This is a YouTube video titled "The Meditation Realization" containing a monologue or talk from June 1, 2015, focused on meditation and the concept of spaciousness within oneself. The speaker guides the audience through a meditation practice involving conscious breathing to achieve inner space and awareness. There is only one speaker, and the content is instructional and reflective in nature.
I only have one thing to show you or teach you. It's not teaching. Teaching would mean giving you, giving knowledge to your mind. So the only real reason is to find the spaciousness within who you are, beyond the person. What could be more important than that? All the ancient teachings pointed to it using different words. And yet humans. Only a few people here and there ever got it. The history of humanity. But now it's happening on a wider scale. Thank you. I'm grateful for that. So now let's just experience a little bit spaciousness. For example. Now don't need to think. Here's the space. Here's the thinking and here's the space. Some people find it helpful to be aware of their breathing. One conscious breath. A breath consists of the in breath and the out breath. And a conscious breath means as you breathe in and out, your awareness is there on the breath. Breath is formless, relatively formless. So it gets you closer to the formless consciousness to be aware of your breath. This is the ancient breath meditation. But I often say just one conscious breath brings some space or helps you realize some space inside you. Your tension follows the breath as it moves into the body and out. And while it does that, you are not thinking. You can't, because then you are not following the breath with your attention. And while you are following the breath with your attention in and out, you become spacious. So one conscious breath is a mini meditation. Nobody can tell me that they don't have time during the day to take one conscious breath from time to time. Everybody has time for that. The busiest person. And two is even better. Let's make it three.
