Why is it that the moment two people become comfortable in a relationship, the chemistry dies? First off, a lot of people believe that if you get to know each other and the mystery is gone, then there will not be a spark. It is that belief system alone that is creating that destiny. A person who is actually quite delusional in knowing that chemistry can last forever will attract the reality that will show them how to achieve that level of connection. Just because we see around us that other relationships are failing. Just because the statistics show that the more you get to know someone, the less attracted you become to them. This is false. And part of our spiritual work is to rise above this belief system and to know that chemistry, attraction, and connection can last for you, no matter what, even as time goes by, even as you become more comfortable with each other, and even as your relationship progresses.
