Dr. Vince Leone chose shockwave therapy over stem cell injections for his practice. Stem cells were expensive with logistical headaches, while shockwave therapy proved more practical and cost-effective while delivering strong patient results.
We were looking at getting into the regen medicine space as far as stem cell injectables and those types of things. And the more I looked into it, I was really excited about it all in the beginning. You know, and and this was five or six, maybe a little bit more long or longer ago, years ago. But I found shockwave at that point, and when I looked into it, the and I have buddies who do all the injectables, and you know they say it's great. But you know I. I was just not ready to do, to do that in my practice because when I looked at the pros and cons of it, and a lot of people get great results with stem cell. I think it's a great modality, or not a modality, but a great treatment. But, um, I just wasn't sold totally on the cost of it and all the things that went into having and being able to, uh, have that type of, of, of, of practice. Um, yeah. So I found shockwave in the, in the midst of doing all this, and I really kind of turned my head. Toward the shockwave because it seemed like a much better option in the regenerative space. So I did. I went that way, and I can say that it was by far for me the best thing that I've ever done in my practice. Incredible results.
