What's up everybody? Dr. Vince Leone here. Quick episode for Dr. Vince Presents today. We're going over— this is episode 36, I believe. This is success tips from Uncle Jay. That would be Grant Cardone. And listening— I've read most of his books. I think I've read 4 of his books, but I started getting his books on audio because he reads it himself and they're really, really good. So if you haven't done it, highly recommend it. But here's 4 that really resonated with me. The first one was be unreasonable. Okay? So being reasonable typically leads to being average, right? And it's not saying act like an idiot, but it is saying that most of society lead very common, reasonable lives, and if we want something extraordinary, we need to be unreasonable in terms of our expectations, our goals, and our actions, okay? So, you know, the question is, would we have the internet, would we have Facebook, would we have YouTube, would we have Tesla if those people inventors, founders were reasonable in their lives? And the answer is obviously no. So be unreasonable. Next, be dangerous. I love this one because just saying it kind of makes me feel like a badass. So stop being careful in life, right? When you start striving for high levels, more is going to be expected of you. You're going to be playing up here. There's going to be more at stake. Okay, so you need to be Trained sufficiently so you will survive and thrive, right? So, you know, so skill up, step up. To do something big, you have to embrace danger. And, you know, I catch myself like telling my daughters, you know, be, you know, be careful, you know, don't run in the house and don't— Look, when was the last time we actually got hurt, right? I mean, so I gotta really like kind of focus on this for myself and especially as a parent because, you know, I want kids that are going after it, right? So be dangerous. 3, create wealth, okay? Make it a priority to get your money right, as Uncle G said. Get your money right. Get your money right. He loves saying, who's got my money? You know, it's not that we have to be infatuated with money, but we have to make it a priority to get our money right, okay? Because that has a big effect on everything else in our life. And the wealthy know that there's plenty of money in the world, okay? It's just a matter of providing enough service, products in exchange for large amounts of it. There's no shortage of money on this planet. There's plenty, okay? You know, they've been printing this stuff for years. So think in terms of creating money, creating wealth, and less about salaries and conserving funds. You know, the biggest— and I'm sure you've heard this before— the best investment you can make is in yourself. At this— I mean, depending on where you're at in practice, But we may not want to invest our savings so much so that we can just save, but more like save to invest in something specific so we can multiply that money. Okay. Obviously, you know, you want to get a nest egg of whatever, X number of months of, you know, 6 months or so of operating capital so that, you know, things go completely sideways, you're covered. But after that, man, it's like, hey, we want to save money so that we can invest that money, you know, and put it into something that's going to multiply over time. So, and if possible, get next to large flows of money, see if you can get some of that. And then finally, readily take action. This is his biggest thing. That's why it's called the 10X Rule, is 10X your actions. But The highly successful take tons of action, right? Whether it's promoting their product or service or just grinding it out daily, right? You know, sometimes we're not going to see the fruits of our labor anytime soon, right? So we're putting in the work now, we're planting seeds, and it's going to— it will pay off. It's just not going to pay off anytime soon. So it's— but being comfortable with that, right? Even if they're on vacation, right? Still Still quote unquote working because honestly it's not really work to them. I mean, even me, I mean, if I'm out and about, I'll just— I mean, I'm posting or liking or, you know, doing something to make use of my time. But for the really successful, it's not work, it's fun, right? Because they're winning at life and that's when it gets really good. And success leads to success, just like failure leads to failure. I mean, that's why when people are on a slide, it's like, man, why does this shit keep happening to me? Well, you know, because success leads to success and failure leads to failure. So you gotta snap yourself out of it. And by the way, this is not something that you're born with. This is a muscle, you know, in terms of taking tons and tons of action, right? Taking massive action. on a daily basis to grow your practice, your life, etc. That is a muscle that you need to develop. You're not born with it. No one's born with it. It's a matter of developing that and getting used to it, making it a habit so that things continue to happen for you. And this is the one thing really that is most in our control is how much action we take in our life to improve our practice in our life. So it could be the defining thing between having a really, really cool life and then having one that's not that great, you know, or just average, right? So hey, who wants that?
