Mm-hmm. So general chiropractic care is excellent for patients that have headaches, neck and back pain, uh, without any kind of major complications like a disc herniation or nerve pathology. So, um, we branched out and, um, uh, did research and studies, uh, to see, uh, what were the more, uh, shall I say, reliable progressive therapies that help patients get results. So, um, What we learned many years ago, or what I learned many years ago, was that nonsurgical spinal decompression— notice I said nonsurgical— is very helpful for our patients that have disc protrusion or disc herniation. I know surgeons in the area that will evaluate patients for disc pathology to see if they're surgical. And generally, they're good candidates for surgery if they believe that the nerve is being pinched from a herniated disc and they've exhausted all other reasonable therapies. So the well-meaning surgeon will say, try all the conservative care that you can before you come to me. And the most reasonable thing to consider for a disc herniation is nonsurgical spinal decompression because what it does is it takes pressure off of the herniated disc without surgery or without medication.
