If you are a woman who almost always feels that something is missing, this is why. Sages have a teaching about the female energy. That is, in Kabbalah, feminine is the vessel, what we call malchut, part of creation that came to this world in order to receive, to draw everything in. And it is the nature of a vessel, any vessel, to feel that it has an empty space, because that is exactly what allows it to receive. The empty space is what builds the desire, and the desire is what draws any energy or light in. So that ache you carry, that sense that there is more, or that there is something potentially wrong with you, or sensing that something isn't in your life the way it needs to be, just know that that comes from the nature of the vessel. And in fact, there is nothing wrong with you. A woman who knows that the empty space is simply a desire, she walks gracefully into a room. She does not look to take from anyone. She is happy on her own. And she trusts through her desire and not through her neediness. She can draw in the right energy, the right partner, and ultimately the presence of miracles through the light of the Creator.
