Dr. Vince Leone explores Maxwell Maltz's Psycho-Cybernetics, a book born from Maltz's 1950s discovery that plastic surgery patients still saw themselves as disfigured. Maltz developed step-by-step techniques to reprogram thought patterns, offering practical methods where Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich stayed philosophical.

My second book is Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. So this is a really great book. It's on its like second or third edition. There's, uh, it was the, the whole, or the rights to the book was bought by, uh, this guy Matt Fury, who was a, you know, a big, big-time student of Maxwell Maltz. But, um, Maxwell Maltz was a, um, a surgeon. And in like the '50s, and, uh, he would, you know, correct like disfigurements, and he would do nose jobs, and, and, and, you know, he was, uh, excellent in his field. Um, but what he found was people say they had a disfigured like lip, like cleft-lipped or something. They, even though they had the surgery and it was perfect, in their mind They still saw themselves as disfigured. And so that really intrigued him about digging into the power of the mind and how to change it. And so when I was talking about with Think and Grow Rich, where it's more high level, with Psycho-Cybernetics, it's, it's, it's very tactical about how to change your thinking.
