Dr. Vince Leone reveals the first mistake doctors make with spinal decompression therapy: buying a table without building a system first. You need trained staff, a tested protocol, and clear patient communication in place before marketing or taking patients. Equipment alone won't work.

We have 6 primary mistakes that we're going to go through here, Doctor. So mistake number 1, buying a table without a system. Okay, so again, equipment does not equal outcomes. And, you know, a lot of doctors, they'll buy a table and then they'll hire a marketing agency to try to drive in new patients. Big mistake, right? Gotta layer in the system before, um, uh, before you start the marketing, right? That's, that's going the cart before the horse type of thing.
You have to have the right staff in place. Hmm. You have to have the staff trained before you start really processing quite a few of these patients. You have to have a very specific time-tested protocol that you build around the table because decompression is not just a table, it's a program, and each part of the protocol works synergistically together to produce the best possible outcome or result for that patient. So you just, you just don't buy a table and say, oh, I'm just gonna start haphazardly having a few people do some, you know, 3 or 4 decompression visits. That's, that's a recipe for failure. It's just, it's just not gonna work that way. And so you have to have that protocol built in and understand the ins and outs of it. And then be able to effectively communicate what that is to the patient. And when you have that in place and you have a time-tested and proven protocol, the results will come, and then so will the fruit of that, the finances and things like that
