Dr. Noah St John questions whether hustle culture gurus actually help people get rich or just sell the dream. They flash sports cars and yachts to prove the grind works, but St John asks: have they made their followers wealthy, or just themselves?
And what's amazing about these gurus is they're great at self-promotion. They're fantastic self-marketers, and they are like, "Hey man, I hustled and I grinded. You know, look at my sports car. Look at my jet. Look at my helicopter. Look at my yacht." Hey man, nothing wrong with that. We all want nice things, right? There's nothing wrong with those things. But here's my argument and my question to those gurus: That's great that you've made all that money. Have you helped anyone else make any money? You know, and usually the answer is not so much.
