This is a YouTube video titled "Kim Eng, Can You Comment About Energy?" containing a dialogue from October 9, 2012, where Kim Eng discusses concepts related to Qi, Dao, energy, and spirituality. The conversation explores the nature of energy and its relationship to spiritual ideas such as God and Dao. The speakers engage in a reflective and philosophical exchange about these topics.
So the question I wanted to ask you is, could you comment on the relationship of Qi, which is the relationship of qi to Dao, which is Buddhist, I think. I know it is.
How do you experience it?
I'm not crying. This is just water.
Yeah. Tears are usually water.
I experience qi energy. Like, I feel, like, a lot of energy. So I think of energy as formed, as something that's formed. It can be kind of gross. Like, the energy I feel now, I feel it's very gross, or it can be very fine, but it's all energy. And I feel that Dao, if it's what I think it means, is more like God, which is not energy. That's my opinion, and I really was.
But what makes you think that energy is not God?
Well, it is, of course. I mean, everything is. Everything is part of that, but.
So may I ask you, are you trying to separate the two? I'm sorry, May I ask whether. Are you trying to separate the two? Like, there's Dao here, there's God here, and there's energy here.
Well, I'm not trying, but maybe that's what I'm doing. It's possible, yeah.
