Vision and Purpose | Dr Mike Woods SR | 10 May 2026

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that vision is prophetic perception from the heart, not physical sight, and that purpose is God's original intent for your creation that must be discovered through relationship with him. Without vision you get hopelessness and stagnation; with it, hope sustains you through suffering and energizes faith.
Chapters
How good did they? Amen. Glory to God. Hallelujah. This morning, and this is not a Mother's Day message, sorry, but we're going to share with us, said the Lord. Amen. It's important that we start talking about vision. Somebody say vision. Vision. Because of where God is taking us, um, we got to buy in not only to the vision of the church but the vision for our personal lives. The vision for your personal life is what creates provision. A lot of times we lack provision because we don't have vision from God. And so we want to talk about getting clear vision this morning so that your life can mean something. Hallelujah. Um, I'm excited because God has trusted us with vision. Amen. And we're going to see in a moment, you know, there are some people that, you know, they just live by sight and not vision, and that's no way to live. Glory to God. So this morning we're talking about purpose and vision. I want to welcome our live audience. Glory to God. Y'all give God praise for them. Thank God. Hallelujah. For those of you that are watching us who are streaming the 3 Facebook pages, YouTube this morning, so wherever you're watching, welcome. Stay with us. Glory to God. I promise, uh, this message will be life-changing. All right, let's just jump into this. Um, glory to God. Let's first get a working definition, and we're gonna put some scripture in here as we go, of vision. Somebody say vision. Say purpose. Glory to God. So here's— here we go. Vision is from the Hebrew word, and it's up there if you want to write it down, qalzon, and it is prophetic perception. Say that with me. Say prophetic perception. It's revelation. It's the ability to dream or an oracle. Watch this, that's beyond this realm. So you can receive a word from another world that formulates vision in your life. Now let me, let me just help for a moment. It doesn't even have to be God that speaks because the spirit realm is real. So a familiar spirit can speak to you. A devil can speak to you. Someone who has no authority to speak into your life can speak to you. Are y'all hearing this? And you can begin to formulate that as vision, as a way of life, and then you start living like that. And your life is stuck. Are y'all hearing this? Well, I'm telling you right now, every person in this room— and we're going to learn this in a moment— you were created with a vision from God for your life. Vision is also to perceptively see, to see with perception, to perceive. Watch this, with purpose to see things as God sees them. Gentlemen, if you could take monitor 1 down some, that, that'll be good. That's where that big bass is coming from. Say, I want to see my life. Come on, say it. And myself the way God sees me. Because a lot of time, Prophet, what people have done with We have formulated how we live based on other people's perception or their vision of us. Growing up, your daddy say, you ain't gonna never be nothing, you just so sorry, no good. And you accepted that as a word curse, okay? And then now you, you don't even realize it, subconsciously you're walking out your life through a word curse that was spoken over your life, and that's not the will of God. Are y'all here? All right, let's go, Mario, next slide. I want them to see this. So sight then is a matter of the eyes. Vision is a matter of the heart. Everybody in here can see with their eyes. It's a physical apparatus where if you got sight, you could see what's in front of you. Are y'all hearing this? But everybody doesn't have vision because vision is a matter of the heart. Not the heart that's 6 inches below your collarbone, but the heart, which is the kardia in Greek. And the kardia is where we get words like cardiovascular, which lends to your heart. Oh, I know how to do this. Listen, so stay with me. Glory to God. Don't get it too I know what I'm doing. The reality is, um, there is a heart in the second dimension of the spirit. Glory to the name of God, that God speaks to us in the invisible realm. And it's not this thing that beats. Matter of fact, can I tell you that heart in the second dimension of your lifespan is the one that causes the physical heart to beat? Never. You think you're living on your own. You are not. You are alive because you are a trichotomy. Your body, your soul, your spirit. Now your body, watch this, it is lifeless without soul and spirit. They're the things in the invisible realm are what make the things in the physical seen realm exist. Watch this, the spirit, wah God, is what gives you life. Oh God, it's the pneuma, it's the God-breathed life in you. I says whether you're saved or not, God is responsible for your breath. He lets you live because you have purpose. He lets you live because he still has plans for you. And then what he does, he creates an invisible heart, which again is the cardia, it's the soul, it's the mind, the will, the emotions, is where you taste, it's where you touch. Watch this, the— your ability to feel something comes from an invisible place. Oh God, it's not from some— because watch this, when you die, it's not because your body just stopped, it's because your soul and spirit left and it has no more source to function from. And so vision now has to come through The heart has to come through the soul. God in the spirit speaks to your heart, and then you begin to see it with your physical eyes. I gave this example last week. I could take your brain out of your head. That brain is a body part, but you cannot see your thoughts. Come on, come on. If you've come up with that, you automatically a billionaire if you find out How to see your thoughts? You need to put it in a bottle and settle it so people can see their thoughts. You can't see them, they're invisible, but they're there. The brain is only a house for where your thoughts live. Your body is a house for where God's will is carried out. And his vision is carried out. It's invisible. So we have to tap into the invisible realm. Are y'all hearing this? So sight is a matter of our eyes, vision is a matter of heart. Now here's the tragedy. Next slide. Here's the tragedy right here. The most tragic and pathetic thing on earth is to have sight and no vision. Okay, and this is most of the world. Most people can see, but they have no vision that comes from another world. And we're going to talk about how to get that today. So let's get some quick facts here about vision. Glory to God. First thing, vision is a source of hope and life. Say that with me. Say, vision is a source of hope and life. When people start saying they're giving up and they don't want to do it anymore and they're suicidal, they're depressed, it's because they have no vision. Because vision will always give you hope for the future. Watch this, it'll always give you assurance that the way it is right now is not the way it's going to be. It always gives you the assurance that something more is available for me. Say that with me, say it again. Say, "Vision is a source of hope." And life. Number 2, write it down. Vision makes disappointment and suffering bearable. So when you get disappointed or something hits your life, if you got a vision, you understand what hit your life is temporary. You understand, glory to God, that that thing won't be that way always. Matter of fact, let me just preach to somebody right here. Wherever you are right now, I want to tell you, it won't be that way always. What gives you the ability to get through it is a vision that things are going to get better. That I'm not going to be stuck in this place. The reason people can't bear suffering, because they have no prophetic utterance or revelation or vision for the future. Number 3, vision. Oh boy, here we go. Inspires work. See, if you don't have a vision You're not gonna work 'cause you have nothing to look forward to. You're not gonna buy into something bigger than your circumstance. Most lazy people lack vision. Let me tell you something, every person has an equal playing field in the world. You and I have the same amount of time every day. My success may be different than yours, But many a time, the common denominator is how I work versus how you work, or how— or not even me, the next person. Glory to the name. Work is the common denominator to all vision manifesting. As a matter of fact, only place success comes before work is in the dictionary. Yes, success starts with an S. Okay, yeah, some of y'all. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. You didn't have to go to Harvard to know that one. Third grade, yeah, probably before third. Glory to God. Listen, say vision inspires work. Vision inspires work. All right, next one. We going to get through these. Vision energizes your faith. It tells you I can believe in what I cannot see. Watch this. Faith is a substance of things hoped for, Hebrews 11:1, and the evidence of things not seen. Watch this. Not seen with your natural eyes, but when you tap into vision, your faith now can believe that God is going to bring to pass what your physical eyes cannot tangibly behold. Oh God, let me tell you what energizes my faith to keep going and do what God— we got this contract on this million-dollar building. My faith is energized. I don't look at what's going on in here. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. I've seen what God sees. Are y'all with me? I know what God said. And so my faith is to trust him to do his part to bring, watch this, his vision to pass. Say that with me, say vision energizes faith. Vision energizes faith. All right, number 5, vision is God's optimal reality for your future. Oh boy, take a picture of that slide, write it down or something, 'cause you're gonna wanna remember that. Optimal reality for your future. Notice the operative word here is God's optimal reality. So I wanna dismiss something for, 'cause this is introduction before we really get in the meat of this. Vision has nothing to do with what you personally want. Vision says, I give you life, you fulfill my purpose. God says, I'm gonna let you live, you do what I say. Now there's some people that's gonna totally reject that, but your life stays hard. Are y'all hearing this? There's some people that will resist that, but your life stays stuck. Hey, Tiffany, listen, vision creates God's reality for the world to see. See, when God gives you vision, now the world can see his plan working through you. And you have to be willing to let him get the glory out of your life like this, because vision is not about us, it's about him. Oh my God, listen, there are things I know I want to do, but I have to not do them because they don't align with purpose and vision. So this means that vision then becomes a source of personal hope and discipline. So when I hope in what God says for me, I discipline myself to bring it to pass. Go to Proverbs 19:21. Let's go. We'll start right there, then we'll go to it. Inside of each human There's a vision that is designed by God to give life purpose and meaning. Say that with me. Say, I got reason. Say, my life means something. You know why it does? Because inside of your design is purpose and meaning. There's a unique, authentic you. You are different than anybody else. That's why you shouldn't waste your time trying to be somebody else, trying to act like someone else, trying to sound like someone else, trying to copy someone else. You gotta find your own flavor, your own swag, your own spice, your own life. You know what? Because the world needs you. Oh God, they don't need a cheap copy of somebody else. Say that with me, say my life has meaning. You were born with it. I want y'all to grab this this morning because we can't— that's why this is the first part of this series. We can't really tap into God's vision until we understand the meaning for our life. Go to Proverbs 19:21. I'm— it's— that's the King James up there, but I'm gonna read it out of NIV. It says, there are many plans in a man's heart, nevertheless the purpose of the Lord that shall stand. So let me tell you something, everybody in here has a lot of plans. There it is there, and, and it's so true. There are a lot of things we can do and want to do. Are y'all hearing this? Watch it, there's a lot of things we got abilities to do, but doesn't mean we should be doing it. Because according to this, the only thing that works is the purpose of the Lord. So that's why we can be going in circles trying to get something done and it doesn't work. And we'll be praying for God's assistance on it, and God says, no, I can't assist you with that because that never was me. God have mercy. It ain't that God don't hear you, it just ain't aligned with his plan. Oh boy, here we go. Because the purpose of God stands. This is why you see people start stuff and they fail, because that maybe there wasn't purpose there. Or they'll marry someone and they end up in divorce. My Lord. Purpose. That's why you should marry for purpose, uh, not for hips, tips, fingertips. You should marry for purpose, cuz they can be fine as wine, fine as Beyoncé. You only got to— somebody say, how— why he say that? 'Cause that's the truth. The reality, that's the truth. Come on, man. My wife know that's the truth. My eyes work. Y'all, you're hearing this? I'm saved, but my eyes work. Okay, y'all say, okay, this is what, where am I at? This is church. Yeah, this is just keeping it 100. I mean, I ain't lusting, but I see. But what you have to do is get vision and learn to slip past the body and get in the heart and the purpose. Cause you can have someone fine and then they end up like Lorena Bobbitt. Oh, y'all not talking. Somebody don't— okay. I bet he wish he would have slipped past out of case. Okay, you need to marry for purpose, someone that— I don't even know why I'm here— someone that complements who you are. So I think I need to help you understand purpose for a moment. So number 1, write this down. This ain't even in the notes. Write it down. Purpose is the original intent for the creation of a thing. It's why it was created. So you and I was created by God for an original authentic intent. Say that with me, say purpose is the original intent for the creation of a thing, of me, of my life. So here we go. God has an original version of you. Say, I am original. Say, I'm authentic. Now, that's why you have to spend time with your manufacturer so you can understand what he created. Most of the time we become other versions of what his version is because we have not talked to him. Because remember, nevertheless, the purpose of the Lord Stands. Not my purpose, of the Lord stands. So I need to talk to the Lord about why I'm here so I can get clarity. So you won't live another version of who you are. That's called perversion. Perversion ain't just man on man, woman on woman. Perversion is to create another version of the authentic. Now, man on man is perverted, woman on woman is perverted, but when you're living a life as another person, you're also perverted. They got this thing out now called Ozempic, and it's supposed to curb your appetite, help you lose weight. Not against it if that's what you're doing, know what you're doing, right? But I got a problem when there are people on spiritual Ozempic. Listen to this, where your appetite for the things of God and his presence and his word is being curved because you're tapping into a familiar dimension that makes you comfortable with a version of yourself. Oh my God, that God did not ordain. Are y'all hearing this? You gotta, you gotta unplug from that dimension that's curbing your appetite for God and his plan. If you're losing hunger for the things of God, you'll never know your purpose. Are y'all hearing this? Watch this, you're made on purpose with a purpose. Say that, women. Say, I'm made on purpose with purpose. Jeremiah 1:5, I don't have it, Mario, but it says this, before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. I gave you purpose. I gave you a plan. I gave an order and a structure to your life before you got in your mama's belly. So can I submit to you this morning, you're not a mistake. There's no oops. You're not junk. You're not a flop. You're supposed to be here. Are y'all hearing this? Touch yourself, say, I'm supposed to be here. I'm supposed to be here. Most humans, for real, have no idea what their purpose is. And because of this, they abuse their lives. Because where purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. If you don't know the purpose of something, you're going to abuse it. That's called abnormal use. That's abuse. Abuse. Abnormal use. You start using your life outside of the will of God. And I'm not— again, I'm not just talking about sin as we think. I'm talking about living a life. You can be the most morally perfect person and still in sin because you're not walking out purpose. Oh, because sin is from the Greek word hermēsia, which means to miss the mark. Last one about this and we're gonna move. Your purpose is never your decision, it's your discovery. Okay, let me work on that a minute. You don't get to decide purpose, it's the purpose of the Lord. Are y'all here? Are you hearing this? You discover what he already decided. See, you won't discover that if you don't seek him. It's in his mind. If you listen, I— so when I first bought a flat TV a long time ago, I had no idea how to make this thing work, right? Going from fat-back TV, growing up with a TV with antennas and aluminum foil on the end. Y'all remember that? Times change. Went from fat back to flat. Put the plasma up, turn it on, screen was blue. Was no rabbit ears in the box. So I'm saying, how to get this thing to work? Holy Spirit said, pick up the manual. The manufacturer sent a manual. I read the manufacturer's instructions and got the TV working. Are y'all hearing this? Your life has a manufacturer. It's God. You need to speak to him and talk to him about how to get your life working properly. Are y'all with me this morning? So how do we collaborate vision and purpose? Go to Romans 8:28. Almost through. Glory to God. The Bible says, and we know that all things— somebody say all things— work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. There it is, propos in Greek, that which he has proposed. So God has proposed the plan, which means he will not force the fulfillment of purpose on you. Purpose is in you, is for you, but it is a proposal. Ah, the word according is symphaneo in Greek, which is where we get words like symphony. Say that with me, say symphaneo. You look at a symphony, there are all kinds of instruments. There are brass, there are woodwinds, there are strings, there are percussions. Watch this, they all sound different, all have different sounds. But if the conductor says, play this piece in C— are y'all hearing this? There's a chord. Just play in the key of C in a chord, Pastor Jeffrey. That's a beautiful melodious sound because it's according to purpose. He says, we know. The word know is orda in Greek. That word means absolute or exact knowledge. I'm going somewhere, please help me. Glory to God, I'm gonna be there in a moment. 1 1 is 2. That's absolute. You can't change that no matter how hard you try. You can go to Harvard, Yale, Cornell, get degrees from everywhere, you will never be able to change 1 1 is 2. It's absolute knowledge. Watch this. He said, and we know, we have absolute knowledge that everything we go through— remember I told you purpose and vision gives you hope— that everything we go through is going to work together. Together, some plural in Greek. This means that your test, your trauma, your pain, your good days, your bad days, they employ themselves with God. To produce good. Are y'all with me? So no matter what you're going through, some good is going to come out of it. I need you to say that with me. Say, no matter where I am right now, say, some good is coming out of this. I'm telling you, this— you may not see it right now, but this thing is working together. Your heart may be broken, tears in your eyes, can't sleep at night, crying to go to sleep, crying when you wake up. But God said, if you keep operating according to purpose and vision, this thing is going to work together and produce good. Hold it, Pastor, hold it. Say good. The word good, banah, means profit. Not a prophet that prophesies. P-R-O-F-I-T, profit. So ask a businessman to define profit. He's going to tell you what's left over after the expenses of the business have been paid and covered. So God said, now you're going through this, you got all this hell in your life, you got ups and you got downs, but if you keep moving with me, you're gonna get some profit out of this struggle. You're gonna get some profit out of what you're going through. I need you to touch yourself, say, I got some profit coming. Well, matter of fact, another way to look at it is change coming back to you. A lot of people don't pay with cash much anymore, but if you go to a register with cash, most of the time you're not going to have the exact number. So if your bill is $19 and 10 cents, and you give the lady a $20, you stand there. As little as that 90 cents is, you want your 90 cents. Are y'all hearing this? Hey, listen, I'm not giving y'all no more than what this cost. I want 90. I want my 90 cents. Are y'all hearing this? You wait because you understand I got change coming back. Are y'all hearing this? Can I submit to you, some of you have left the altar too fast. You gave up on God too quick. Are y'all hearing this? And God says, you got change coming. You got profit coming, but you gotta keep going through because this thing is about to work together for your good. Don't give up before— oh my God— before God gives you your change. Just like you wait on that 90 cent, wait for God to turn this thing all the way around. I heard the songwriter say, don't give up on God because he won't give up on you. You got to make up in your mind God's about to turn this thing all the way around. I wish I could preach to somebody that's been waiting on prophet that's been waiting on change, I need you to rap back and say, change is coming! Somebody catch that in a minute. God's about to turn it around. He's about to create a new day. He's about to turn your money around. He's about to turn your children around. I don't know, maybe somebody online He's about to turn your health around. Don't you give up on God. God can heal that cancer. God can heal that diabetes. God can heal that high blood pressure. Don't give up on God because he's about to turn it around. I wish somebody would praise him for the turn, the turn, the turn. Come on, you ain't praising him. Open your mouth. And thank God for the turn. Your money is turning, your children is turning, your health is turning. The turn, the turn, the turn, the turn, it's turning around. I'm telling you, I believe God, Pastor Jeffrey. I believe God, the turn is coming in your house, in your finances, in your career, in your business. It's turning, it's turning, it's turning, it's turning, it's turning. I got to go. Okay, you're set. Thank you, God. Eh, come! Eh, come to Mosiah! Ah, glory! And we know, and we know. I'm not guessing about this thing. I know, I know, I know. I'm not trying to figure it out. I know. Glory to God. You got to get a knowing in your spirit. That it won't be this way always. There's gonna be a brighter day. God's gonna work this thing out for me. I'm telling you, you got to know it. Shekatavasa. I don't know, but you ought to get tired of the cycle. You ought to get tired of things being the same way. You ought to get tired of going through things year after year, day after day. But God says it's turning for you. It's turning for your good. Your best days are not coming. Your best days are here. I wish I had 3 people to give God praise because your best days are here right now. Come on! Yeah, taba! Yes, God! Y'all see, they work together, together, together. For good, for profit, to them that love God. It's interesting how this is the etymology of the word. The verbiage is interesting because love here is agaphos, and it's where we get words like agape, which is unconditional God says it's gonna work together for good to them that love me like I love them. You can't have conditional love for God and expect things to work for your good. You gotta love him Cuz people make this one side, well, God loves me. Yeah, but if you want stuff to work for your good, he do love you. He's saying you got to love him like he love you. You can't love God just when he blessing you. You can't love God just when you got money. And everything's good. You got to know he's God in the good days and the bad days, the hard times and the rough times. You got to know he's God. Because I know when you're going through, it gets tempting to pout and have an attitude with God. God, you see me? Why? You got me here and why won't you bring me out now? God said, did I not love you while you were yet a sinner? Did I not die for you while you were yet struggling? Did I not give you grace when you didn't deserve grace? And here it is, I'm not moving as fast as you think I ought to be moving. And you pouting and got an attitude and got the unmitigated gall not to worship. Not to praise like I owe you something. God said, if you want this thing to work out, you got to love me like I love you. That just killed 2,000 years of theology because the church has majored on how much God loves us. But God says, I want the same love back. He told the church at Ephesus in Revelation, return to repent and do your first work over. Turn to your first love. You can't just walk around here and do what you want to do and be rebellious and be disobedient and think you're entitled to the blessing of God. We got to stop preaching blessing, blessing, blessing, and people are still just operating as a heathen, living like— oh my God, they want to live doing what they want to do, acting like Adam, the old man. No ma'am, no sir, we got to express our love to God. So that love, I'm gonna leave that alone. And are called. These are the prerequisites for it to work out. Every one of you are called with purpose. The according to, the symphonyo. Means that you are in accord with the purpose. Play that in the key of C again, Pastor. That's a C, E, and a G. Just play it in accord. Just play it. Just keep playing it. A beautiful medley in C. Y'all hear how beautiful that sound? That's— that your life should be this peaceful. Your life should be without tension and stress. It should be a flow, an exchange between heaven and earth, because you're walking out vision. But many people are not living according to purpose, they're in discord. So Pastor, play a C, let's see, a E-flat, an F, and an A. Keep doing it. That's discord. That's discord. And that's how many people's life sound? Keep playing it, Pastor. Full of tension, full of worry, full of anguish, full of doubt, full of fear. No joy, no peace, mad at the world, just angry, and don't love nobody and care about nobody. But God says, I want to move you from discord to accord. Take me back to C. I want to take you to peace in the midst of the storm. I want to take you to joy when you don't feel like having joy. I want to take you to a place where you can rejoice at all times because he's King and he's God. I want to take you to a place where my purpose is clear and things are being fulfilled and doors are being open and you're living in the realm of heaven and my glory is feel in your life. I want to move you from discord to accord where you are aligned with my purpose. I need about 5 people that are aligned and say, God, I want everything you got, to open your mouth and just begin to worship him right where you are. God is moving the discord, he's moving the tension He's moving the pain, he's moving the broken place, and he's healing you. He's delivering you, he's lifting you higher. Open your mouth. Hallelujah. Thank you for peace. God, just lift your hands a few moments. I hear the Lord saying worship right here, just a few moments. Worship him for peace, for accord in your life, because you align with his purpose, you align with his plan. We give you the glory, God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. We give you praise, God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. All right, we're going to Finish. I'm going to finish. God is so good. I feel him in this place. Proverbs 29:18. The Bible says where there's no vision— remember, vision is harzon or qalzon in Hebrew. It's prophetic revelation. It's oracle from another world. It's the ability to dream in the dream dimension. It's the ability to dream with God. Yes, yes. So here's the essence. I must become a person that dreams with God. Yes. I can't do that without purpose. Yes. Because purpose is his dream. Yes. Anything outside of that, It's not vision, it's division. Division is two visions. So if I'm living outside of what God has dreamed, I am now divided from him. Help the church, Lord. Because we have fostered our own sense of vision, our own sense of life. God says we must dream through his dream, because when we don't, we perish. Oh, you can't perish except you are separated from God. Sin separates. Coming short separates. Again, we ain't just talking about adultery, lying, smoking, drinking. We talking about not living on purpose, because you can be doing all— everything you think is right and still perishing because you ain't operating under the banner of vision. Many have died prematurely because where there's vision— I said earlier, there's life. When you lose purpose and your mind becomes reprobate, where you won't serve the purpose of God, he'll cut the work off in righteousness. And this is why you see people dying Are y'all hearing this? Because vision was in front of them and God cut it off in righteousness to keep them from suffering. Are y'all hearing this? Your vision keeps you alive. Purpose keeps you alive. The word perish there in Hebrew means that you die slowly because you lost control. where there's no vision, the people are out of control. Look at our earth today. This foolishness is out of control. More murders than ever. Are y'all hearing this? More injustice. You, you don't even see it publicized, but it's just as much racism in our country right now as it was in the '60s and '70s. They just ain't reporting it out. They show you what they want you to see because we've lost control, because the church is in a corner jumping and shouting and speaking in tongues with no vision to change the world. Preachers are majoring on how popular they can get. Trying to gather people in the building when we need to be showing up in the world. Oh my God, because there are people that need what we carry. So the world now is out of control because everybody wants to preach, everybody wants to prophesy, everybody wants to be an apostle, a prophet, a pastor, a teacher. And now the world's out of control because nobody understands that they need to be showing up as an entrepreneur. They need to be showing up as a lawyer, a doctor. They need to be showing up, glory to the name of God, as people that can show up in politics and lobby us to change the trajectory of law in America. There are more things we ought to be doing in the kingdom other than being in the church trying to get rank in the church. He said, he that keeps the law, happy is he. So no vision, the people perish. But the law is centered around the vision. It's kingdom law, okay? There are kingdom laws that govern the kingdom of God. Every kingdom or nation has what is called a constitution. The Constitution spells out the laws of that nation. Our Constitution is the Bible, okay? We can't change this, right? See, there are people out there— I talked about this a couple of weeks ago— who are trying to change this because they wanted to fit their desires. But we can't change this. If it says adultery is wrong— y'all hearing this? Adultery is wrong. It's our Constitution. And listen, while we love all of the LGBTQXYZ whatever, we love you, we hate the sin. And if the Bible says it's wrong, We can't change this. There are preachers who are forming coalitions and ecumenical boards and processes to adjust the reality of the text, and they're debating, saying we need another canon. Which means we need another Bible. The devil is a liar. Glory to God. And I say to all of them out there doing it, Yvette Flunder, O.C. Allen, and all of those inclusionists that are out there trying to change the word of God, first of all, I submit to you, you never had the Holy Ghost anyway, because the Bible says in Hebrews, once you have tasted of the heavenly gift, it is impossible for you to turn away. So the very fact that you're trying trying to change what the Holy Ghost has spoken, it tells me you never tasted him anyway. And I ain't scared of not one of you. I'm at 410 Santa Fe Trail. Come see me, because the name of Jesus still has power. The blood of Jesus is still right, and you can be delivered, you can be healed, you can be saved. You can't tell me the Bible is wrong because you want to be a lesbian, because you want to be a homosexual. The devil is a liar. You need deliverance from the spirit of promiscuity and be saved for real. Okay, I'm back, I'm back. I was in the camera. I'm back. Okay, we got to keep the law. The word is right. Please take these clips. Y'all won't like to share stuff. Clip that and make it go viral. No, I ain't roller skating or none of that. I'm telling the truth. We got to keep the law. We got to keep this law. We got to protect it. We got to fight for it. This truth is all we have. Any vision or dream that's not aligned with God's purpose and his law and his plan— watch this— it's a nightmare and not a dream. It's a nightmare while you woke. Interesting, right? Because most nightmares occur while you sleeping. But your day-to-day life becomes a nightmare because you're not aligned with God's plans, with God's purpose. Lord, help us today. Watch this. When purpose and vision are aligned— I'm almost done— it guarantees success. Do you want to be successful? I mean, if you don't, then none of this matters. But if you want to have success in life, if you want to overcome the obstacles that come against you, you got to align with purpose and vision. Let me tell you the truth about me. Every failure— and I failed before in my life, I have failed since I've been I have failed since I've been a preacher. Are y'all hearing this? I have let God down, and I know he wasn't pleased. But here's the key to deliverance: owning your failure. Owning your mistake. Yes. And asking God to redeem you. Yes. And deliver you. And he sets you free. And then you choose to live for him. Here's what I learned about why I failed. Every failure in my life was a prayer failure first. I'm gonna say that again. Every failure was a prayer failure first because I didn't pray through to victory. I knew I had to struggle. I knew I was tempted, but I didn't pray through to breakthrough. Because I wanted to keep doing it. Y'all ain't got to talk to me. So I'm trying to help you all the time. That's not God's vision for my life, to be living beneath his privilege, doing something that I was not supposed to be doing. Okay, that's too much for somebody. I'm just honest enough to tell you my story. And while that's years ago, the reality is it can help you now because you don't have to go through what I went through. I went through days of watching God do stuff for other people, him not doing it for me. And I'm talking about him using me and then refusing me. I'm praying, prophesying over other people, and they getting free, and I'm still bound. I'm preaching people into blessing and prosperity, and I was broke because it was a prayer failure. I failed to pray through. But watch this, on the flip side, every success I've had— and I've had some, I'm living them now— was a prayer success first. I spent time with God and prayed through to vision so I can see clearly what he had for my life. Listen, I said all to say this: you cannot fulfill vision and purpose if you do not know God, because they come from him. The main thing that keeps you from knowing God is sin and missing the mark. You got to get that right, people. Stop making excuses. You can't— some of y'all ain't got enough life left to keep trying to live in sin. You might as well give God the rest of it. Are y'all hearing this? Cuz he ain't through with you, and he will extend your life if you give it to him. Cuz watch this, when vision and purpose get married— and I'm closing with this— they give birth to a child called the future. What do you want your future to look like? You got to embrace vision, you got to embrace purpose, and I'm talking about authentic vision and purpose that comes from God. Everybody in this room has one. Embrace it, walk it out, live it. It's his plan for you. Y'all stand. I'm done, I'm done. I hope y'all got something out of this today. Hallelujah. My God. I want you to do me a favor and just grab hands this morning. Touch and agree. And we're going to just say some of this out loud. Glory to God. I believe death and life is in the power of your tongue. I believe you have what you say. So Father, as we prepare our hearts to pray and to confess over what we've received. We believe that what we say will come to pass. Your word says we shall decree a thing and it will be established. So Father, as we make these decrees, we thank you that what we say will be established in our lives. Your word also says that angels hearken to the voice of thy word. So Father, even as the angels hear us confess your word, that they will move in and begin to You bring to pass what we say, and we give you praise and glory for it. Now say this for me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, say, I believe that I can have sight and no vision, but I decree and declare now that my greatest gift is not sight, it's vision. Say, I believe that vision is a function of the heart. Say, I believe eyes that look are common, but oh my God, eyes that see are rare. Say, in the name of Jesus, I want to see myself, I want to see my future the way you see me. Say, in the name of Jesus, I believe vision is a source of hope and life. Say, vision— oh my God— say, vision makes disappointment and suffering bearable. Say, vision inspires work. Say, vision energizes faith. Say, "Vision is your reality for my purpose and my future in the name of Jesus." Say, "Vision is working together everything in my life for the good." Say, "It's coming together." Say, "It's coming together." Say, "The way it is now is not the way it's going to be. Say, it's a new day, it's a new hour, it's a new time. My life is turning around right now in Jesus' name. I receive the word. I have purpose and meaning in my life, and I declare I will show up to do what you call me to do in Jesus' name. Come on, clap your hands and give God praise. Come on, clap those hands and give God glory. Come on, open your mouth for vision. Come on, I need some vision walkers. I need some dreamers in this house to open your mouth and Praise God because things are turning for you. Things are changing for you right now. While you praise, God's going to meet you in your hand clap. God's going to meet you in your thank you. I need you to praise him for the turnaround. Praise him for the breakthrough. Praise him for the open door. Hallelujah! While you're yet standing, there may be someone in this room that's not saved. With every head bowed and every eye closed, please be obedient, saints. No one looking around. Everyone bow your head and close your eyes. If you're in this building today and you're not born again, the first up to walk in their vision is receiving the Lord. It's the counsel of the Lord. It's the purpose of the Lord. If you're here and you say, I, I just want to receive the Lord, I want to get started on this journey— I don't mean embarrass you, I'm— that's why I got everybody heads bowed, their eyes closed. If that's you, saints in the building praying, just lift up your hands I gotta get started on this journey.
