THE POWER OF VISION PART 2: "THE SOURCE OF VISION" | DR MIKE WOODS | 17 MAY 2026 | RADAH CHURCH

In this sermon Dr Mike Woods expands the series “The Power of Vision” by teaching that God Himself is the sole source of every prophetic vision and the provider of the resources needed to fulfill it. He reviews the previous lesson’s definition of vision (Hebrew hazon – a prophetic revelation that comes from the heart) and then outlines two primary obstacles to realizing God‑given visions: (1) carnality – a flesh‑based mindset that opposes spiritual perception, and (2) fixation on past successes, which can lock believers in history and prevent them from moving toward destiny. Woods argues that true vision requires a spiritual mindset, continual communion with the Holy Spirit, and the declaration that God’s end is already known and already rehearsed. He stresses ownership of the vision before physical occupation, the necessity of community‑wide (kingdom) alignment, and the principle that “vision generates vision.” Throughout, he intersperses scriptural citations (Romans 8, Philippians 3, Isaiah 46, Ecclesiastes 3, etc.), personal testimonies, and a series of spoken declarations for the congregation to proclaim. The sermon culminates in a collective affirmation that God is the source, that believers have no limits, and that the promised vision is near and will manifest.
Chapters
This morning we're going back into our teaching we started last week on vision. And this morning we want to talk about the source of vision. Say that with me. Say, the source, the source of vision. Y'all know who that is, right? Hallelujah. So we gonna talk about him and what that means. A lot of times we hear statements like, where there is vision, there's provision, and we hear it, but we really don't understand how that works, the science, the theology behind it, how to bring that to pass. So what I want to do this morning, I want to give you the knowledge on how to really see provision from God be manifested for vision in your life and corporately in our lives. Say that with me. Say, God is my source. Say, as a matter of fact, There is no other source for my vision but God. Say, all kingdom vision is built by God for him to provide. Say, there can be no provision without the provider. Say, God is the source and provider. Of all I need for my vision, in Jesus' name. Come on, give God praise if you believe that. Hallelujah. So let's, let's just review a little bit what we talked about last week. Um, and I, I started working on something God was giving me. I thought I was going to preach that this morning, and I was downstairs working on it. I said, no, that's for tonight because we're going to talk about how Jezebel comes to block vision. But we need to understand the source, and that helps us understand why she wants to stop, why that spirit wants to stop vision from coming forth. All right, so let's review. Give me, give me the next slide. So what is vision? We learned that vision was from the Hebrew word hazon, which is what we get words like horizon. It is a prophetic revelation, perception, dream, or oracle— something God speaks so that we can perceive it, or watch this, align with it. God never shows vision because he has nothing else to do. He shows vision to give life purpose and meaning. We learned that last week. He shows vision because he wants the vision to be fulfilled. He's not showing you a vision because he's just having fun showing you pictures of things that may happen. He shows you vision because this is something he has already foreknew. This is something he's already thought about. So if vision then is from God, then he has to become the source of it. Go to the next slide for me, Stu. We learned this last week, that sight is a matter of the eyes and vision is a matter of the heart. I share with you that the most pathetic person on earth is a person that has sight and no vision. It's tragic to be able to use your eyes but not be able to see what God has shown you in your heart. All right, next slide. I'm not going to tear with this. It's— watch the message from last week, it's all there. Keep going. I just said that. All right, now we're going to start. So I want to give you first off, and we're going to hit this really hard tonight, two enemies of progress and vision, because vision is always progressive. So you're always moving a step toward it. And a lot of times, the more you progress, the more the enemy fights you because he knows you're getting closer. Touch yourself, say, I'm getting closer. Say, it's about to happen. Do y'all realize God can't lie? And if he said it, it shall surely come to pass. Are y'all with me? So the first enemy of vision is carnality. And carnality is simply the act of being carnal. It is dependence upon your flesh. Carnality is the opposite of spirituality. You can't dwell in the same places. Either you're carnal or you're spiritual. Okay, I'm gonna say that again. Can't be both at the same time. Watch this. You can't be— because you got a whole lot of this going around in doctrine now— you can't be a kingdom citizen and a sinner. All right, you can't be a Christian and anything else. You have to choose a side. And if you choose kingdom citizen, you can't walk out a kingdom assignment or vision being carnal. You can't analyze it with your carnal mind. You have to tap into the dimension of the spirit and allow God to put his eyesight on your eyes so you view life through his perception. Most of the time we view life through a perception that we learned in iniquity. Born in sin, shaping in iniquity. All right, but you got to decide what you want to be— carnal. Because watch this, you can be saved and carnal, but you can't be a kingdom citizen pursuing vision and carnal. Because you can be a saved person stuck and not spiritual. There are a lot of Christians who live in escapism. They're living to go to heaven. We're not here just to get to heaven. We're here to have heaven on earth. Getting saved wasn't a fire escape. It was an opportunity to have a relationship with God, to fulfill his plan. To do what we are born to do. We are here to pursue a higher level of living versus being carnal. Let me show you some results of carnality. Let's go to Romans 8. We're going to start at verse 5, and I'm reading out the Message Bible here. Should be on the screen. It said, those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. So in other words, people who believe in themselves, all they do is figure out how they can keep the rules, how they can follow instructions, and really God never intended for our life in him to be miserable so that we are just waking up to obey rules. Are y'all with me? We should be living. Holiness becomes automatic when you get in him for real. Oh boy, because you can't have a relationship with God and not want to please him. But if you need somebody to always tell you, stop hoeing, stop being a homosexual, stop being a lesbian— if you need somebody always telling you that, okay, I'm just saying, that's a miserable life. That all you doing every day is, as my wife say, getting browbeat, which means somebody's got a Bible just beating you in your brow with it. So all you see is the word coming at you all day. But when you fall in love with God, you don't need that. Oh my God, here you don't need nobody policing you. I'm telling you right now, I'll be talking to my pastor friend, talking about they riding by their members' house and see who over there. Like, man, something's wrong with you. I wish I would get out of my bed at 2 AM and ride by your house and see whose car parked there. I'm not the Holy Ghost police. And some of them had a mitigator, God said they confront them about who at they house. What you need to do is teach them how to love God. I have a peace that y'all reverence God enough and y'all love him enough that I ain't got to follow you around town. I ain't got to follow you on your vacation and be stalking your Facebook to see what you're doing. The devil is a liar. I ain't got time. Yeah, but some people are obsessed with legalism. Matter of fact, some people really don't feel like they saved unless you tell them don't take a bath, don't brush your teeth, take off your makeup, take off your earrings, don't wear this, don't wear that. So they feel like if I can obey this No, that's carnal. It's legalism. Fall in love with God. Stop measuring your moral muscle based on what you can do. Watch this. Those who trust God's action in them find that God's Spirit is in them, living and breathing God. So you gotta trust that he's there. Rub your belly and say, God, I know you're there. Hallelujah. See, when you know he's there, you'll pay close attention to how you live, how you move. They said that the Holy Spirit in the Bible often is equated to a dove. So watch this, if he's equated to a dove, I want you to think about this. You should live like a dove is on your shoulder. If you had a real dove on your shoulder, one wrong move, he's gonna fly away. So if the Holy Spirit's a dove, live like he's on your shoulder to make sure you can keep him with you. Are y'all hearing this? That way You're saying, God, I trust you. I reverence your presence in my life, and I don't want to disappoint you. I don't care how good it looks, how bad you want it. Are y'all hearing this? Because watch this, there's no temptation that has come towards you that's not common to man. Everybody's tempted with something. Okay, y'all don't believe it. Jesus was tempted and tried on all points, yet without sin. So he, he went through every temptation to show you you can overcome it, and also to explain you're going to be tempted and your carnality is going to want to engage it. Let me, let me let you know something about temptation. Temptation is not something you don't want. You. It's something you desire. You know what you desire. Guess what the enemy does too, right? And he knows how to talk to you. And you have to make sure your relationship with God is tight, cuz temptation itself is not sin. I'm helping somebody, maybe live today. Temptation is not sin, but yielding to the temptation is sin. So the temptation is going to come, but you got to walk in the Spirit so you don't fulfill the lust of the flesh. Let's keep reading, verse 9. Glory to God. The Bible says, but if God himself has taken up residence I think I got verse 9. Stu, put it up there for him. Yeah, taking up residence in your life. Oh boy, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. So he's— the word is saying it's impossible for you to think more about you than God when he really live in you. It's impossible to be selfish. If God really lives in you. Okay, let's deal with that for a moment. Somebody needs that. Maybe not in here, but out there. Okay, selfishness is the source of all sin. Let's just start right there. It's the source of all sin because when you're sinning You're pleasing you and not God. Watch this. Nobody sins by force. Every person that sins chooses. Oh boy. And it's out of carnality. Again, I'm going somewhere with this. That we choose sin. Let me keep reading. He said, anyone of course who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won't even know what we're talking about. So what we're talking about right now is foreign for those that don't know he's there for real and have welcomed him in their life. Are y'all with me? He says this, he says the— oh, he said the Spirit of Christ are for those that welcome him, in whom he dwells. Even though you still experience the limitation of sins, you yourself experience life on God's terms. This is good. Sin is— comes into your life, you're missing the mark. You're born in it. But when you welcome him in, what he's saying here, you remove all limitations. I gotta teach this because anytime God gives you vision, it's gonna be bigger than you, and you're going to have to be clear. That there are no limitations. Are you hearing this? Not because of what your carnality deserves, but you got to be clear that there's no limitations because of the God you serve and his ability to be without limits. Say that with me. Say, God is without limits. Matter of fact, put your hand over your head. Just do it like this for a minute. Come on, come on. This is just some of y'all, this, this getting some movement in. You just move. Just say this with me. Say, ain't nothing above my head. I can go as high as I want to. I want you to let that sink in. As long as God is in you, there's no limitations in how high you can go. And what you can perform. No limits. Are y'all with me? Okay. He says you experience life on God's terms. He says, stands to reason, doesn't it, that if the alive and present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves you into your life, he'll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? That's a question. If he did it for Jesus, he'll do it for you. Because people love to use the excuse, I ain't Jesus. Ever heard people say that? Every— I ain't perfect. But if Jesus lived without limits and everything in the natural realm obeyed him, he could step on the water and start walking. Because he didn't live from the realm of carnality. As soon as he stepped on the water, gravity recognized the word that put it in place and said, I gotta surrender to the voice and the presence that put me in place. Gravity is invisible. It's not what makes you sink, is gravitational pull. Are y'all hearing this? But you can do what Jesus did. I can do what Jesus did if I don't buy into my limitations. So I have to defeat fear. I'm telling you, I'm praying about it because as good as I can swim, one day I, I believe I can walk on the water because he in me. Are y'all hearing this? Every time I'm around a pool, I get— I just— but you know why? My mind has bought into the limitation. Okay, uh, me and my wife was in Vegas a few years back, not this last time I went, but a few years back. We saw this guy out there who was a musician, and we saw this guy get on a swimming pool at a hotel Course, he's full of demons and familiar spirits, but he walks across the pool. We saw that. There was nothing. You can look in the water, there was nothing there but him and water. Are y'all hearing this? For every real, there's a phony. And God will show you that people in the demonic realm can perform things in familiar spirits, and he'll show you if They are doing this faking it. Are y'all hearing this? Operating in the spirit, that's not me. What could you do if you yielded to me? Are y'all hearing this? Okay, there are no limits, people. If you— if there's an— and I believe there's gonna be a purpose for me walking on water. I believe one day y'all gonna turn on CNN, they're gonna say, a preacher out here in the Atlantic Ocean standing in the middle of the ocean preaching. Are y'all hearing this? You know how many people get saved? Y'all ain't got to say nothing. If, if you can walk on water and preach a message in the ocean Okay, that's too much. Okay, let me keep going. Something— Apostle, I knew you was crazy. Let's not— that's too much, Pastor. No, but I'm telling you now, I'm just trying to just raise the bar for you. There ain't no limit. I believe one day I'm gonna not just raise the dead in the hospital room or at somebody's house, I'm gonna show up at a funeral. You only got to say nothing to me, because every funeral I go to, my hand is on the casket. I'm speaking to the body saying, get up in the name of Jesus, because one day it's gonna happen. But you know what? People have to be ready for that, because you might lose 3, 4 more folks. Somebody get up! Are you hearing this? So, but I believe in the right timing. God's gonna cause it to happen and everybody's gonna get saved. Are y'all hearing this? Because Jesus raised the dead, we just read it, right? He'll do the same thing for you. When God lives and breathes in you— and I'm almost done with this— and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus, you are delivered from the dead life. With his Spirit living in you, you are as alive as Christ. Amen. In other words, you just— you like him. You can do what he did. So the church ought to be doing what he did. All right. What blocks the manifestation of supernatural things is carnality. We're wired to believe what carnal thinking has taught us. Write this down: carnality is an enemy to God. I don't have it up there, but if you read Romans 8:1, it'll say, to be carnal minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Are y'all with me? The carnal mind is enmity, or an enemy against God. So if it's an enemy against God, it's an enemy against anything God puts in your life. It's an enemy to vision. It's an enemy to your gift. Your anointing is an enemy to your family. So you have to approach everything in life through spiritual lens. Watch this. Carnality— you can write this down, you may need it later— will cause you to build a cemetery in your life. Oh God, here we go. Where you ultimately bury your own vision. When you're carnal, you'll create a cemetery in your life where you bury all of the stuff God tells you that seems hard. Hoo-wee! How many times have we buried good dreams that came from God because we didn't have the resources or the manpower, or we didn't see how we were worthy to do it? So what we do, we take it right onto that cemetery. Because we analyzed it carnally. All right, I'm gonna teach this morning. Second enemy is this. I'm gonna get off carnality because some of y'all don't like that. Second enemy is— watch this— writing down to your vision is your last success. Greatest enemy to progress and vision is not the devil, it's not haters, it's not your lack of money or resources. It's your last success. I don't have it up there, but Philippians 3:10. Says, now therefore forgetting those things which are behind. Are y'all here? That's past failures and past successes. He said, forgetting those things which are behind. You could be so preoccupied with your last success that you miss the ability to move into your future. Past success can keep you locked in to history and you end up missing destiny. Say that with me: I can't be so locked in— I can't be so locked in— to history— to history— that I miss destiny. That I miss destiny. There are a lot of people stuck in what God did in '88. Are y'all hearing this? Or 62? Well, you know, in 62, this is my testimony in the Lord. Okay, yeah, okay. Well, what are you doing in 26? Are y'all hearing this? The Bible said every morning he gives you new mercies. He always wanted to do something different. He's progressive. Amen. Can I submit this to you? On the good side and the bad side, God will never look at your past to determine your future. Amen. People will look at your past and try to keep you out of your future, but thank God for the blood. Are y'all hearing this? Thank God that you ain't what you used to be. Well, let me talk about me. Thank God I ain't what I used to be. Glory. And when I see folk from my past, I start thinking twice and 4 times and 5 times, do I really want to engage this? Because are they coming because of who I am, or are they coming because they think I'm still who I was? Oh my, y'all ain't got to talk to me here. You got to size up contact with your history and decide. I'm talking to the camera because some of y'all think you ain't got no past, but you got one. The devil is a liar. You got to make sure people don't size you up by what you did, because God will never look at what you did to determine where you're going. I'm telling you right now, the blood works. Glory to God. The Bible said if you repent of your sin, he'll take your sin and cast it in the sea of forgetfulness to remember it no more. You know what some people do, they got a problem. They got a real problem. They dive in the sea of forgetfulness. I think they got some scuba diving gear that works in the sea of forgetfulness. Swim past they sin. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. And then they'll pick up your sin and try to throw it in your face. But thank God, the blood will cover me, the blood will keep me. And you got to decide, I don't care what you think about what I did last year, last month, 20 years ago. The blood works. Okay, so you— it also works on your last success, amen, because you weren't meant to be stuck there. It was only a building post for the next success. He wants to move you from glory to glory, from faith to faith. Every dimension of glory and faith requires— watch this— a new level you conquer. Listen, you need to understand, if we come in here, worship, praise God, God comes in, we live for God every day. Listen, it should be illegal For after all the encounters and experiences you have with God, that you don't conquer something every day— what we do in church should culminate with conquering, not staying in our last success. God's the source of victory. Vision comes from purpose. Vision comes from God's plan to do something different in the world. Go to Ecclesiastes 3. Touch it, touch your heart and say, God has placed purpose. God has placed purpose in my heart. In my heart. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, he made everything beautiful. Woo! In its time. See, we have to be careful trying to beautify things before it's time. 'Cause trials sometimes can get ugly. Pain can be hard. The things we go through can be rough, but God says, I make it beautiful in its time. Everything has a time for beauty. What does he say? It won't be this way always. God has already seen you better than you are right now. He's already seen me better than I am right now. I just want to announce to you really quick, your time is coming. Your time of beauty is about to be manifest. And I'm not talking about your external beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Most all of you are beautiful in your own right. The reality— and physically beautiful— but the reality is there's a beauty in your purpose, beauty in your life that's going to manifest. Because sometimes it seemed like the stuff God said he was going to do is taking a long time. Okay, here we go. So sometimes it seems like God is an old man. He give you a promise and then he just starts moving like this, just moving slow, just slow. But he's coming, and I'm telling you, you're closer than you think. Matter of fact, matter of fact, say it's coming. Say I'm closer. Than I think. Y'all can say it. Say, I'm closer than I think. I'm telling you, it's right around the corner. Just touch yourself. Say, it's coming. Hallelujah. Yeah, because you've been praying and it's coming. Thank you, Jesus. I'm— listen, a matter of fact, go to Isaiah. I think that's where it is. I want to show this to you because I don't want you just to believe me. Glory to God. Romans 10:8, let's go there first. The Bible said the Word is near you. Say, it's near me. It's coming. Say, it's coming. It is in your mouth and in your heart. So wait a minute, you got to watch what you say. 'Cause the beauty of the word is close. It's in your mouth, it's in your heart. So you gotta make sure when it gets hard, when it gets tough, you don't start speaking negative. All right. Even if you wanna cuss 'em out, don't cuss 'em. God's about to change it. Are y'all hearing this? Keep his word in your mouth. Speak those things that are not as though they were, because beauty is coming. Just do this. Say, it's at my fingertips. I'm telling you, it's that close. The prophetic utterance over your life is at your fingertips. The rest of it says he has also set eternity in your heart. So there's an eternal purpose in your heart. Say that one. Say there's eternal purpose in my heart. Yet no one can phantom what God has done from beginning to end. That's interesting. He puts it there, then he makes it mysterious. Let me say, there's always drama around prophetic vision. Now I ain't talking about the drama that your cousin gonna do at the family reunion. I'm not talking about— I'm not talking about that kind of drama. My son Ben has a master's in music and theater. Whenever they do performances, there's a drama that goes into whatever they're depicting. There's a whole production that leads you to believe, if they're good, that what they're doing is real. Are y'all hearing this? God produces the vision before you see it. Are y'all with me? Before you see a production from a Broadway performing group, they've already produced it in rehearsal. They've done it time and time again. They didn't just come out on that stage and perfect. They've been like Ben, he just came out on one show and now they're rehearsing for a new show he just got a role in. The show don't open, I think, until October. They rehearsing now. So then when you show up at the theater, they've already seen it. How you gonna see it? Somebody say drama. See, this ain't Uncle Junior drama here. This is— God has already rehearsed. Manifest. What's going to happen in your life before it manifests? Thank you, Lord. So that means you got to see it before you see it, because if you don't see it before you see it, when it manifests, you won't recognize it. See, that's why they rehearse, so we can recognize what the producer's vision was. You got to see this thing in advance. Sometimes visions show up and you don't recognize it because you ain't spent time in the spirit to get a glimpse of the production that was done from beginning to end. Are y'all hearing this? In your life, there's a, oh, a responsible urge. Say responsibility. That, that responsibility to respond to your ability. So God has already given you all the ability to fulfill vision. And there's a responsible urge that the Holy Spirit gives you to walk in purpose and to manifest through your life what God has already seen. It's already complete, family. You just gotta see it. Go to Isaiah 46:10. Maybe, maybe this will help you. I'm almost done, for real. He says, I make known the end from the beginning. So the end of your life, the drama that's going to manifest, the movie that's going to manifest, this light here is the end. God says the end is already settled. But I decided this not when you got saved, not when you came out of your mama's belly. I decided this in the beginning, before you even got in your mama's belly. Are y'all hearing this? I decided what your end would be. And then when you're born, you tap into the prophetic revelation. When you're born again and God introduces you to the end, he says, this is where you're going. You're going to be a millionaire, you're going to have a successful business, you're going to be happily married, you're going to have children. All of that was decided over there. Everything you go through from here to there in this middle is process. God is qualifying you. He's rehearsing you. For where you're going. So I just didn't— let me just bring close to us— I just didn't come up with Rhoda City. God saw Rhoda City and built it before I was born and says, Michael Woods, you're gonna lead a people to manifest this city. It's going to be built on 38 acres. It's going to have houses, soundstage, a Dominion Dome that seats 1,500. It's going to have a school, it's going to have restaurants, it's going to have parks. It's going to be a city within a city. It's going to have a prayer tower. He said, that's the end. But then he says, back up to the beginning and start at 1410 Santa Fe Trail with about 16 people who are really connected and work toward the end. Are y'all here? He declared the end from the beginning. The process is qualifying your heart. Here's what happened. Many people die in this and never get there because they can't endure the process. Because watch this, they don't realize the process is is for there. Some people even settle here and say, you know what, that's too much. I don't want that marriage, I don't want that business, I don't want them children, so I'm going to settle right here. Are y'all hearing this? Some people selling here because of what I just said. They don't see it before they see it, so they don't even recognize this is for them. You can't die in the process. The process gives you the qualification to keep that when you get it. He said, from ancient times, what is still to come, I say my purpose will stand and I will do all that I please. So here's the points I want you to write down. I'm almost done. Write it down. God completed you before he created you. Touch yourself, say, I'm finished. Say, I'm complete. All you got to do now is begin to live the life he created for you. All right. I was talking to someone once. I said, how you doing? I'm just trying to make it. You have no authority to do that. That's what I said to him. You have no authority. You should be living the life God made for you. We gotta stop again that binding to carnality. Listen, that person heard somebody else say that, and that's a response to when things are hard. So they say it because they heard it. So you got, again, you gotta change your language because the end is in your mouth. You already created. And every day you ought to be saying, I am what God says I am. And then you ought to get some clarity about what that is and start saying that. You need to get comfortable saying, I'm a multimillionaire. You need to get comfortable saying, I'm a billionaire. Get comfortable saying, I walk in power. I walk in the anointing. I am full of purpose. I will complete my assignment on earth. You got to start saying it. So that you can live it. Write this down, here we go. The fact that you were created, fact that you are here, is proof that you're already complete. Because somebody might say, how— well, Apostle, how do you know I'm complete? Well, your heartbeat, ain't it? The fact you have life is proof that you are already finished. And guess what? If you die in the process, if something— if you quit and you die before you get there, that's murder. It doesn't even have to happen with a gun. You can kill yourself with food, kill yourself— oh boy— kill yourself with the wrong relationships. It's suicide to not expose yourself to life-giving things that will help the vision come to pass. Yes, many people have died prematurely with all this vision in them that never came to fruition because they were murdered. Their life was cut off too early. We got to stop saying, well, God took them. Some people were murdered. 'Cause God has a lifespan already planned. Watch this, your time, your life, your birth certificate is your time clock that clocks you into life. And in this space, God created for you to do your time in eternity. And fulfill purpose. And then when you die, you should be finished. Amen. Touch yourself. Say, I can't die, can't die until I'm finished. Finished. Yeah. Which brings to the next point. Write it down. You were designed to perfectly accomplish your purpose. You ain't got to change for nobody. Are y'all hearing this? You meet folk to go try and change you. I met a guy and all he did was complain about how much weight his wife was gaining. Man, she need to go to the gym. She didn't stop eating this. She didn't stop doing this. And I just got tired of it. And y'all know me, I'm just gonna tell the truth. I said, dude, maybe if you went with her, she might go. 'Cause truth be told, you bigger than her. How you gonna be complaining about her weight and you wobbling around here? Are y'all hearing this? Come on, man, listen. The reality is that lady was miserable because all he did was complain. She eventually left him, was compl— and she happy she want to be now. Cuz she living with somebody that is complaining about who she is. That's how God made her. Her bones is big, that's how God made her. And you, you cannot— if you little bone to big bone, celebrate that. I told a skinny woman one time, I said, you can't do nothing for me but show me somebody that's bigger than you. Y'all hearing this? I'm just saying, that was way back when, okay? But I'm trying to tell you, just be you, 'cause some people like a Coca-Cola bottle, some people like a 2-liter, and you ain't got to change for nobody. Are y'all with me? If you are losing weight, do it for yourself. I don't even know how I got on that. Yeah, I know where I was at. You're perfectly designed for who you are. Don't change how you dress, how you look, if they can't take you how you are, are y'all— they not the one for you. Glory to God. That's why, you know, I'm, I'm never going to try to blend into society. Every Sunday I come in here looking like a cool youth pastor because I'm dressed with jeans. I'm not going to do that all the time. I'm 60, I'm almost 60 years old. I'm going to dress like I'm 60. I've been dressing like this all my life, and y'all can dress how you want, but I'm not gonna change cause y'all don't dress up. Are y'all hearing this? I'm gonna be me, and I'm not gonna be mad at you if you wear your jeans and t-shirt, but don't be tripping cause you see me with a suit on every now and then, all right? Because some of you got issues, I'm just gonna tell you. But you can't even hear the word because Apostle dressed up. What? You should be— listen, be— I'm all I'm saying is be you. There's only one you, and when God comes looking to use you, he gonna be looking for you. Not the counterfeit you created to please people. Okay, glory to God. I, I don't know how to do nothing but be me, so you gotta like it or lump it. I'm just saying, because being fake is, is Not only is it exhausting and hard work, it's actually ungodly. It's inauthentic. Are y'all hearing this? Okay, say, I'm perfect for who God needs me to be. Say this, say, I have everything I need to be who I am. You know what that means? You ain't got to borrow nobody anointing. You ain't got to copycat. You ain't got to be out here trying to act like Jake's talking about, get ready, get ready. You ain't got to do none of that. You got everything you need. Almost done. Write this down. When you know and understand what you were born to accomplish Write it down. When you know and understand what you were born to accomplish— watch this— that's vision, that's purpose. When you can perceive it in your mind by faith that this really belongs to me, that's purpose. I'm gonna cover this part of it tonight, but I'm gonna hit it here. Ownership precedes occupancy. You gotta own it in the vision realm before you occupy it in the physical realm. I'm gonna say that one more time. Ownership precedes occupancy. You gotta own it in the dimension of the spirit And there's a dimension in the spirit called the vision dimension. You gotta tap into the place where God has already produced this thing. Own it as yours and you'll occupy it in the now. But watch this, and I'm gonna cover this tonight. There could be no occupancy without opposition. The moment you see it for real, You're going to be opposed. I know we, we say, I signed up for this life where I have blessing, blessing, blessing. No, now I want to fight. I want to have no warfare. Yeah, it's coming because you can see the enemy is threatened. All right, write this down. Vision— here we go— is foresight with insight based on hindsight. Vision is foresight with insight based on hindsight. Let's break that down. So vision is foresight. It's what's in the future. It's the prophetic revelation that you can see that belongs to you, right? But it is also insight. As you see it afar off, you gotta marry it, and you gotta look at it every day and allow it to live in you. And it's based on hindsight— what God already saw. Are y'all hearing this? Y'all got it? Write this down. Vision— here we go— isn't about us. It's about God and his purpose. Touch yourself, say, it ain't about me. Come on, say it. Say, it's not about me, it's about God. This is how you release God's hand, the source. He's the source of provision. When you realize it ain't about you, many a time the source steps back and says, okay, if you want it to be about you, I'm gonna let you provide for it. But if you yield I said, God, it's all you. He'll provide. He'll release what belongs inside of the vision. Write this down. You already know your vision. It is as close as your most persistent thoughts and deepest desires. Because you may be saying, Lord, what's my purpose? What is my vision? What are your most persistent thoughts? What are your deepest desires? What placates you? What stimulates you? What do you want to change? When you look at the world, what gets you all wound up that you want to shift and make a difference in? Many a time, that's an indication to your purpose and your vision. I know I'm called to leaders. I'm called to entrepreneurs. I'm called to help people become better at who they were called to do. And I understand clearly that everything in my vision has to tie into that. What do you see? Write it down. To have vision is more than an interest in something. Is to have a real desire and passion for it. Passion is the driving force behind anything. So you can't just be interested in doing it, you got to have a desire and passion to do it. That way, when it gets hard, you won't quit. Are y'all here? Because there'll be days you're gonna want to quit. Okay, let me just talk about me. There are days I want to quit. Are y'all hearing this? Because I'm human. Are y'all with me? But it's the vision and the passion in my heart for it out of obedience that keeps me going. It's my love for what God says and the people he's connected to what he said, that regardless of what's going on, I keep going. Are y'all hearing this? So it's not just to be— I'm not just interested in teaching and preaching. I have a passion for helping people. That's why I keep going. Are y'all here? Write it down: vision persists no matter what the odds. Good God. So no matter how hard it gets, the vision don't lie. Matter of fact, Rebecca too said, though it tarry, wait. For it shall speak and not lie. So the vision's coming as long as you stand. So you can't let the odds make you not want to do it. Are y'all hearing this? You better believe every day there are things that come up that make me feel like, okay, well, maybe we Shouldn't try to build this Rada City. Maybe we shouldn't try to buy this building. But the vision is going to stand against the odds if I align with it and stand. Are y'all hearing this? Vision— write it down— is unselfish. It's again, it never regards itself. Or the visionary. It's about the vision, because the vision is from God. Write this down: vision is the only thing that brings true fulfillment. You can try so many other things outside of vision. And they may satisfy you temporarily, but the only thing that's really going to bring fulfillment in your life is vision from God. That's why some of you working on these jobs, you be mad all day because it ain't God's vision for your life. You just doing it as a temporary means to get a paycheck. Are y'all hearing this? But you got to find God and walk out his vision because he's a source of vision. And if you start walking in vision, he will provide. I'm not just saying that, I'm a witness. Out of the 8 churches I planted I've only had one that really grew really big, big. But out of all them churches, God's always provided. He's always took care of me because he made me a promise. If I take care of his business, he gonna take care of mine. That's what I stand on. He said, if you go in the vineyard and work what's right, I pay. So I get up and work every day like I'm leading a church with 10,000 people. That's how I work. That's my ethic. I work every day like I'm operating a ministry that has leaders connected to me from all over the world in the multiple thousands when there are only a few hundred. You know why? Because I believe in vision. I believe if I work the vision, the pro will come. You can't sleep till 12 talking about you're a visionary. Sleep is for punks when you're trying to build vision. Are y'all hearing this? When you're trying to build something, my wife has to fuss me into bed most of the time. She complains a lot about me not going to bed. She'd be like, "Well, if you just close your eyes." But the reality is visionaries are always working. Are y'all hearing this? 'Cause we gonna work until we see it. Are y'all with me? And you're right, rest is important. But I be asking God supernaturally, give me rest, Jesus. Because if he talking to me, I need to listen. And if he choose to talk at 2 AM, are y'all hearing this? I need to listen at 2 AM. Are y'all with me? Write it down. Vision requires a vital connection with God. So here's where a lot of people miss the fulfillment, because they don't spend time with the Lord, and he's the source. Are y'all hearing this? We'll get a vision and start trying to understand it in the carnality. That we've been getting. Let me tell you something, God is better than YouTube. He real, for real. He's better than Facebook posts. He's better than you scrolling trying to get answers. Watch this, God was here before Google. He was here before AI. He knows more about his vision than AI will ever know. Are y'all hearing this? But you need a vital connection with him. I'm almost done. Write it down: personal vision is often discovered are you ready for this one? Within a larger corporate vision. Many a time people think they can be an island to fulfill vision, and you cannot. We need each other. And when vision comes forth in the kingdom, We should all be working together to help each other bring vision to pass. I'm not even just talking about in this room, because we do know the kingdom is larger than this room. But the kingdom is divided because there are a lot of people who get personal visions and they don't equate it to the corporate vision of the kingdom. I look at it like this. If God gives you a grace— and I, I'll reference this again— to do $40 million a week, you should, as a ministry, as a kingdom ministry— and there's a ministry in this city that does $40 million a week, it's public information, that's $160 million a month— there ought to be some burden to create an ecosystem that helps other people in the kingdom fulfill vision. Question becomes, why you need 2 jets? Why you need 4 Bentleys? I'm just saying, you can't drive on one. Amen. 'Cause the personal vision becomes a kingdom to themselves. God gives that grace so we can share it. I told God, give me $40 million a week. I'm one week out of the month, every month of the year for 12 months, I'm gonna give away $40 million. I'm gonna bless 40 entrepreneurs/ministries to help them do what they're called to do. Are y'all hearing this? Because we ought to be being fruitful and multiplied. Another message for another day. Are y'all with me? Y'all getting something out of this? Write it down, I'm almost done. Those who are in the same corporate vision must work harmoniously to bring it to pass. So those of us that find ourselves in the same kingdom with visions from God, we should all work in unity and harmony to bring God's vision to pass. Almost done, y'all. The leader of a corporate vision— write it down— should draw out— here we go— the personal visions of the group by assisting them in activating their gifts, their dreams, and their passions. I say it again, the leader of a corporate vision should pull out, draw out the passions, the dreams the skills, the abilities of the people in the group and help them activate that. You should not— if you got a vision, you don't need to be in a church that don't have no vision, and you definitely don't need to be hanging around friends that don't have vision. Are y'all hearing this? Because you, you need to be connected to things that's stirring up where you trying to go. You shouldn't waste your money or time going to conferences that will not speak directly to your vision. That's why I take my time and I try to teach y'all, because I really want to see you fulfill vision. Last one. And we're gonna go home. Vision generates vision. I'm gonna say it again. Vision generates vision. Ever notice if you get around some other creative folk who have vision, who want something and y'all start talking about what God is doing in your life, something in you gets stirred up. That's why I don't hang out with people who are negative. I don't spend— listen, the moment I see that thing going left, I— it was great seeing you, good talking to you, I'm out. Y'all ain't got to say nothing because my vision needs gas. Oh, shabandi asa. Just rub your belly and say, my vision needs gas. I need somebody to speak into me, telling me, man, you can do this. I don't need to hear you can't do it. You ain't got enough people. You ain't got enough money. Ain't no way. God said that. No, I need to hear people say God is able. And what God said he's gonna do, he's gonna do. Because vision generates vision. Watch this. Your best gifts, abilities, and talents are gonna surface in the presence of extraordinary people. I'm gonna say that one more time. Your best gifts and talents are gonna surface in the presence of extraordinary people. People. I'm done. You need to hang out with extraordinary folk. You need to find you some people that's got 16x20 ideas like you, cuz you can't fit a 16x20 idea in a 3x5 mind. You sitting trying to put your 16x20 vision in their 3x5 mind, it ain't going to fit. You're gonna always be frustrated trying to tell this person what God is telling you to do. You need to find you some other visionaries because vision produces vision. You can play softly, Pastor. I'm done. Everybody stand. Y'all stand. Glory to God. I pray you learned something today. Y'all learn something. Hallelujah. We're gonna say some of this out loud because you can have what you say. Thank you, Lord. I'm gonna let you go and get you out of here because I want you to come back tonight. Glory to God. Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, say, I receive the word and I renounce carnal thinking. I decree and declare that the carnal mind, according to your word, is an enemy— no music, Pastor— against God. Say, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that your word rests heavy in me, saying I'm a spiritual person. I walk in the spirit, that I will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Say, I decree and declare that my mind is in you, because your word said, let the same mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. Say, I decree and declare I have the mind of Christ, and because of this, I have no limits. Say, nothing is above my head. I can go as high as I want to. Say, my vision was decided before I was born. Say, thank you, Jesus, that you've declared the end from the beginning, and I'm in the process. I receive the process. Say, thank you, Lord, for qualifying me for where you're taking me. Say, I decree and declare your vision, your purpose, your plans, your dreams for my life are closer than I think. Say, I declare now that is at my fingertips. Say, my worst days are over. Say, I have stepped into the best days of my life. Say, in Jesus' name, I decree and declare. Lord, I feel you here, that your power and your resources are working through me and my vision shall not lack. Say, in the name of Jesus, I have everything I need. I have everything I desire. What you said in my life will come to pass. Say, Lord, open my eyes so I can see the drama So I can see the production that you're creating with my life, and I declare your vision will manifest and the world will see your hand on my life. In Jesus' name, it is so. If you believe it, Clap your hands and thank God for vision. Come on, shout in this place. I need the visionaries to shout in this place. The 16x20 folk, to open your mouth. Your vision is not dead. Your vision is alive, and God is the source. And the provider of what he has declared. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Shikota mamandete baya! Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Jesus!
