This is a YouTube video titled "Science And Consciousness: A Conversation With Lothar Schäfer" containing a multi-speaker discussion from October 21, 2014, focused on themes of human evolution, cooperation, and the emergence of a new human species. The speakers include Lothar Schäfer and others, but Eckhart Tolle is not present in the conversation.
Now there is a new mind emerging, maybe a new human species. And there are signs for this that would fit. Contrary to what we learn or being told about evolution, like Darwin said, nature doesn't make jump. Well, the evolution of life proceeded in jumps. It made jumps. And the jumps typically happened when the Earth got in stress, like in an ice age. Life survived. Not because some life forms were better than others and ate everybody else. No, because they cooperated. And you can see how now the Earth is beginning to be under stress. You see at the same time how the world is globalizing. There is more and more support for international cooperation. Rather than making another war, we may be at the beginning of a new leap. And out of it will come a new human being. It's possible.
Yes. Yes.
And you have also written about this.
Yes, Yes, I believe that's how it is. Us talking here and us being here together is perhaps already part of that emergence.
The new human being will believe in cooperation, not in competition, will believe in kindness and support, not in. In violence and war and all that. So that's what I believe. And it's, in a way, an optimistic view.
Yes, but I would share that.
But it's not stupid. It may actually be the only way you can look at how things are developing.
