His clinic currently maintains six laser units and one shockwave device, and he is considering adding a second shockwave machine. He notes that he has been using shockwave therapy for only two years, whereas his laser practice dates back to the first laser acquired in 2016. The increase in demand for both modalities is attributed primarily to word‑of‑mouth referrals, with patients repeatedly recommending the treatments to others.

But my experience is a large percentage of the patients are going to choose the laser and shockwave, which is why we can keep 6 lasers and we have 1 shockwave. We are thinking about getting maybe a second one. I have only had the shockwave for 2 years. The lasers I have had since, well, the first one 2016. But the reason that has grown is just recommending it patient after patient after patient.
