Dr. Noah St John says your goal should scare and excite you at the same time. If it feels too easy, you're playing too small. If it feels overwhelming, break it into smaller daily tasks that you can actually accomplish.
Hey, Dr. Noah, how can you tell if your goals are too big or too small?
You know, the thing about goals is they should scare you a little but excite you a lot. So think about this. If your goals are too small or too easy, that means they're not going to excite you. That means you're playing too small. But if they're too big, that means you get overwhelmed. And that's when you have to break those bigger goals into smaller manageable goals. All right, so you wanna find that sweet spot right in the middle between too big, which is overwhelm, And too small, which is too easy. So find that sweet spot in the middle, that middle ground, and then that way every single day you're gonna use my same productivity tips that I'm sharing with you in my books and in my videos and make progress every single day towards your bigger goals, but make sure they're manageable every single day so that you feel accomplished at the end of every single day.
