Hey, it's Dr. Vince Leone here from Specialized Practice, and today I want to talk to you about how to create recurring revenue in your practice with our VIP Maintenance Plan. Now, why is this important? Well, as you grow in practice, your overhead is going to expand. Now, if you can, you know, keep it around 50%, that would be great. Um, 40% is amazing, and But that doesn't change that you still have that nut. So, if you're doing, say, $100,000 a month and your overhead's $50,000, well, every single month you need to make that $50,000 to pay staff and marketing and operational stuff. So, creating a recurring revenue stream, which is now the backbone of every successful business in the country. Look at Amazon. Look at Netflix. Everyone wants to get you on some type of recurring revenue stream because it creates stability, right, for the business. And so you can absolutely do that in practice if you follow a plan such as this. Let's go ahead and dive in. So first of all, what is a VIP maintenance plan? Well, it's going to be ongoing monthly visits to maintain patient results. It's a hedge against them regressing. And whether it's decompression for a disc or chronic knee pain with osteoarthritis or peripheral neuropathy, their best hedge is some type of ongoing maintenance plan. Now, this is auto-debited from their account. So, you want to set it up like a gym membership. It's a use-it-or-lose-it type of situation. And it— you would offer this at the end of their care plan. Now, obviously, we've always had, you know, quote-unquote wellness plans, but no one really buys into wellness, or the very few people buy into wellness. They will buy into maintenance, especially if they've invested $4,000 to $6,000 for a comprehensive plan. So, Words matter and maintenance makes sense. Now, why? Why VIP maintenance? Again, it's going to create a recurring revenue stream. I recommend that you would set it for, you know, everyone goes on the 3rd of the month or the 5th of the month. And ideally, it's tagged to their checking account, not a credit card, because that's easy to To, you know, just cancel. But, you know, if that's all that they'll do, then just do it. It inspires referrals. When patients are regularly coming into your office and they've gotten great results and they're maintaining their results, they're, you know, they're still able to golf, they're still able to play with their grandkids or exercise with their spouse, et cetera, that creates happiness and people wanna share their story. Creates healthier patients. When your patients are tied to your office and they're continuing to get ongoing care, they're continuing to, you know, have their maintenance visits, they're just healthier overall. It's a healthier practice. It will create more consistency, predictability, and obviously revenue for your practice. And it creates big stable practices. Think of this as an additional revenue stream. So you have your core chiropractic practice, Say you have decompression, maybe you have one other niche like knee pain or neuropathy, and then you have your maintenance. You want to create, you want to think of it, hey, this is an additional quote-unquote service and revenue stream so that you can continue to try to put patients into it. Why not wellness plans? Again, wellness does not resonate with people. It doesn't, it's not a priority. So that's why we don't like to use that word. So who is it for? Well, it's for patients that are just finishing care, right? So they've just finished their, you know, treatment plan for disc or knee pain or neuropathy, and then it's always offered at the end of care, obviously, as long as they got the results that you intended. You can also offer it to past patients, right? If you've never done this but you've been offering know, high-value cash services for quite some time, you can 100% do an email campaign, some type of marketing campaign, signage in the office, etc. All that low-tech stuff still really, really works. And then come in, they go through an evaluation. Maybe they need a ramp-up, right? If they haven't been in for, you know, 2 or 3 years, and maybe do 2 weeks of decompression, get them back to where they were. And then they go into the maintenance plan. Now, how does it work with your current patients? Well, you're going to present it at the end of their care plan at the final exam, and you want to have your paperwork ready. First of all, you want to have your paperwork, you know, professionally put together. You don't want to, you know, look like it's— this is a haphazard thing. This needs to be presented so that, hey, this is what every patient receives at the end of their care plan. I recommend Once a month, so a full treatment. So that could be, you know, decompression, it could be shockwave, it could be laser, it could be whatever you put into your protocol. They— it's one full visit with all the therapies, and you want to give them a discount, obviously, because it's going to be a recurring type of thing. Um, say your plan is— or your, your per visit, all the therapies that you do is is $250, well then you give a discount to say $197, okay? Next, how does it work with past patients? Well, take a list of all your past patients. Ideally, these are the niche patients that have gone through care, and then reach out. Email, postcards, phone calls. Offer a free evaluation, talk about your renewal program or your VIP maintenance plan. Now, in terms of revenue possibilities, This is a long-term solution. This is like SEO, right? Or leveraging YouTube. It's not gonna blow the doors off the practice in the first couple months, but over time, it's going to be significant. So you wanna be patient with it. Again, it's gonna be an auto-debit situation. That's part of the paperwork where they're gonna give you their credit card or they're gonna give you their account number so that it gets auto-debited. Uh, if you want to, um, you know, automate this, I like Stripe, uh, stripe.com. This is an online, um, just, you know, payment processor. Very simple. Take their 3%, um, and it gets, you know, auto-debited same day every single month. Um, this is an example of, you know, if you did $149 per patient, um, if you added 2 per month, 24 and 12 months, that's $3,600 a month. After 5 years, that's $18,000 a month. So I want you to expand your thinking. Don't be thinking like, hey, is this going to make, you know, buy me a boat this month? No, no, this is, this is a long-term thinking. So if you're going to be in practice for another 10 years or 20 years, think about starting this now. And it's like an annuity, it's like an ETF, it's like you're going to be putting Quote unquote money or patients into this money flywheel, and it's going to continue to grow over time. Now, will people drop out? Yeah, they will. But, but that should be a low percentage if you're delivering value and patients are getting great results and continuing to get great results and they have a great experience in your office, then they will stick with it. So, what are your action items to implement this? Well, obviously watch this video once on your own and then with your CA who's going to help set up these plans. Now, You can be offering this on the final visit of their care plan, or you can have a staff member do it. But you want to have your office manager or whoever your head CA is, you want them in the loop on this and aware of what, how it works and when you're going to be offering it, what you're going to be charging, and all that type of stuff. So you can offload and delegate this to them. Next, you want to modify your existing schedule consent and finance form so that it essentially pre-frames patients. Hey, we do offer VIP maintenance at the end of the plan. Doctor will speak with you at the appropriate time. And then just start presenting to patients. It's very simple. Sometimes, you know, simple scales, fancy fails. It's an old adage that is very, very true. It's about consistency. Right? If you can be consistent with it and continue to offer it to all your patients that are finishing their plans, you'll get probably about a 40% take rate, something like that. The better you are, maybe 50% take rate. And again, you'll start putting patients in, and before you know it, $2,000 a month, $4,000 a month, $8,000 a month. And again, it will create that predictability and consistency in your practice.
