Foreign. Hi everyone, welcome back. Chris Stout here with my 2023 C8 Corvette Stingray Coupe. A very easy and simple tool free, pretty much tool free installation today. Some people have not noticed there's almost like a little Easter egg here. It might be a little hard to point out, but basically there's the Corvette logo and it says Team Corvette. But under general circumstances it's very hard to see. I mean even just stepping back this far away, it kind of doesn't even show or notice, which is nice as an Easter egg. But as an alternative, what I'm going to do today is, is take some material. Just basically this is. In this case, it's a piece of manila folder that I have cut and I'm going to take some Scotch brand electrical tape, which is what I've used as my little guides here as well, and put some strips of that across the manila folder and then push it into place, which will be the tricky, tedious part with little simple tools like this. And then I will, I can't do this by myself one handed very well. But again I will step you through and show you. Basically it's a tool for you. Just reach in behind and put that red material. I've also seen other people from hobby stores and craft stores just get other kinds of red vinyl material. You can certainly do it in any color that you want. I had this on hand and it seemed like a good efficient use of tools available. So stay tuned and I will show you what it looks like next. Okay. And we're back. So basically just simply this, put three strips of the red tape across there. Once it was all the way on it, I then just cut it back out again so I wouldn't have any awkward edges or anything. And then next step will be inside the car and sliding it down in that space and making this logo, team Corvette come alive. And so about a careful 60 seconds later here, just removing the guide tape, which was helpful from being by myself in the interior, interior of the car. Pull that off and now you see a red Team Corvette shows up much more brilliantly. Maybe it's, it's the price is right for this ridiculously minimal Easter egg upgrade. But I just, I really like it. It goes with the pop of the red brakes, goes to the pop of the steering wheel center. Just these little kinds of things like that. They don't have to be expensive, they don't have to be difficult and laborious. There's a few little simple things that you can do to tweak and customize your Corvette. That can make it a little bit more special to you. I hope you enjoyed this episode. Got a lot more coming up. Got a lot of other things I'm going to be doing to this, so please look in the show notes below for other episodes and other activities on the channel. Thanks again. Drive safe and I appreciate you watching. Take care.
