This is a YouTube video titled "The intelligence people don't talk about | Eckhart Tolle @ NYU" containing a talk by Eckhart Tolle from November 22, 2023. In this talk, Eckhart Tolle discusses a higher state of consciousness involving awareness beyond the thinking mind, emphasizing a non-conceptual intelligence that is often overlooked in education and society.
The fourth state of consciousness, a little bit of awareness needs to arise to be there so that you can become aware what's happening on the level of thinking, on the level of your mind. You suddenly another dimension arises in you. And from that dimension you can observe the way in which your mind operates. And before you were completely identified with it. But now you are no longer the thinking mind. You are the intelligence behind the thinking mind. That intelligence itself is not a conceptual intelligence. It's higher, we can say deeper than conceptual intelligence. That, by the way, is not an intelligence that is encouraged in our civilization. It is not. The non conceptual intelligence is not something that is given much attention to in higher education or lower education.
