Short excerpt from an Eckhart Tolle YouTube talk arguing that human evolution has not ended but is at an early stage of a much larger, universal awakening of consciousness; frames individuals as temporary expressions of that awakening.
We tend to believe that evolutionary process has created humans. But many people, we have arrived now. Evolution has come to an end. It hasn't. It's really only the beginning, the early stages of something vast, a vast, universal movement of consciousness. The entire universe is awakening, and you are a temporary expression in this particular form of the awakening universe.
