Dr. Vince Leone explains why doctors rarely take real vacations: they pay for the trip and lose the revenue they would have earned while away. Many settle for long weekends instead.
And then paying for vacations twice, right? If you're even taking a vacation, some doctors don't even take vacations, or they'll take like, you know, a long weekend, right? Maybe they take a 3-day weekend and that's their vacation, which is really sad. But if you do take a vacation, you're out of the office for a week or so, you pay for it twice, right? Because you pay for the vacation itself and then you pay for the lost revenue, which is not fun.
