Two speakers debate why women hide cosmetic surgery while men stay silent about it. About 90% of cosmetic patients are women, yet they often discourage friends from getting work done out of competitive insecurity. Being open about your own procedures, they argue, cuts through the envy and unrealistic expectations.
Girls are secret haters. So if one of your friends is telling you not to do it, yeah, she doesn't want you to be hotter than her.
If you look statistically, 90% plastic surgery patients are women and then 10% men. Some men do get it. I think men don't ever really talk about it, and they definitely don't comment on other people. But like, why, why does that happen?
It's like you can't win. Like, the Kardashians don't tell you what they get and you're mad, but then people do tell you what they get done and then you're mad. I'm like, wouldn't you rather me tell you I got lipo on my waist and that's how it looks like this? Like, that's no matter how many crunches you do, it's not going to look like this because I got it sucked out. Like, yeah, I'm a big believer in transparency.
I feel like if you're a celebrity, you owe it a little bit more to people to be honest with what you do with your body because they're looking up to you as a role model. Yeah. If you're a normal person, then you obviously don't. That's your choice. That's just my personal opinion.
