I have some root. I see some yellowing of my teeth, and my dentist wants to put a composite filling on it or some bonding on it. It's really important that we get down to what the diagnosis is, what the root cause of the recession is. Why do the teeth look longer before we do any treatment? The reason why I bring this up is because if you end up getting bonding on your tooth before you see a periodontist to get the gum graft, what can happen is whenever I do the graft, it's not going to attach. To bonding because it's not a natural part of our body. If you're ever faced with should you get bonding or should you get a gum graft, I recommend that you go see a periodontist first to see what the root cause of it is and if gum grafting is an option for you before you do the bonding. Because once you do the bonding, the gum graft is going to be very difficult to do.
