I am a woman, a global citizen, a social entrepreneur. My name is Natalie Biteture and I aim to serve 10 million young African women of today. Together, we can finally unlock the potential of our gender and of generations to come.
My work aims not only to unlock women's entrepreneurial potential, but also to elevate the crucial role that women play in their community's development. Businesses with transformational results.
I have come to understand these challenges to women's leadership as less about their characteristics. Characteristics than the cultural, social and institutional factors facing women in the workforce.
I urge young women to speak up, to step up, to try. We often underestimate ourselves and what we're capable of. We can't always sit back and wait for someone to give us an opportunity. We have to work together to support each other, to create more opportunities, but also to see one and take it.
