The Power of Bio-Stacking in Health
13 Jun 2025 · 40 min
In this episode of the Holistic Dentistry Podcast, Dr. Sanda Moldovan interviews Dr. Howard Cohen, founder of the Cohen Health Institute, to explore his integrative approach to health that he calls “Bio‑Stacking.” Dr. Cohen recounts his journey from chiropractic school to developing a multidisciplinary practice that combines biological dentistry, applied kinesiology, nutritional science, and quantum‑level interventions. The conversation covers the oral‑systemic link, explaining how teeth and dental work (root canals, amalgam fillings, cavitations) can act as toxic reservoirs that affect distant organ systems via meridian pathways. Applied kinesiology and muscle‑response testing are described as tools for mapping these connections and prioritizing treatment order, with a “priority reflex” system to decide which interventions should occur first. Dr. Cohen shares a dramatic case where a bladder‑cancer patient’s tumor regressed after removal of toxic teeth identified through meridian testing. He also discusses post‑COVID‑vaccine observations, emphasizing systemic inflammation and the need for drug‑free, natural strategies. The bulk of the interview focuses on molecular hydrogen products (H2 Blast, Hydrant, Reset) that deliver nanobubble hydrogen to reduce oxidative stress, inflammation, and pain, and on an alkaline, plant‑based, hydrogen‑rich nutrition protocol. Dr. Cohen explains the development of these products, their taste‑focused formulation, and their use in humans, animals, and athletes. The episode concludes with promotion of the BioStacking Summit 4.0, a vetted community platform that connects practitioners, sponsors, and patients, and with a philosophical reminder that health work is a blend of science, art, and purpose.

Hi everybody, I'm Dr. Sanda Moldovan, periodontist and nutritionist. Welcome to the Holistic Dentistry Podcast, the show that gives you the tips and tools to detoxify your mouth for a healthier body as we explore together the root cause of disease. Remember, you're not healthy until your mouth is healthy, so take care of it in the most Natural way. Hello everyone, welcome to today's show of another episode of The Holistic Dentistry. And with me today, I'm very excited to have one of my dear colleagues and friend, Dr. Howard Cohen. And he is the founder of Cohen Health Institute in Costa Mesa. He's truly a visionary in natural health and human potential. I've had many, many interesting conversations with him about hydrogen, about muscle testing, about the whole body and how the biological dentistry really fits into the big scheme of human health. Dr. Cohen, welcome to the show.
Well, thanks for having me. This is fun. I'm so used to and enjoy conversing with you about all things in your office when I'm there getting my own dentistry done. So thank you for that.
Absolutely. And I'm excited to chat with you today about so many different topics. And you have actually trained thousands of practitioners in, in your method and I'm very fortunate to treat patients with you. And basically every single patient that comes to our clinic loves what you do. They've all come a long way and they tell me about your methods and it's pretty impressive to be able to get a patient, you know, from completely being broken down to actually see the process before you even start it. And I think that's one of your geniuses, to be able to take somebody and say, okay, well, this is what we need to do. All the steps in this order. Um, so, uh, tell me a little bit about how you became to practice the way you do. Like, how did this all get started? Because you, you went to chiropractic school.
Yeah, well, you know, I fell in love with the philosophy of chiropractic. I looked at— my mom's a nurse, so somehow, you know, health was always around us. But what I realized with what was around me was not healthcare, but it was disease care. I didn't know it at the time. I just thought that cabinet in the bathroom with all those drugs in it was the answer to people's health because why would I doubt what my parents were, were doing? My mom was into it and she, and seemed to help people, but I didn't know there was this whole other world out there called holistic healthcare. There was no functional medicine yet at all. Didn't have that real name. Just like, you know, dentistry, there were just dentists that were more conscious, but there really wasn't biological dentistry just yet. And Um, you know, I just got really blessed to meet some people that were doing next-level things. And when you care about patients and you want to see them get better, then you're going to get more harder, difficult, challenging patients to get better. And then that's going to force you to learn more things. And hopefully people do that and don't just refer people out and hope that they get the care that they needed. And, you know, I was fortunate enough to meet some people along the way in chiropractic school that were fixing the unfixable, as they say. And people are lining up to see them for physical problems, biochemical, nutritional problems, mental, emotional problems, all kinds of things. And they were getting results. And, you know, chiropractic was always part of it, but it was— and it was the foundation, but it wasn't— didn't— wasn't where it ended, you know. Because, you know, if you're deficient with certain nutrients, you're toxic with others, it's going to affect your body. And you're always going to be having to treat something rather than get to the root cause of something. And A lot of people love to use that buzzword these days anywhere on Instagram and Facebook and TikTok about how they're root, root cause doctors. But most people somewhere along the stem, as we say, because again, if you're not looking at the deeper things, if you're not looking at the, your oral health, if you're not looking at your gut health, if you're not looking at your, how you process things mentally and emotionally, and if you're not looking at your deep neurology, then you're usually band-aiding things and you're getting symptoms. Better for people using natural means, which is better than using drugs many times by mitigating or minimizing side effects. But you're— it's not really still getting to the root of the problem. So it's just been an evolution over the last 35 years. And now we have the Cohen Health Institute, we have Cohen Nutrition, we have the BioStacking Summit where we actually feature people. We had you on the summit, which was awesome. And we feature people that are doing next-level things in their space so that our community can be global and people can see that there are people out there and they don't have to be at the effect of just what their local doctor says is possible when they just know what they know.
Yeah. And you came up with this concept of bio stacking. And by the way, for those of you listening today, you extended 50% off your VIP pass, which is amazing for those of you that want to learn more about the type of medicine that Dr. Cohen practices, definitely check it out. So what is this bio stacking exactly?
So, you know, bio stacking is practitioners that have taken many different methods that they've learned over the years and have put them together in their own unique format to create exponential results for patients where many of these clinics or practitioners are what we call the one-stop doc. Meaning like you can get things done physically, chemically, emotionally, and it's all under one roof and it could be all by one practitioner. And then, you know, after doing it for a decade, I realized, wow, I'm never gonna be able to learn everything. I'm gonna have to bring people in that are great at certain things and then build a little mini village so that we have people that can fix things real time in this place. And, you know, ironically I always say, you know, we have just about everything in here, you know, but I always use the dentistry as an example I go for a lot of people, we'll find their problem, but we're not ultimately the one that does all the fixing. We'll fix some of the things, but sometimes we need help. Like sometimes we have to send them to Dr. Moldovan because we are testing them with muscle testing, we're doing other biofeedback testing, and a lot of their challenges through Chinese medicine and acupuncture meridians relate to certain meridians that run through, let's say, a certain tooth. And as we test their history or check their history, we find out that they've either had a root canal with that tooth. They might have a cavitation, they might have a monster-sized filling, you know, a mercury amalgam filling that you would have to condemn a lake if you like drop that filling in the lake. And they're just wondering why they, you know, can't think straight or why they have hardcore neurological issues or why they may have oncological issues happening. And it's a big part of a lot of people's programs. So we just spidered out in 1,000 clinics around the world that do even weirder stuff than we do. And so the BioStacking Summit started last year to try and, uh, as a labor of love, just expose people, uh, to, uh, people that are doing things. And so now they have a place that they could check in and, and kind of try on practitioners without having to spend all this money to go see them right out of the gate. Like, you know, a lot of people will— they'll talk, they'll chime in on the conversation that you and I had, and they go, you know what, I like her, I like what she's saying. I've been finding a biological dentist, but they're doing pieces of the things. And, you know, and so a lot of times they'll be able to find the right doctor for them. And, you know, takes a village these days.
Yeah, it's so true. And, you know, I really am impressed that you're actually asking people about oral health because this is not the norm. And everybody that's gone to a physician or even a chiropractor or even anti-aging doctor, regenerative center, they don't necessarily ask you about your oral health. So how did you understand, or at what point did you get this aha moment that, oh my gosh, yeah, oral health is important?
Well, you know, usually starts like yourself and everybody with our own mouth, you know? So I mean, my mom did the best she can with the resources she had and not have a lot. And so I grew up in New York, and in California there's a running joke about New York dentistry, like you could look in somebody's mouth and tell that their dentistry was done in New York. And I, of course, went to a lot of the penny saver dentists. It was a little magazine. Today it would be like Groupon dentistry or, you know, so, so let's say the best work was not done in my mouth. That set me up for all kinds of stuff. And, you know, I have my own genetic preponderance to having oral health issues. And God knows I wasn't eating alkaline foods growing up. Everything was sugar-based, acidic, and really created the, the dysbiotic environment to have my mouth rot from the inside out. And I had root canals and I had mercury fillings and I had all the things that create a toxic burden on my body. And, you know, I had certain health issues and when we tested them holistically and with other practitioners, they showed many of them that they were related to oral health. And it's an ongoing thing and it's really, it's a You know, people get a little sticker shock when they look at what it costs to get something done right, you know. But as the saying goes, uh, you know, if you think it's, you know, expensive to hire professionals, try hiring amateurs, right? Because it's going to add up 10x by having to fix the work that was done. Like, you know, half my day in my clinic is doing nothing more than fixing medically induced problems, and post-COVID, it's the majority of my day. Meaning like if they just, you know, got examined to see where something was coming from rather than treat it with 12 drugs and procedures, they might have a different trajectory of their healthcare.
Interesting. So you mentioned post-COVID, is that from the vaccine or is that from actually—
Yeah, it's pretty much the vaccine. Yeah, it's pretty much the vaccine. It seems to be like an emotional conversation for a lot of people, a political one still for whatever reason, or just something that's, continually fueled by ignorance. But if someone doesn't really believe that, you know, any kind of medical procedure, you have to sign something saying that you're acknowledging that there is a side effect, with death including that. So to think that that can't happen, just to think, you know, everyone has your best interest in mind, uh, they don't. They just don't at this point. And so, you know, I, for the first part of my career, was very vocal about it. And then, you know, but I reconnected to my mentors who said it's a lot more productive to light a candle than curse the darkness. Meaning if you're throwing dirt, you're losing ground. I mean, can't worry about the nasty things that people are doing. You know, we live in a world where, you know, the number one pesticide related to breast cancer in women is made by the same company that makes the chemotherapy for it. So, you know, when you see these things going on every day, all day long, this incestuous stuff going on, You know, it's, you know, health goes to those who are aware and those who unfortunately can afford it, because otherwise you're, you know, people go, ah, does my insurance cover it? Well, there's no such thing as health insurance. You just have disease insurance. So there was health insurance, we would use it, you would use it too, but there's no such thing. So it's, it's all based on a system and a machine that we don't control, we're not a part of. So we're either going to get the, the, the, uh, breadcrumbs of health or we're going to demand that we have better health. And so it's, you know, you have to pay for it, unfortunately. Yeah.
Yeah. No, I agree with you. You know, it's a— it's a— dentistry is not even included in like medical insurance, right? Oral health is not even part of the picture. So, you know, that's archaic. But let's go back to something you mentioned about, about teeth being meridians and you actually testing for meridians. Like, how do you do testing like that?
So, um, you know, we, we do, you know, something called applied kinesiology, and there's many different subcategories of, of the diagnostics of that, which is really biofeedback to the body using muscle response testing. So, you know, basically your body's mostly water. Water conducts electricity. You can test, let's say, the functional strength of a specific muscle. Every muscle in your body is related to different organs, functions, nutritional needs, emotions. Dentist, like teeth, you name it. And there's like homunculuses of your whole body all over it, in your hand and your feet. We know from the reflexology charts we see, you know, in Chinese medicine your ear is an upside-down fetus, and you can treat any part of the body through the ear using acupuncture, electroacupuncture. You can feel your pulses, know the same thing. You can look at the irises of your eye and you don't even need to see the patient. If you're well trained enough, you can tell like how old they were when they broke their arm and on what side. So all this information is there, but if there's no drug at the end Rainbow. You're not going to learn it in any kind of school that you're paying, you know, hundreds of thousands of dollars to attend with a big name like Harvard or Yale or Princeton, right? So it's the, as we say, don't hate the player, hate the game. But the, you know, these meridian relationships have been there for thousands of years. And so, um, then the holistic and biological dentistry world knows about it. The, the Ayurvedic world knows about it. The Chinese medicine world knows about it. Many in the holistic world know about it. And, you know, I mean, what probably one of the most dramatic cases I've ever seen was many years ago when I was doing my weekly health class, we had somebody that was referred to the class who had, you know, fourth stage terminal bladder cancer. They were told they had 6 months to live and they should get their house in order. And so we used them as a demo and we were testing them. And so what it does is we would have, let's say, them touch the either meridian for their bladder, a reflex point for their bladder, and let's say would make a muscle weak or inhibited accurately. And then what we would do is we would cross-check it against different things, and one of the things we screen is the mouth. And in this person's case, it was the, the mouth. And then once we found it's the mouth, then we see, is it the gums, is it the teeth? In this case, it was the teeth. And then we found which tooth, and it was these front two teeth here, which are in Chinese medicine on your bladder meridian. And so I asked him if there's any history about that teeth because I had not seen him other than that night for 2 minutes without a history. And he said, well, these teeth were knocked out when I was younger and they were— their crowns were put in and those teeth were root canal. And so as it turned out, we sent him to a biological dentist back then. I didn't know you then. So, and he was able to find that they had cavitations in those two teeth that were literally, you know, embalmed and dropping, you know, anaerobic bacteria and its excrement into his bloodstream, affecting specifically the function of his bladder. And it turned out he had like 6 more of them. So he did have these teeth removed and then he had, I think, like a bridge put in or he had actually like a, like a hockey player had a little like temporary thing put in. And the guy lived like 17 years. So, I mean, you know, call it coincidence or not, but, you know, the tumors regressed, all the things went away. He, you know, we worked with him, he changed his diet. He had worked in a salon his whole life, so his liver was riddled with all kinds of VOCs and chemicals that we need to cleanse out of him. But it really like turned on a dime when he had those teeth handled. Yeah, and the—
what a great story—
instantaneousness of the dental intervention, that's such a big thing.
What a great story, you know. And, uh, there's so many people walking around with root canal teeth that have no idea that these root canal teeth are toxic. Now, do you ever see when you muscle test that some root canals are okay?
Well, we see, you know, depends who you talk to, right? I mean, you have to say there's no such thing as a good root canal, and it's not if, it's when. So What we do is that— what we do is that we will see— we have a test to see if it's a priority. So first, if it's— if it's not weak, we just note it and we watch it, right? If it's weak, then we go, how weak is it making this person? So there's a, you know, it's like a combination to a safe. You can go to these— problem with people going to holistic doctors and biological doctors is that the right thing done at the wrong time is the wrong thing. It's like a combination lock to a safe. If you Even if you have all the right numbers, you did all the blood tests and lab tests, you see all the problems. If you do the right thing, the wrong thing at the wrong time, you're gonna make the patient worse or sicker or just, you know, you're gonna exacerbate or aggravate things. So there's a certain order. So we have a process to fill out, figure out what order to do it in. But then we have what's called a priority reflex. And if something shows like the number one priority and/or their main chief complaint is related to a tooth, we absolutely say, you know, before I look at you and you spend time, energy, money doing what you're going to do here, I need you to go get a cone beam X-ray and really take a look, you know, with somebody who's trained to do it. You know, we give them, you know, you're one of our favorite people that we give out. We give them a couple other names if they're somewhere else and they don't want to, you know, go to— although you have offices pretty much everywhere in Southern California, so there's really no excuse anymore. So, yeah.
Yeah. Awesome. I love that prioritizing because I agree with you. I, you know, I get patients that are very sick as well, like you do, and they want me to take out all their root canals and do all this. But I'm like, is it the right time? You know, I just— it's just my intuition saying, and I think this is part of practicing dentistry and medicine is like, as a doctor, we have to have that intuition. Like, for me, it's an intuition. For you, you're doing more applied kinesiology. Which I have to learn from you. I would love to learn that, just to be able to tell when can I prioritize, because I feel some people are not ready for all that dental work. They need to work on other things first.
The body has its own wisdom, and anytime I've ever tried to violate it because I thought I knew better, it never worked out, you know, even though I had a good reason to do it. So, you know, um, you know, the philosophy is remove the interference, let the body do what it knows how to do. The body knew how to create it, knows how to heal itself. But, you know, we've done a lot of things to it, you know. Uh, as you know, I know we're talking a lot about dentistry, but again, there's no such thing as saving a tooth. When your endodontist says we're going to save your tooth, this is so full of shit. It is such a scam. There's nothing being saved. It's the only profession— sorry about beating up your profession— it's the only profession to put dead and embalmed material inside the body. I mean, it would be like you know, a surgeon sewing you up and just leaving a piece of your rotted, you know, appendix in there. Rather than— someone, you're in there, you might as well take it out if it's rotted, you know. So, but if you're— it's not, you know, it's, it's insane.
Yeah, I agree 100%. You know, I always share my story about my own root canal that, uh, I got at the age of 14 when I was living in Romania. And, uh, on the X-ray it looked great. There was no dark radiolucency around it. The only thing that bothered me, Howard, is when I was flossing around it, it smelled. When I looked at it, it started to turn dark at the gum line, and I'm like, that's it. I'm done with this tooth. I'm going to have it removed. I was already heading on the path of biological dentistry at the time. So after I had this removed, it was on my meridian of digestion. My digestion improved significantly. So, so, you know, I lived it. So for that reason, I would never get another root canal because I agree with you. Why would you want a dead organ in your body?
No, absolutely not.
Well, let's, let's kind of shift gears here into nutritional products because you brought over some hydrogen powder the other day to our office.
Right.
Oh, that's right.
This guy. I love him.
Yeah. He's a blast. So, so it's true. Like the, within like a few minutes, like all of us had better energy and clearer thinking. So, uh, let's talk a little bit about these unique nutritional products that you have and, and, uh, how did it even come about? To think of this.
So in our office, we have thousands of different nutritional products from hundreds of companies from around the world. Not like to have a store, but everything that we ever have here was somebody's miracle at one time, and it made its way on our shelves, so to speak. That being said, after doing this for decades, I realized, you know, if people just did a handful of things earlier in their life or consistently, they wouldn't need all these exotic nutrients or minerals or vitamins or food factors or specific amino acids or so on and so forth. And, you know, God and nature has things on this planet that, that just does heavy lifting, if you will. So when I looked at it and I looked at all the different philosophies and things, ways to eat, diets, and so on and so forth, consistently, you know, when it came to recovering human health, it all became down to like an Alkaline, plant-based, hydrogen-rich nutrition. You know, it didn't— now, it didn't mean like people when they do that, they go, oh, you said plant-based, he wants everybody to be a vegan. No, no, it just means that, you know, incorporating and doing more. I know the carnivore people think we just eat meat, and I've been— I've done every single program including that, and it has great benefits. And all the different benefits of every diet that works has two things in mind. Number one, it cuts carbs out, and number two, it is portion control involved. And that is every program, every single one, you know. So, uh, you know, the number one most researched thing is caloric restriction. Means just eat less. Yeah, that's it.
Just eat less.
You know, that's it. It's like, and if you do the literature research and everyone's opinions and their dialogues and their Instagram page, it's just eat less. So if you got to do one thing, maybe process carbohydrate. I know everybody's a seed oil fan and whatever the next thing is, but wouldn't have been the problem if we didn't add it. So let's just focus on what somebody can do. So number one, in The Biggest Lifter, what I was trying to do is just, you know, I, I knew I needed to help people become more alkaline. So the number one thing was making a greens product, which we are reproducing right now to make it lower oxalate. And the number one thing though was to make it taste good, because, you know, most everyone knows they should eat more greens, but, you know, if they do, they're like, oh, tastes like the bottom of my lawnmower, so like, I'm not doing that again. Like, everyone remembers the first time they had wheatgrass 'cause it's also the last time, right? But you can shove it in your mouth, shove it up your butt, and you can cure anything. So there's enough evidence of it about that. And we could talk for 4 hours about it. So it started with that and making it taste good. So actually kids would do it. 'Cause if a child won't take your product, you will never see it change the world. It's really the law. It's the real rule. You gotta make it taste good without putting sugar in it. And there are ways. So, That was number 1. Number 2 is while trying to figure out how to do the biggest thing, which was create, make coffee more alkaline. That was all we were trying to do. That was all we were trying to do because I'm like, listen, that one's personal. And one of my mentors inspired me to look at it. I go, I'm not going to give up coffee. I'm just not. I don't care what anybody says. It's not. So how to make it better? Yes, I'm buying the low mold organic coffee. Doing all this stuff to it. And, but how do I make it? So, you know, I did like a worldwide search of it. Nobody was doing it. So, you know, I met a scientist from Eastern Europe that showed me that you can use molecular hydrogen, uh, generating powder that comes from a very specific type of, uh, magnesium that was very proprietary to this scientist and how they figured it out. Because people drinking— everyone's watching on Instagram, they're drinking hydrogen water. People know about in the hospitals about breathing hydrogen air. We have it all in our office, hydrogen water, hydrogen air. And the bit— and then they use these nasty little dissolvable tablets. That was my first product before anybody had it. Now, like, everybody's doing it now. That was like 15 years ago for me. And I'm like, couldn't wait to move on from that. I had to figure it out. We figured out a way to make it chewable, very similar to how you do with your probiotic— with your probiotics. And then I go, I gotta make it better. And so that's where the H2 Blast came from. They're little sachets. You tear them open. They taste like a Pixie Stick or Fun Dip, and we use like organic xylitol. So as you know, it's great for your gums, great for your teeth, great for that C word that came up in the last 5 years, all those things. So it does a lot of things. And but kids will take it, love it. Hydrant is probably the— it's, it's the best kept secret. And our claim to fame is we've figured out you don't have to need water. You just put it in your mouth because as soon as you put in water, it was like, oh, mine was 5 parts a million, 8 parts a million. Doesn't matter. As soon as it hits air, it's just poof, like poof, it's all dissipating. So you can measure it outside, but what's getting in your body, what's being absorbed— because it's not what you eat, so, or what you absorb. But when you eat it, you're, you're the container. It's its own closed container. So the reaction happens in your body. Now, hydrogen's the smallest molecule. That's why it's number 1 on the periodic table. Goes right inside your cells, right inside the mitochondria of your cells, which is why everybody says they have an energy burst. That's why people PR in the gym the first time they use it. It's why you can climb mountains without having altitude sickness. Because different than other, like, antioxidants— different— this is a selective antioxidant. But different than other anti-inflammatories, the molecule is so small. Like, if you're taking turmeric or resveratrol or all these different other things, anything, you— it's too big. It's just not getting inside your cell. This will get inside your cell, crosses your blood-brain barrier. It's where the brain fog goes. That's why it's helping kids who have autism, autism spectrum disorder. You know, we're not— we don't make medical claims. We just look at the literature. There's thousands of research articles on hydrogen and what it's doing. There's not a disease not known to man that hasn't been studied for molecular hydrogen. We've just made it easy for everyone to do and enjoy doing it. And so it's, it's like a mat. It's like it's a hero prod. Product. It's, you know, the most used product in this clinic by far. And we have a version we made in capsule. There'll be other versions. When I had companies before that I worked with formulated products, we had one for dogs. So, you know, dogs are the best. Dogs are better than people. People are skeptical. People worried about their insurance. People are worried about if it's a placebo. People worried about if you're trying to sell them on something. Not dogs. Like, if dog's limping and you give the dog the product and it's not limping, they don't do placebo. They don't have front— they don't have the same— they're not like have the same emotions that we do. They're not worried about all these things, you know. Horses, even better, you know. We had hunter jumper horses coming over from Europe and Canada that were running faster, jumping higher, they weren't limping anymore. And, you know, there's two— you know, and if you're an athlete in the United States, it's like 200 banned substances you're tested for. If you're a horse, there's 2,000. You know, and this is something you can use that they won't. Now, the version we create, H2 Blast, xylitol is not good for dogs. You're not giving it to your dog. We have a version for your dog. But, um, any event, yeah, that's a little fact about dogs and xylitol. But, uh, somehow they could take erythritol anyway.
Um, I mean, I would love to see, you know, your powder. I was thinking in terms of a post-operative dental healing for medical surgeries.
There's two things I'll tell you. The second product we're relaunching is a product I'm gonna— well, I'll say it here because it's out in like 4 weeks. It's going to be called Reset, and it was originally called, you know, um, it was designed to boost your alkalinity. Let's just say that. And we used to do this all the time, and, you know, one of the old-time biological dentists in our community in Long Beach, he would test everyone's pH day one, and he goes, I can tell who has cavities and who doesn't based on their pH. Just tell me their pH. If they're acidic, they have cavities. If they're alkaline, it'll be a hard time finding one or two. And so it is a big deal. So we created a product besides— like, your best way to do it is eat your greens, but most people won't do that. By the time they come to my office, your office, it's, it's an acidic nightmare. So you need to blast them out of it. So we give them bicarbonate carbonate alkaline minerals of calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, with organic lemon and organic lime oil in there and a couple herbs that really changed the whole terrain. Because you can take all— I have like thousands of products. I have at least 800 antimicrobials in my clinic.
Wow.
A lot for everything known to man that could grow in and on somebody. But I will tell you, if you change the alkaline terrain, if you change the terrain of the oral cavity to alkaline, 9 out of 10 of those you'll never need to eat. And the same thing, it just sets up a different trajectory to the time you get to your gut to have your, like, the microbiome be a different— you don't need as much shit, you know, this is really down. So the goal with the products under Co-Nutrition is really designed for that. And Co-Nutrition, my last name, conveniently carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, and nitrogen, which is the four elements of all living things.
No coincidence there. How are you meant to do this?
No. Yes. Couldn't resist this. Yeah.
You have to, it's very interesting, you know, with hydrogen because it's really, even today, it's not talked about very much. I don't know many practitioners that actually use hydrogen for treatment. They use a lot of other supplements, but not hydrogen.
I will tell you, 98% of anyone I ever send for a dental procedure never take any anti-inflammatory or analgesic that's prescribed for them. They just do this. That's all they do. And it's just a question of— I never did when I saw you or anybody. I just took this. Yeah.
Does hydrogen have the ability to decrease pain? Postoperative pain?
Oh, it's the number one thing. So the number one thing it's used for by the consumer is pain. It's not what it's designed for, but that's what it's used for. Because all pain is inflammation. Any -itis is that. And it's a super anti-inflammatory. So it's like a heat-seeking missile. It's looking for what's inflaming you, but it won't interrupt signaling molecules. So it'll take, you know, peroxynitrate and hydroxyl radicals and turn them to water, which if you know anything about those really horrific things that happen to kill us all, which is cancer, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, all 4 of those are victims of those 2 free radicals, which are neutralized by hydrogen. So again, although we're not allowed to make medical claims, just watch what happens when you help somebody get healthier by introducing them to a fast-acting oral molecular hydrogen that anybody can afford. And yeah, I don't think I've gone any time, any day in the last 15 years without taking it. So it's night and day for anybody. We used to do demonstrations. I would do a talk and I would have 5 minutes in the talk, have people stand up and go, Who's hurting? You know, not even allowed to say the pain word anymore. So who's hurting? Like, who has a back is hurting? Whose neck's hurting? Whose knee hurts? Whose hip hurts? I would have them show me, and we would pass out the Hydrant product the day that I made, and then we would circle back them 15 minutes. So there's our hurting people. And 4 to 5 of them every single time, oh my God, it doesn't hurt, it's hurt for 10 years, you know, like all that stuff. And then when the talk is over, half the room goes to these people. Not to say find out about it, but they thought they were— it's too unbelievable. They think they're a plant. They think it's all like some kind of scam. No, it's not. So it is that— that's why I said the dogs are the best, because the dogs can't fake it. Dog— we had a whole website in the beginning, many years ago, just dedicated to all of us dogs that were limping and then not limping. So great. And those people do it. They go, I would have never done it unless I didn't see it on a dog. Yeah.
So taking hydrogen is something that we should do every day just to combat all that's coming at us from an oxidative stress perspective?
Every day. Every day. There's a reason it's number one. I mean, it's the number one. It is. It's molecular hydrogen. It's molecular hydrogen nanobubbles. So they're so small, they just, they just got, they're like that little, they'll just clean up what's going on. So It's a big deal. It's a big deal in a lot of things that affect a lot of people's health. Oh, I will tell you. So when I first— I didn't tell the story, and I think this goes to something we chatted about before. So my first product, I made it for coffee because it took the acid out of coffee. I did not know that hydrogen was as big a deal as it was 15 years ago. I heard about it, but I didn't believe it. And so I swear to God, all of us, right? You put it, it was tiny little tablet would dissolve, will fit right inside that hole in the Starbucks cup and it would take the acid out. The problem is it wouldn't dissolve all the way. But what was happening, I had all these different RSD, CRPS, and chronic pain syndrome patients coming up to me and go, hey, I was taking those coffee drops things you had for coffee, but my knee doesn't hurt anymore, and or my back doesn't, or like I'm not taking as many pharmaceuticals for pain management anymore. Or I need to go get my cortisone shot. And I'm like, okay. And so I'm going to roll up the sleeves and do the research and yeah, that's what it does. It's what it's designed to do. And nobody was talking about hydrogen yet unless you were in Japan. I mean, I did everything. I flew to Nordenau, Germany to visit the caves that the Japanese did the studies on. I went inside the cave where God created natural molecular hydrogen gas. It comes out of this one cave and People are lined up like a scene in the movie Cocoon. They're all in their 60s, 70s, and 80s trying to reclaim their youth. And they would let you, like, sit in there for 20 minutes and drink the water. But you come out of there like you're a god. I mean, they built a hotel around it. I mean, it is, it is. It's nothing like the real deal.
Okay. And this was a cave where you had hydrogen coming out of the ground?
Yeah, it comes out of the ground. It's in the water. It's hydrogen-rich. I think there's two places in the world, one in this little town in Germany and the other one somewhere in Mexico. May not seem a little sketchier to get to, so I went to the German one.
It's just so much easier to take a Pixie Stick, right? Age 2 Black. Yeah, it's true. Very interesting. I definitely want to start prescribing it to patients, and I'm going to keep you posted on the healing process. I have patients, you know, I did surgery already. I want to see how they heal after. I have those slow healers, you know, that they just don't heal well.
It's amazing. I'm sure one day— I mean, we've— I mean, This, in this form, it's only been out since April. You're one of the first users. So I mean, we'll, um, we're gonna showcase it at the International Kinesiology Conference, uh, next month. And, uh, um, we're going to, uh, you know, I probably will do a dental conference, either IOMT or one of those, and just get a booth at it with my people. And because then it's such a— it's designed for dentistry. I mean, it really is.
Yeah, sounds good. Oh my God, Howard. I mean, there's just such interesting topics you and I can chat about for sure. So for those of you that want to continue the conversation, go to thebiostackingsummit.com. And as you were saying, Biostacking Summit 4.0 is coming out in September. Yes, this year, right? 2025.
All new speakers, all new sponsors. Well, we have a lot of continued sponsors. And a lot of exciting new sponsors. And, you know, it's really— what I always thought is no incurable disease, only incurable people. If you want to get better, you can. It's going to take more than one thing and it's going to take a couple of dollars, but you can put a team together and make a lot happen. So the goal is to showcase people that are really doing it. And, you know, there's a lot of summits and things out there, but a lot of people doing it just because people are paying to do it or paying to be on it. We don't do any of that stuff. All these people are vetted, all the doctors and practitioners are vetted, and see, all the sponsors are too. We turn down a lot of people who want to just give us money because we don't believe in their product, or our doctors don't use their product, or their product is redundant, you know, or it's, you know, that kind of thing, which is, you know, listen, it's business, but it's not what we're putting out.
Yeah, absolutely. What last words do you want to leave our community with?
Ah, what are the last words? Um, you know, every day, every night, someone takes a knee in prayer hoping someone somewhere is going to share with them something that'll make a difference in their health or the health of a family member or friend or someone who's suffering. And, you know, for so many people around the globe, I mean, I've been in 20 different countries that have offices for the nutrition in so many different countries, and for so many people it's been a hydrogen product or coming to the Cone Health Institute or going to a biological dentist when they were spinning their wheels and going everywhere and doing everything, or getting N.E.T. done where they clear out their emotional blocks to their own body getting in the way of them getting better. And so, you know, we tell people when they come to our clinic, they're going to get better whether they like it or not, which means if we can't help them, One of my doctors can. If they can't, like I said before, we're spread out in 1,000 clinics around the world. So I think people just want to know it's possible and then be pointed in the right direction and not be sold. You know, it's become very transactional, these things on all the different social medias and other things where people forget the human element, you know?
Yeah.
And as you know, you know, I think this, you know, dentistry is probably always going to be brick and mortar. Maybe an AI robot will replace it one day, but good luck, man, it's so intricate.
We actually already have that. We do have a dental robot, but at the end, it's that intuition, you know, it's that, that art in medicine and dentistry that, um, a robot could never substitute for.
Yeah, they say in chiropractic it's a science, art, and a philosophy. Science is like, you gotta validate what you're doing. Art is, there's an art to doing it. Some people are great at it, some people just suck and should leave the profession. And then The philosophy is the most important. It's just, why are you doing it? What's the why? You know, and that's really what has made it the largest drugless healing art in the world still.
Yeah, so true. Well, we're here together to change the world, change medicine. So I feel like it's good time right now in the world for, for everyone to understand, uh, you know, the way you and I practice. So I'm super grateful that you are here today. Thank you so much. To see your new products coming up and, and your new summit.
Yeah, awesome. Well, make sure you get some.
