Dr. Vince Leone explains how shockwave therapy pinpoints inflamed or damaged tissue like arthritis. Because patients can see exactly where treatment targets, they trust it immediately, unlike laser therapy which offers no visual feedback.
If you teach them what's about to happen, they will say, oh, that's the bad spot. The patient, you know, these machines uncover areas of inflamed tissue, damaged tissue, tissue and diseased tissue like arthritis, right? So when you're doing that, it's really easy to get the patient, unlike laser, which has always been my issue with lasers, with these devices, you don't, they don't need to trust you. If you teach them what's about to happen, they will say, oh, that's the bad spot. Yeah, that's the bad spot, right? You get instant buy-in from the patient understanding what's happening here.
