Hey, how you doing? Uh, you know those doctor first name only people you see on television, like Dr. So-and-so, Dr. So-and-so, they've only got one name, you know. They'll tell you buy this book and, uh, it'll give you the absolute 47 steps to never go through this again. Well, I know Deal With It's not like that. I say that from the very outset. And, uh, 'cause I fuck up regularly and, um, I'm pretty sure you do too, or you wouldn't be sitting here listening to this stuff. So what do you do when you mess up? What do you do when you make a mistake and you feel absolutely devastated? Well, here are 2 keys. Number one is measure grace to yourself. Look, you're trying. You did your best. Measure that grace to yourself. And number 2 is surround yourself with people who will measure grace back to you. It needs to be a 2-way street. You need to surround yourself with people who see beyond the now and the here and see the man or the woman that's trying and believe that there is a future for you.
