We all know, right? A book costs what, about $20? So you gotta sell a heck of a lot of books to make any money in this game, right? In this industry. So I realized pretty quickly, wait a minute, this isn't gonna get the— this isn't gonna get the job done. I mean, if I wanna scale up my business, if I wanna have time freedom, financial freedom, location freedom, right? I don't wanna be stuck in this 300-square-foot basement apartment the rest of my life. I better have some— something else here, you know? And of course, there was no one to help me back then. So I had to figure all this out on my own. It was really awful and really hard.
