A short YouTube monologue arguing that asking someone “Are you okay?” can unintentionally project judgment and place them in an energy of lack. The speaker explains this using the metaphor/theory of the ‘evil eye’ (drawing from Kabbalistic language) and the principle "where attention goes, energy flows," warns that focusing on what’s wrong amplifies weakness, and suggests alternative, open questions (e.g., “How are you feeling?” “What’s on your heart today?”) and a closing mantra to replace judgment with light.

When you ask someone, are you okay? We often think this is showing concern. But energetically, that question can actually place a form of evil eye on the person. Why is this? Because the moment you ask someone, are you okay? You are assuming something is wrong with them. You're in a very subtle way, placing them in a position and energy of lack. Even if you mean well, that question carries an unconscious judgment of the person. It puts your focus on what's off in their energy, what's wrong with them, rather than their strength, their resilience, or their light. And where attention goes, energy flows. Kabbalah teaches that evil eye isn't just about jealousy, it's about the gaze of judgment. Anytime you look at someone through the lens of what's wrong, you amplify what's wrong. You pull focus onto their weakness instead of their wholeness. And in doing so, you may unintentionally reinforce their struggle instead of helping them rise above it. Instead of saying are you okay? Ask how are you feeling? What's on your heart today? Is there anything you'd like to share? Now, instead of projecting lack, you're giving them space. Instead of pulling energy towards what's wrong, you're holding a vibration of openness and strength. Here's a mantra for you. I replace judgment with light. I see others in their highest energy. I affirm their strength, their wholeness and their divine protection.
