In this solo training video, Dr. Vince Leone of Specialized Practice Consulting argues that spinal decompression is far from a saturated market and presents three core reasons why chiropractors should adopt it. First, he highlights the massive demand for non‑surgical alternatives, citing 1.2 million spinal surgeries performed annually in the U.S. and the prevalence of failed‑back‑surgery syndrome, indicating many patients could benefit from conservative care. Second, he points out that the majority of providers offering decompression do so without proven protocols, pricing strategies, marketing systems, or patient‑enrollment processes—about 70 % of chiropractors in a given market are “doing it wrong.” Third, he quantifies the cash‑revenue opportunity: 10‑20 % of new patients are disc‑related cases, translating to roughly 2‑4 new decompression patients per month per practice and an estimated $10k‑$20k in cash revenue per month. He stresses that a proper decompression table (≈$12k) can be paid off quickly when paired with the right systems. Throughout, Dr. Leone promotes his coaching service, offering a 15‑minute doc‑to‑doc call to help chiropractors implement the necessary protocols, marketing, pricing, and enrollment frameworks, promising a functional high‑ticket cash care plan within 90 days.

Hey everyone, Dr. Vince Leone here with Specialized Practice Consulting, and we help doctors add and grow high-ticket niches like spinal decompression, peripheral neuropathy, chronic knee pain. And high-ticket niche, that's just my term, but that's a high-value cash service, right? And so what I want to talk to you today about really quickly is, is decompression dead, right? Because I get this question a lot. From, you know, people thinking about doing this. And they say, is the market too saturated? Which I think is kind of silly, right? So I'm gonna give you 3 big reasons why decompression absolutely is not dead and the market is absolutely not saturated. So number 1 is, did you know there's 1.2 million spinal surgeries done per year in the United States? Okay. So that is a ton, and what I can tell you is a lot of those patients do not need surgery. A lot of those patients have repeat surgeries. They even coined a term, failed low back surgery syndrome. So that's the first one, is there's too many people going to drugs and surgery. And so in other words, we need more doctors in towns to provide an alternative and to get their message out there and let patients know Hey, surgery is always— is never going anywhere. It's always going to be available, but you should be trying every non-surgical approach first. And gosh, if you think people don't understand chiropractic, they don't even know about spinal decompression, okay? The vast majority of people, okay? So that's number one. That's the number one reason. There's a ton of people out there going to surgery, and we need more doctors to get their message out in the community and let them know there's an alternative, a very, very good alternative. And it should be exhausted first before going into surgery. Reason number 2 is the vast majority of doctors that have a table out there are doing it wrong. They don't have proven protocols. They don't know how to optimize their price point. They don't know how to market effectively, and they don't know how to enroll them into high-ticket care plans. So even if there's 10 chiropractors in your community, offering spinal decompression, I'd probably say 70% don't know what the heck they're doing. Now I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just telling you we were doing big numbers in practice, you know, big, big numbers. So when I— and so when I talk to doctors and tell them, hey, these are the systems and the protocols and the strategies to do this correctly, the vast majority of them aren't doing any of them. That's why they— that's why they hire me, because I show them the model, they follow the model, they get great results. Okay, so that's reason number 2, to not worry about whether decompression is saturated in your market. Number 3 is you probably would like to make more money. You would probably like to increase your cash revenue and decrease your reliance on insurance, and that is what decompression does. If you take a look, average chiropractor gets about 20 new patients a month. In my experience, not only in practice running a Like big volume, but also all our clients around the country, about 10 to 20% of all new patients coming into your practice, just coming into your practice, not marketing for spinal decompression, are disc patients. They have a bulge, they have a herniation, or they have degenerative disc, right? By the way, 80% of patients 60 years and older have some form of degenerative disc disease. So you can, if you had a table and if you had that service, You would be able to enroll 10 to 20% of just your existing new patient flow, so that is 2 to 4 new patients a month into your decompression plan, right? So what would that equate? That would equate to somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000 to $20,000 in cash per month. Do you want to work smarter, not harder? Do you want to put less stress and strain on your body? Do you want to decrease your reliance on insurance? Do you want to increase— Your income. your cash revenue stream and be able to sock money away. Because that is what spinal decompression is possible for any chiropractor if they have the right tools and strategies that we employ. So that is the number— the third reason is this really— I believe every chiropractor should have a spinal decompression table. Every chiropractor, right? Because it is the best tool for A disc problem, and you are a spinal expert, and you're gonna get disc problems every single month in your practice. So I hope this has been helpful for you, and I hope this has squashed this notion that spinal decompression is saturated or too many doctors have it. It's, it's, it's absolutely silly, and I just know this because I've been in this space for a long, long time, and, um, And, you know, not only personally but also teaching doctors and coaching doctors how to do it. And just, you know, empirically just talking to tons of doctors about this. And I just know that there's a tremendous opportunity. It's just, it's like, you know, it's like buying a laser. Hey, a laser can provide a tremendous revenue stream for you. It can help increase your effectiveness with your patients. But we'll talk about laser, yeah, laser at another time. Right now, spinal decompression—it is a no-brainer. You can get a brand new table from KDT for like 12k, and you can pay it off in the first month. It's a no-brainer. Like my client, Dr. Sherwood, she just texted me last week. She got her tables like two weeks ago, and then the week after, she signed up two new patients in Monday morning. Okay, so it happens and can happen so fast. Okay, but you got to have the protocols. You gotta have the marketing, you gotta have the systems, you gotta be able to optimize your price point, and you gotta be able to enroll patients into care, right, into these high-ticket care plans. And so you can't use your same old ROF. You need to really be able to create clarity and confidence for the patient. But that's what we do, right? We help doctors with this process. And by the way, it happens fast. Usually our doctors are up and running within 90 days, and boom, they're They have a high-ticket cash care plan or cash revenue stream in their practice.
