Dr. Vince | Why Building Your Email List is Crucial

Dr. Vince Leone shows chiropractors how to build an email list using a 4-6 page PDF report that educates prospects about conditions and your approach. Distribute it across your website, Facebook, and Instagram, capture emails in a CRM, then use autoresponder sequences to turn research-mode prospects into patients.

What's up, guys? Dr. Vince here. What's up, Instagram? What's up, Facebook? Happy Thursday. It's pouring down rain here in the Northwest. What are you gonna do? So, hey, awesome to have you guys here. Today we're gonna talk about day 7 of the 12 days/ways that you can bulletproof your practice in 2019. And guys, these aren't like, you know, I didn't like kind of think these things up. They're like tactics and strategies that business people use in all types of industry. And so, I always like to read kind of outside the chiropractic industry and then kind of bring those principles into our industry and apply it. Because I don't know about you, but I had 2 classes, 2 classes in 3 years at Parker College. Or is it Parker University these days? I don't know. I don't know what they're calling themselves these days. But the point being is, you know, you're trying to master the human body and they can't teach you to also master business and marketing also, right? So it's not their fault. It just, it is what it is, but it's incumbent on the business owner to figure it out, right? So that's what we're gonna talk about. And that's what I do as a coach for chiropractors. And I've spent 10 years in the industry, built a 7-figure practice. I've gone from struggling to highly successful, and I pass my information and knowledge on to my clients. And so what we've covered in the days leading up to this are, day 1, we established what is our target goal for 2019, and then what are the stats we need to track to get us there? And then day 2, we talked about creating a unifying message, or in marketing circles, it's called a USP, unique selling proposition. It's something to differentiate your practice, okay, and set you apart. We don't want to be just another chiropractor, so don't be a Jack, right? No. Okay, anyways, so day 3, we talked about assessing your current marketing campaigns. So So we wanna take a look at 2018, see what worked, what didn't. And then day 4, we talk about creating a marketing calendar, right? So we wanted to create a marketing calendar and put all the stuff that worked in 2018, and then look at our goal and then see, okay, this is what worked. Is that gonna get us to our goal? Yes or no? And if not, and most likely it's not, then we have to start adding things, marketing campaigns to get us there, right? And then we talk about, hey, what are those things? Day 5, installing new marketing campaigns. And we went over all types of stuff, new media, old media, all that. Good stuff. And by the way, the full training for this is at chiropracticconsulting.co. So it's a 47-minute training that's awesome, if I do say so myself, but it is free. But the point being is you can check out the whole thing at chiropracticconsulting.co. Next. And then yesterday, day 6, we looked at your pricing structure. Have you given yourself a raise? Right? Because— hello, goodbye. Um, uh, inflation goes up 3% every year, and if you haven't raised your prices, you know, for your adjustment, for rehab, whatever, um, in 3 years, then you can give yourself about a 10% raise. And there's a way to do that and all that good stuff, and we talked about that. Um, and then today, today we're going to talk about creating a And by the way, guys, this is a kind of a long-term thinking in terms of how to generate new patients, right? And I always look, 2 things that you, your highest value activities, treating patients and generating new patients, right? That's the highest value activity you can bring into your practice. And for all patients that you treat, People interested in chiropractic or interested in buying a car or interested in going to get a massage, there's only about 5 or 10% that are ready right now to do something, right? And we want to target those people through ads and whatever. But there's also, you know, a huge chunk of people that are not ready right now. They're in research mode. They're trying to decide who are they going to spend their valuable time and money with. Right. To solve their problem, right? So in our case, with their chiropractic problem. So that's what this episode is about. It's creating a practice downloadable report. Okay, and so what do I mean by that? What I mean by that is— sorry, I'm just trying to— I have a couple notes here. What I mean by that is We want to create a PDF that is going to be able to— that prospective patients are going to be able to download from all of our online and offline methods, right? So whether they're on our Facebook page, website, Twitter, Instagram, like, we want to be— we want to provide this or make it available to them on all these different platforms, right? So that if they're in research mode, they can download it and then learn about us, learn about what we do differently, learn about their condition, right? So for a— for if you want to just go straight chiro, then you could say 3 things to know before choosing a chiropractor, you know, by Dr. Vince Leone. And so, and in that report, you're going to talk about chiropractic, you're going to talk about the, you know, common conditions that we treat, common treatments that are out there that don't work super great, why we're so awesome, why chiropractic is so effective, and then what you, you do differently, right? What separates you? Why are you so great at what you do? Why do these people rave about you? And you put in testimonials and all this type of stuff. And it doesn't have to be the Magna Carta. You don't need to write a New York Times bestseller. It's like 4 to 6 pages maybe. Like, I mean, people, by the way, people don't want to read a ton of information. They just, they want to, hey, what are you all about? Can this guy help me? And so in that report, you wanna develop rapport, you wanna develop authority, you wanna develop some trust. With that patient. And so, and that's something they're gonna print out or they're gonna keep on their desktop or they're gonna keep on their phone and they're gonna read it at some point. And because they're, again, they're in research mode, so they're not gonna take action right now. And then of course, in the report, you wanna have your phone number, your contact information, right? How to schedule an appointment online, how to contact our office, who to ask for, what is there a new patient special, whatever it is. All that needs to be in there. But, and then, and by the way, say you're doing neuropathy or knee pain or stem cell, whatever it is. And you could say, you know, like for neuropathy, you could say, hey, how to solve your neuropathy pain without harmful drugs and their side effects. And then go through your— that's what your whole report's gonna be, 4 to 6 pages. What is neuropathy? What are the crappy common treatments of it? What we do so great? How long I've been doing it? Here's all my patients that say how great I am, blah, blah, blah. And then all of a sudden they're like, wow, I mean, this guy really seems like he knows what he's doing. I mean, not only has he become an expert in the condition, but he's really refined this protocol. He's helped hundreds, if not thousands of people with this, and they seem just like me. And here they're talking about their story, and that really sounds similar to me. When I'm ready, I'm going to call this guy. That may be tomorrow, it may be next week, it may be next month. But if you think about this, if you get enough of these out there, Then people are just continuing to download and download and download. And in in a in months or a couple years, there's gonna be so many people out there that have this this report. They've learned from you. They they they trust you. And then when they're ready to make a decision about who they're going to move forward with for that particular condition. Why would they call anybody else, right? You've gone through the effort of making this submissions or Chiro Matrix or Inception or Chiro Built. There's a ton of them out there, and you say, "Hey, instead of that crappy newsletter that you have people." their name and email for, which they never do, right? Because no one ever wants a crappy newsletter from a crappy website. I want you to put on there, hey, this is, you know, Dr. Leone's report, special report, 3 Ways to Choose a Chiropractor That Is Best for You, right? Or some, you know, something along those lines. It has to speak to the patient. And obviously it's positioning, you know, it's for your office. Like, what are you really great at? That's what you're gonna write the report about. And they say, I want that on my website, right? Because if I get 200 or 500 or 1,000 people to visit my website, the bounce rate is huge, right? Like 98%. So in other words, 98% of all the people that are visiting your site are gonna do nothing. They're gonna look at it and they're like, ah, this is boring as hell, and then they're out, right? But what you can do, because some of those people will call and make an appointment, some will book online, but not a ton, But those people that are in research mode, they say, oh wow, hey, what's that? I have never seen a doctor that has written a special report. I mean, it's rare, right? I mean, go look at 20 chiropractic websites and you tell me how many of those doctors have an educational report available on their site. What's up guys? Change45 and Tweety8139, nice. And go look at those websites and how many have some type of, you know, educational report that is, you know, informative and blah blah blah. Talk about all that stuff. So talk to website companies, say, hey, I want, I want this on there. And so they will. It's not difficult. And then all those leads go into your CRM, right? Your AWeber, your ActiveCampaign, your Infusionsoft, whatever you're using. All those leads go in there, and then you can continue to communicate with them over time, right? And so then you— what you want to do is set up an autoresponder, which is a series of emails that's going to continue to talk to them over the course of once a week, you know, every couple weeks, whatever it is. And then I know you through you and through this report and then the follow-up sequences. And so that's how you really create a kind of army of people out there that know about you, right? Because, you know, again, there's a lot of people that— and put it on your Facebook fan page, put it on your Instagram account. You know, those— your website, Instagram, and Facebook fan page, those are your 3 primary platforms that you should focus on as a chiropractor. I don't, you know, and other businesses like younger business, you know, a younger business that you know, are geared towards millennials or even younger, you know, yeah, maybe you're gonna be on Snapchat. But for chiropractors, Instagram, Facebook, and your website. Just focus on those 3 things. And just, and again, they're just gonna click on that, put in a name and email, they get that information. Okay, so that's it for today. Woohoo! So do you want the full training? You want to check out the whole 12 ways to Bulletproof Your Practice in 2019, just visit www.chiropracticconsulting.co.
