I graduated in 2011 from Tufts University, so I was in Boston for some time and I worked in Connecticut for some time, and I moved here in about 2016, and I actually started my own practice. It's in Cypress, Texas. So during that time I built it up, I was working part-time there, part-time at other locations, including Dr. Katie's office. So I actually met Dr. Katie in 2018. I had high mercury, high arsenic, high Cadmium, I think lead too. And so that kind of put me on this whole journey. So I started to detox and Dr. Katie actually did, you know, smart removal and all of my— I actually had amalgam fillings too. So she did it all for me. And it took about like 6 months for it to clear up because my body is a hoarder. So I keep everything inside of my body. And that's one thing you don't want to hoard. And so that started my wellness journey. I became certified with IABDM. And started introducing, you know, things like nutrition and more biocompatible materials for my patients. So that kind of did a whole turnaround, and thank goodness my team was on board with it. You know, once I started my own wellness journey up to this point, I've grown a lot as a person because I understand a lot more since I've been in it. That's why I want to implement a lot of things for my patients, because I understand it now. A lot of patients come in, they're having inflammation, they're having pain, and, you know, a lot of people misconcept that Teeth are just separate from the body, and that is completely not true. The body, you know, the mouth is the gateway to the body, and so anything you put in your mouth, anything you have in the mouth, is going to be in your body as well. And so that's my goal, is to educate our patients so that they're aware and they understand what they're putting into their bodies, or how their sleep is, their airway, because all of that is so important. And I realize that now it's not just teeth, but it's basically everything that you incorporate into your lifestyle.
