Cherag Shah, an inner clarity coach, identifies three key questions couples must ask each other to prevent marriage failure. He emphasizes that presence and communication are what keep relationships alive, not the absence of problems.
Marriages don't fail because there's no love. It fails when you forget to ask these three questions. But before I reveal the questions, understand this. See, most people marry habits, not souls. If you think deeply, you get used to playing the role of a partner, a provider or a parent and you forget what your partner needs you to be. And this is why you don't feel the same love. Sit alone with your partner and ask these three questions. First, who are we now? Second, what do we need? And third, how do we grow together? So when you ask these three questions, you start acknowledging each other, you start seeing each other and you start being proud of each other's effort. Because at the end, all that we need is a little bit of encouragement. Love doesn't die on its own. It vanishes when you're not present. And the only way to get it back is to return back to each other fully present.
