Chronic stress drives cellular inflammation, which underlies virtually all age-related disease and mortality. An engineer explores how protecting your nervous system might slow aging at the cellular level.
Chapters
The engineering curious mind became obsessed with health, wellness, optimizing. And I— all my research, I had realized that science has very much proven that we all age, get disease, and eventually die from cellular inflammation. Like, if you peel the onion back enough, the underlying cause of all mortality, unless you die in an accident, is cellular inflammation. And science has also proven that the number one leading cause of cellular inflammation is chronic stress. And when I realized, I was like, oh, I need to start to pay attention to my nervous system and to the health of it. So that, that's how the journey started.
