Confused about Inner Resistance?

This is a YouTube video titled "Confused about Inner Resistance?" featuring a conversation between Eckhart Tolle and another speaker. Recorded in October 2017, the discussion centers on spiritual concepts such as inner resistance, consciousness, and manifestation, with Eckhart Tolle providing guidance and insights to the other participant who shares their personal experiences as a financial planner turned energy healer.
Wait.
That'S good. Release it all, whatever it all is.
I'm very nervous to be asking my question because I feel like I have a lot of confusion, but I know that that's a good place to be asking my question from. I've been a financial planner for 33 years.
Sorry, what? Planner?
A financial planner for 33 years and went back to school. School six years ago to become an energy healer. And I love it because I don't have to know as a financial planner, I had to know. You know, I had to give answers. But with energy healing, I get to hang out in the unknown. And it's really fun for me. And I'm not attached to the outcome for my clients. I know something's happening, but I don't know what is happening always. And I love that. So the. The question that I have for you. Wait. Has to do with something you said this afternoon that I got very confused about. Any resistance closes the channel, and I know that I have a powerful effect on anyone that I come in contact with. I know I vibrate at a very high consciousness level, and then I'm here to contribute on that level. And I'm very good at manifesting. But the place that I'm confused about is that I don't know how to figure out those internal resistances. I'm not clear on that. I'm clear on all the external resistances. Like, do you want to do this or that? No. Yes. But I get confused about being in the source and knowing when I'm in the source versus when I'm maybe in my egoic creation because I'm so good at manifesting.
So what is in your daily life, your state of consciousness? Do you undergo great fluctuations in your state of consciousness? Do you still experience the pain body? Occasionally. Coming up. What are your thought patterns throughout the day? Do you have episodes of negative thinking that you identify with? To what extent are you able to be aware of your thoughts? Or do you get taken over by streams of thinking on a daily basis? What is your state of consciousness in your daily life?
I'm very good at witnessing myself. I'm fairly good at being able to make a choice in the moment, a different choice in the moment. When I'm witnessing myself. I've done a lot of work on my pain body. I think where I have a challenge is in something along the lines of clarity as to there's like a fear or something that runs maybe in me, along the lines of knowing that I'm good at manifesting and not wanting to Go in a direction of manifesting when I'm not sure that that's the direction. So there's that confusion. And the piece that you said this afternoon. Any resistance closes the channel. I just keep sitting with that going, where? Where's my resistance? That's closing the channel.
Well, only you can know that the resistance arises as negative thinking that you are identified with. Then an emotional contraction that reflects the negative thinking. Maybe there isn't very much resistance and that's why you get confused. You're looking for something that isn't there anymore. Maybe you think there must be some resistance. Where is it? I'm confused now.
It could be because I have spent my life on a very deep healing journey and been very open, you know, to always looking at those places.
Yes. So trust yourself. And not only not the personal self, but the deeper self and what emanates from that. And it seems to me that you are fine. You don't need to be concerned about resistance right now. There's already enough presence in you to dissolve it when it comes. Nobody needs to be demand that they should be totally free of resistance or that they should be totally conscious on a continuous basis. That is not necessary. Just detecting when you are not conscious is fine. Every time you detect a dysfunctional state that you have slipped into in a relationship or at work or wherever you may be, then the moment you know it, the moment you lost it, so to speak. That's an expression, I lost it, which usually means in common usage, I got very angry. But here, but here I'm using it in a wider sense. When you say I lost, it means I lost presence, I lost consciousness. I got totally identified with the stream of thinking. I got totally identified with the pain body. I lost it. The way we use it here, or I use it means I lost presence completely. So you may sometimes still lose it, but I believe you're fine. I don't think there's that much resistance. Your mind is perhaps looking for a problem where there isn't one.
You could.
And that, by the way, is not uncommon because the mind always looks for. For a problem somewhere. It's amazing. You could take a person to heaven, a person who is not. You are okay. You'll be fine in heaven. But if you take a normal person to heaven, normal meaning unconscious, he would get very unhappy because where is the problem? He would find something wrong. Peace would be very threatening. They're not ready for that. You are ready for heaven. It seems so. Embrace it.
Okay. Thank you, Ra.
