Hey, Dr. Vince here, chiropractic coach and consultant for doctors who are looking for more out of their practice and their life. And I have 3 beliefs, strongly held beliefs, about what it takes to be successful in practice. The first one are the doctors that are willing to do the work. There is no such thing as a 4-hour work week, unfortunately. You know, if you look at any highly successful doctor or entrepreneur, they have put in the work. Elon Musk still works 80 to 100 hours a week. Steve Jobs lived at the office. I mean, the point being is we don't have to do that because those guys are trying to change the world. But if we want a successful practice, we want to be able to compete in the marketplace, we have to do the work and have to be willing to put in the time, effort, and energy. Number 2, got to take control of your marketing. Absolutely have to take control of your marketing. It doesn't mean that you have to actually learn how to do Facebook ads, Or learn how to write great copy, though that wouldn't be a terrible thing or skill to learn, but you have to take responsibility and it has to be one of your primary activities is generating new patients. 'Cause the highest value activities for a chiropractor are treating patients and generating new patients. That is where you make the most impact and money. Number 3 is invest in help. If you're not getting where you wanna go, if you're not hitting the goals that you want to, If you're on somewhat of a treadmill where you're kind of hitting the same numbers every month and every year, you have to be willing to reach out and invest in help, typically through a coach. And every great achiever has a coach, whether it's a professional athlete, CEO. So as chiropractors, we need to start looking at, hey, what are other people doing successfully? And then just model that. And just because our industry is a little rife with not necessarily shucksters, but guys that aren't very good at being a coach or consultant doesn't mean that the concept is not there. So those are my 3 beliefs about really what it takes to be successful in practice. It's not complicated, but you got to be willing to do the work, got to be willing to take responsibility for your marketing, and invest in help if you're not hitting your goals. So on this, on my YouTube channel, hey, take a look at all the free training. There's a ton of stuff available right here for you. for free, please subscribe.
