In this brief interview, a caller expresses frustration over a four‑month wait for a dental appointment and asks Dr. Katie To how to locate an urgent, wellness‑focused biological dentist. Dr. To advises first seeking dentists certified by reputable organizations such as the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM). She recommends contacting offices and asking specific questions about safe mercury removal protocols, use of ozone therapy, availability of cone‑beam CT (CBCT) imaging, and biocompatibility testing. She stresses that the dentist and staff should be able to answer these questions confidently, and that the patient should feel comfortable and aligned with the provider’s philosophy, as the patient is the “hero” of their own healing journey.
