How Can We Resolve Overpopulation?

Thank you, Eckhart, for sharing the presence. Once again, my question is somewhat related to that last one from a different perspective. As the consciousness rises around us, there are many more resources in many new technologies to ease the suffering of humankind around the world. But the white elephant in the room that no one seems to want to acknowledge in that process is the fact that the population is increasing faster and faster. It seems, I guess you can phrase that question so the answer is included. But I'd like to hear your perspective on what we might do to facilitate that process or how that process will take care of itself.

Can you be clear? What is the process?

You refer to how the strain on the planet's resources is a result of the population increasing ever faster. How will we be able to resolve that conflict?

Yes, well, it's obvious that the population cannot go on increasing because that would lead to disastrous consequences. Ultimately that's fine too, because the one consciousness will manifest through any form it chooses, again and again, and is evolving. But it is quite possible that the larger intelligence that is that underlies the planet, the planet. There is an intelligence that pervades the planet itself. The planet is an intelligent being, which mainstream science would of course not agree with, but I very strongly feel that. And anybody who becomes sensitive enough and no longer totally absorbed in conceptual thinking can sense that the entire planet is an intelligent being. It has a regulating intelligence. And I feel that if humans don't take action to reduce this proliferation of bodies they continuously produce, if humans don't take positive action, then the regulating intelligence of the planet, planetary intelligence, is just one another expression of the one universal intelligence, will take action and will do something to reduce the number of human beings on the planet. This is my feeling. I cannot prove to you that this is a correct prediction prognostication. But the intelligence will take action. And whether the action it takes is a violent form of action or whether the action it takes is non violent, I don't know. For planetary intelligence, it would be very easy to reduce humans within one generation by making, by reducing the fertility in the sperm of men, fertility in the sperm of men. So that very far fewer babies are produced. And within one or two generations the population could be reduced by 50%. If many men are not able to father children anymore simply because something is missing there, that would be problemless. So if I, I'm not in charge of planetary intelligence. But if I, that's what I would do. It's totally painless, don't have to kill anybody. So. But we shouldn't wait for that we need to look and see if we. First, of course, we need to discover the wisdom inside. If we only approach it from the analytical mind, we'll just create. We tackle one problem here and we create a series of more problems on top of that. So we need to become go within, find the wisdom that is in the stillness, go within. And then the question is whether those people who are able to do that are those people that take decisions. Probably not, because the politicians are not there yet. Well, most of them. But we are making a start here. So first, so that you can take intelligent action, go within, never act from fear or kind of panic. We need to save the planet. Oh my God. This is. You generate fear. You generate fear. Nothing good can come out of that. Even if your intentions are good. Any action that is taken on the basis of fear is going to have negative consequences and secondary effects. So first we become still and peaceful and realize the truth of the beginning of the course in miracles which says nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God. Okay, now what action can we take? If you are not in a powerful position, at least perhaps you can come up with ideas that come out of the stillness. I don't have a series of actions that mankind should take because this teaching doesn't work in that way. This teaching is designed to take the individual human being deep enough within so that they can connect with the source of who they are and everything else other people will have to do. Because the focus of this teaching isn't in outer action, but it goes to the source of all intelligence and act with the source of who they are and everything else other people will have to do.
