Dr. Vince Leone describes how his energy tanked during a routine morning of standard adjustments, then spiked when two complex decompression patients arrived in the afternoon. Working with specialized, challenging cases reignited his enthusiasm for the practice.
I noticed this just yesterday in practice. I, uh, the morning was really just routine, just a lot of just routine chiropractic stuff, and I noted my energy just was not really that there. But in the afternoon, I had 2 new patients that were both niche. They were both decompression cases, and I noticed in the afternoon my energy levels just shot through the roof. Interesting. After I consulted with them, because that— those are bigger cases, they're a little more complex. Did a thorough exam on those, and you know what, it got the juices flowing again.
