A speaker has people repeat "I am rich" and they laugh, saying they don't believe it. He explains the real problem: affirmations don't work without actual belief behind them.
Right. And everybody say, I am rich. And they go, I am rich. Right. You know what happens next? Everybody starts laughing. Yeah. Right. They're like laughing. And I go, well, what are you laughing at? And they go, well, I'm not rich. Right. And I said, well, you just said you were. And they go, yeah, but I don't believe it. Aha. See, now that's the problem, right? There's nothing wrong with the statement. The problem is we don't believe the statement.
