Maybe some of them were students of my college. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity.
Well, thanks. Thanks for sharing what you said and every single thing. What Yesr caser. You need to keep it in mind. He has so much experience that and he's saying the single most important thing is hard work.
Hard work.
Hard work. Hard work. Hard work. If you do hard work, if you're determined to do hard work, you'll find solutions will come to you. The focus. Hard work. Determination, Willpower. Right? So with that let us take a few minutes to do this relaxation exercise and then you could use it anytime. Okay. Because when your mind is relaxed, right? It feels so good. It feels so good. So let's do that for a few minutes. All right?
Okay.
I know we have some 25 Zoom participants in this one, but there are probably a few thousand on the YouTube live. Many people are seeing. So all of you guys,
What I
want you all to do is sit back
and totally relax in your chair. Just lean back. If you are on a bed or a couch. If you want to lie down also, that is totally fine. What I want is your body the
way to completely sink into the chair. Let go of all the weight.
Just sink.
Sink into the chair.
Let go of
all the anxiety, worry, fear in your mind. Just let it go. You tell it. The next five minutes are mine. For myself. For me. The next five minutes are for me to relax.
Any thought that comes to your mind, tell the thought.
Come back after five minutes. Not now. Take a deep breath. Take a deep breath slowly and then release it slowly. Again. Take a deep breath. Do this a few times. And as you do this, deep breathing and then releasing the breath slowly, You'll notice your mind and body, both of them relaxing. Your thoughts also slow down. Because your thought is directly connected to your breath, it is hard to control your thoughts by yourself. That's the reason we use our breath to control our thoughts. An average human being, they have all these restless thoughts running fast. And so they are distracted when you use your breath. When you slow down your breath automatically, your thoughts also slow down. Let them go. Any thought that comes to your mind, just let it go. Do not focus on it.
Let it go.
Anytime a thought tries to disturb you, take a deep breath. Let go. Let go of everything right now. These five minutes are yours. Just be here in this moment. You can think about all the problems in life later. Nothing is going to happen in five minutes. Stay here.
Now.
Observe your breath slowly. As the breath is going in, breath is going up. I'm sorry. Ingoing breath. Observe the outgoing breath. Notice that when you are taking a breath in, you cannot take a breath out. When you are breathing out at the same time, you can breathe in. So there is only one breath at a time. There is only one moment at a time. This moment, there is only reality that exists now. Focus on that moment. Either you can breathe in or breathe out on both at the same time. Stay with that breath. Stay in that moment. Just be there. Let go of all the negativity. Any negative thought comes to your mind, you just let it go. You can visit it five minutes later. You stay here. Empty your mind of all the negativity. Enjoy the peace. During a normal day, your Mind is filled with all these negative thoughts. What you watch on tv, watch you in newspapers. What is happening around you. And all that get accumulate, gets accumulated in your mind. And we never empty it. Right? We never empty it. That's the reason there is so much stress. We need to empty our minds every day. Empty your minds of all the negativity every single day.
Both in the morning and in the evening.
Then your mind will be fresh. Just let go. Let go of all the thoughts in your mind right now. Focus on your breath. Stay there. Up. Once your mind is totally relaxed, you could use that opportunity to visualize what you want to achieve. You can look at your spiritual eye or the third eye that is between your two eyebrows. Lift your gaze gently to look there. And then you could visualize what you want achieve. What is it you really want? How do you want your life to be? How well do you want to do your exams? Whatever it is that matters to you, visualize it. Keep seeing it there. Let us say I want to get 100% in my exams. You keep seeing that 100% there. You keep seeing yourself successful
coming out
of the examination hall, happy, elated. You hold on to that visualization as long as you can without losing concentration. Keep looking there. Just keep focusing on your spiritual eye. Concentrate. If negative thoughts come, tell them five minutes later. Stay here keeping keep bringing back your attention. As you do this, more and more, you become more and more proficient with it. A day will come where you just sit and then you go into a state of deep relaxation. You'll have a calm mind. Wouldn't be great just before the exam. You could empty your mind of all the worries, all the fear, the tension. Feel totally calm and relaxed so that you can focus on the exam. Tap into your subconscious mind. Get all the answers out. But you need to practice it from now for that.
The truth is, the longer you do
this, the deeper will be your state of relaxation and calmness that you find. But for the sake of time,
whenever everyone is ready,
you could slowly come out of the state. Slowly become aware of your surroundings. And this will be the best time to set your goals.
Write down your priorities and focus on what is important. Or if there is some very difficult topic that you need to read and understand. Your mind is very calm now.
Relax.
It is going to absorb it well.
Your comprehending capabilities significantly increase. Focus on that. Now do this for 10 minutes in the morning.
10 minutes again. Do it for 10 minutes before you go to sleep. That's it. That is what all I'm asking You.
You can do that 10 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the evening.
Actually, you can do it between study periods. Instead of opening your phone, reading the junk you say, I'm going to sit down here and just relax. You're going to become a superman.
If you do this every day like that,
You'll develop the strength from within. You'll develop the concentration, power.
All that will happen.
I'm saying this after years of experience, not just reading out of some book. I've been teaching this for almost now,
15 years, longer than that.
And the result is always the same,
no matter who I am teaching. So use this.
I have refined water. I have learned
over the past two decades.
Whatever I learned, I have defined it into a very simple system.
Okay?
Use it. This is the simplest that you can get to.
All right? You can all come out of it now.
And if any further questions, I'm here to take them. But like I mentioned before earlier, at the beginning of this presentation,
I will
share with you a book. 7 Keys to Surviving Covid in India. Specifically, it's easy book to read. Read it so that you can help yourself. You can help your parents, your friends, everyone. Because we need to fight this misinformation
that is going on.
And you need to know what is the right information. How to protect yourself, what to do and what not to do about COVID I will share the link here and feel free to download it and use it. Okay. It's a short book only. I made it very specifically, written it
for
people like us, all of us, easy to read and understand.
Share the link shortly.
So, any comments from anyone? Any thoughts? Any final thoughts? Comments? Everyone asleep? Fell asleep.
