In this free training video, Dr. Vince Leone advises healthcare practice owners—especially chiropractors—on how to allocate their online marketing budget. He argues that many practitioners are over‑investing in paid social (Facebook) and search (Google) ads, whose costs are rising and lead quality is declining. Instead, he recommends shifting at least $500 per month to local SEO, citing three main advantages: (1) higher‑quality patients who have researched their condition and find the practice organically, (2) consistent, evergreen visibility because organic rankings persist without daily spend, and (3) a strong return on investment when a practice ranks in the top three organic results on the first page. Dr. Vince stresses that SEO requires a long‑term commitment—minimum three months, ideally six to twelve—to see measurable results. He cites The HOTH’s local business SEO package (about $500/month) as a cost‑effective option, while warning to vet any provider’s track record. He also promotes his Client Elevation Group, which helps practices focus on one high‑impact marketing “domino” at a time, simplifying implementation and reducing stress. Hey everyone, Dr. Vince here. Welcome to another training, free training here. And today I want to talk about what are some good decisions we can make with our investment, our marketing dollars that we're going to invest online. And the— I'm going to take over. Funny thing, I don't need glasses, but I highly recommend these if you— I've had some comments like, hey, this, it seems like there's this glare. If you, you know, work on a computer a lot or a phone, there's this blue light that comes out and it can really cause eye fatigue and strain and headaches too. So you can get these on Amazon for like $10, but they cut that blue out of there. So I highly recommend those. But anyways, back to the— back to our digital marketing. Look, in terms of marketing in general, I typically like to zag when other people are zigging, if you kind of understand. You know, a lot of people are in all over Facebook. You know, we see all the advertising for all the Facebook marketing companies and this, that, and the other. I moved to direct mail. Matter of fact, you may have gotten some from me. But in terms of, if we're going to stay within the digital marketing realm, I think one component that you could probably maybe get some market share and get some more traction with is SEO. Because as Facebook ads, the costs are going up, the quality's going down. I'm sure you know that. Same with Google. It happened with Google years ago. It still can work, but with SEO, there's a couple reasons why I like it. One, the quality of the patient's typically really good, and here's why. Because they're doing research on this particular condition, and they found you organically, right? So when they go to a Google page and they're searching for chiropractors or treatment for neuropathy or stem cell or knee pain, whatever it is, They know where the ads are, right? I mean, it says ad, and people are just very savvy these days. They understand the ads are on the right, and the ads are on the top, and the ads are on the bottom, and in the middle, you know, there's a little section for the organic reach, and they typically list, well, I think it's 3 of the top organic listings. And as doctors have really tried to move into, you know, You know, first getting into Facebook, then figuring out, okay, well, how do we get higher quality and blah blah blah? So they're kind of they're putting effort there. But so when they you know when you when you push your dollars there, you typically take it away from SEO if you were doing SEO at all in the first place. And but anyways, so the reason why I like that you know SEO in terms of the higher quality patient is. These patients, they've done their research. They're not necessarily looking for the offer, right? Because they know with an ad, they're gonna get an offer. They're gonna get some type of treatment package for typically some low price. These patients are looking for quality. They're doing their research, right? So that's one, the quality of it. 2 is because the consistency, right? People are always out there searching, right? And when our ads— or sorry, when our listings show up organically, they'll always be showing up organically. So in other words, if you can rise up through the ranks on the SEO and be on the first page— and you got to be on the first page, right? You have to be on the first page. If you're not on the first page, you don't exist. Because I think it's 90% of people make their decisions on the first page alone. So, you know, they rarely go to the next, even page 2. So you definitely want to, got to be on the first page. But once you get up there, you know, yeah, you need to continue to, you know, do what it takes to stay there. But it's not like Facebook ads where you turn off the Facebook ads and it's done. You know, I mean, it will stop right that day. You know, you will trend down over time. And so what I think has happened is as doctors have, you know, moved more into digital paid advertising, they moved away from SEO. And so I just think it provides an opportunity there. So what I would recommend doing is, I don't know that I would turn to your website company because, you know, it's like jack of all trades, or they're not really super good at one thing. I'm sure they offer SEO services, right? Yeah. But whether they're any good at it, who knows? I don't know, I mean, maybe you can call 5 of their clients and ask them what the results have been. But, you know, there's a company, I'm not affiliated with them, but it's called thehoth.com, H-O-T-H dot com. And they have this like local business package, I think it's $500 a month. So, you know, and by the way, if you're gonna do SEO, you gotta be in it for the long haul. Like minimum 3 months, more like 6 months to where you'll really see the results from it. But if you offer really any type of chiropractic service, but say you offer neuropathy treatment or, you know, one of these kind of essentially higher-priced care plans, and you invest $500 a month over the course of 12 months, and you are ranking consistently on the first page, you know, in that top 3 of the organic listings, and you convert just a couple patients a month, I mean, your return is going to be phenomenal, right? So it's just, you know, look, this is one of the things Yeah. And one of the things that, you know, I am working with on this new group called the Client Elevation Group where we, one at a time, we just pick one thing that we're going to tackle, one big domino that will have long-term results. So, like, this is a great example. Okay, we're going to either trend down $500 off our digital marketing budget or we're just going to hold off on Facebook ads right now and maybe look at some other avenues, but we're going to put You know, $500 a month into SEO and get that done, get that taken care of, and then we'll continue to reap results over the course of, you know, certainly the next year, 'cause that's how long I work with these clients. But just one thing at a time. What this does is it takes your to-do list from this to this, and it simplifies things, it reduces stress, it reduces complexity. So if you're interested in finding out more about that, go to clientelevationgroup.com. Awesome. And you can— you'll fill out an application where it's essentially a questionnaire. Gives me information about your practice, get a good idea of whether we would be a good fit, and then we'll jump on the phone and chat about it. So, that's it for today. I hope that is some helpful information for you. Take a look at SEO if you're not already doing it, and it could be a really, really nice additional Marketing campaign for your practice. Again, that company is thehoth.com and look for their local business because normally, you know, some of the other services like two grand a month or something like this one's just five hundred bucks a month. But again, I don't have anything you know affiliated with them. I've just heard good things about them. If you don't want to use them, look at some other SEO companies. But just you know again, got to be prepared to be committed to it. So that, you know, you actually get the long-term results from it. So anyways, that's it for now. I hope this was valuable for you. I'm Dr. Vince, and we'll see you in the next training video. Take care.
