Ep.35 Manifesting Clarity: Using Prayer to Simplify Your Life

Podcast episode 35 (David Gilliam) opens with live-event tour announcements and then teaches a Kabbalistic approach to using prayer to simplify life and manifest clarity. Core claims: prayer forms a "vessel" or spiritual filter that changes what circumstances and people can enter your life; prayer used to seek clarity (not merely to escape pain) reshapes destiny; three prioritized prayer-types from the Zohar (King David, Moses, the poor) explain different effects based on responsibility, spiritual purification, and broken-but-joyful surrender. Practical advice includes speaking prayers aloud (e.g., while walking) to formulate intentions and to receive clarity over the following 24 hours.

Welcome everyone to podcast episode 35. This is David Gilliam Podcast. I wanted to first talk about my upcoming tour so that you know the dates and when I may be coming to your city. I've been giving these live events all around, manifesting soulmate relationships, abundance, wealth, prosperity, and how to break through limited beliefs that could be holding us back from miracles. I'll be in Miami March 30, New York April 6, back in Los Angeles April 27, and London, the only city I will be visiting in Europe for now, May 4th. These events have been absolutely life changing, especially since a lot of people are coming together and meeting each other, creating a spiritual community, which I find to be so profound and really the only way for us to grow. It's to have friendship, community and connect to like minded souls who can help us on the journey. So hope to be able to see you at a live event soon. Let's talk about the energy of this week. One of the energies that are coming down into this world at this time is this idea of being able to simplify our lives. And what often people don't know is that they have the ability to ask the creation to simplify things for them. You are able to put a spiritual filter on this world so that certain people do not come to you. Certain circumstances that are draining you or lowering your vibration do not come down into your life. You are able to put on a spiritual filter whereby only things that are blessings to you or miracles for you will be able to come to you. And we know this because we see how powerful and effective prayer is. Prayer, which we've been speaking a lot about in our classes, and if you've been watching some of our videos, prayer is the most powerful technology in order to create a vessel for the light of the Creator. But what does that really mean? What does it mean to create a vessel? A vessel is simply a revelation of a new destiny. When you have a greater vessel, a different vessel than what you had before, you have a different movie, you have different actors, you have different relationships coming in. Change your vessel and you change your movie. This is what actually puts the filter on your creation. You know, many times you go to websites and you're looking for maybe an article of clothing and they're showing you everything for men, for women, they're showing you formal wear, loungewear, casual shoes, shirts, pants. You're only looking for something specific, but you're having to sift through all these products. There are filters that are provided so you can actually go and put that you're Only looking for something for women in a certain color, in a certain size, maybe for a certain occasion. And the filter will grant you a more condensed view of what is available and relevant to you. We can do the same thing with our consciousness. Our vessel is comprised of our desires, of our intentions. And part of what prayer does is it helps us solidify what our desires and intentions are. For example, the sages say that if you went for a walk and talked to the Creator out loud for one hour about any topic, and you clarify to yourself and to the Creator something you desire. For example, you said, I desire clarity about my relationship. I desire clarity about my career, whether I should stay or I should go. And you asked literally over and over again for an hour, what is the right thing to do? What do I need to change in order to know what the right thing to do is? Creator, guide me, show me, help me find clarity in this decision. And you repeated that over and over again for 10 minutes, for 30 minutes, for an hour. You have now cast a spiritual filter on this universe. You will not be able to see anything but the answers that are being shown to you. You will be experiencing the both the wisdom and the challenges that are necessary for you to get the answer to your question. Isn't that what we want? If you need clarity about a certain situation in your life, let's say it is about a relationship. All you have to do is go for a walk, talk out loud to the Creator, Even if you feel no one's listening to you, even if you feel it's weird, just start. The motion, the vibration of your voice, the vibration that is coming from your consciousness and from your desires, are creating spiritual filters around your destiny, around your soul. And what you will experience for the next 24 hours are the perfect scenarios that are needed for you to get clarity about your situation. And it's amazing because in the 25 years that I've been studying Kabbalah, this has been one of the most powerful tools that my teachers, mentors, have given me and that I've read in the books of the sages. The sages are clear. It is 95% of the tool that they used in order to manifest clarity about their life. Prayer isn't just about, hey, get me out of this situation that I don't want to be in. That's not the intention. The intention of prayer cannot be to escape pain. The intention of prayer needs to be to get clarity about myself, about the creation, about the Creator, about the rules to the game of life. Because when you have that clarity, that's how you escape pain. When you know the rules to the game of life. This is how you can rise above a painful situation. All pain is there to do is to make us pray. Prayer is so powerful. That's the whole technology of pain. If a person actually utilized prayer and utilized it with the intention of not escaping something, but utilized it in order to gain a connection of clarity about what to change, about who to become, about the path to take, and did it all for the sake of the light of the Creator, no pain would ever be needed. Prayer replaces pain. You can pray in any language, at any time, anywhere in the world, under any religion, or no religion at all. All that is required is that you believe that there is a force, an endless force called the light of the Creator that wants to be revealed. That's all you need to have. And guess what? Even if you didn't believe in the Creator, you can pray and ask to be shown that a Creator exists. So let's say you don't even believe there's a God. You don't believe there's a Creator, there's light. In fact, you're listening to this saying, I don't believe in any of it. No problem. Go for a walk and say out loud to the universe, show me. Show me that a creator exists. Show me. Awaken in my heart. If it does exist, then I know. And why wouldn't you want to do that? Wouldn't you want to know if you were wrong, that you are wrong? We aren't the type that just wants to put our head into the sand and ignore reality. If something is wrong, you want to know about it. If someone had cancer in their body, would they not want to know about it? What's the point of ignoring it? And so everything can be revealed through the power of our voice, through the power of speaking out loud to the Creator. Especially when it includes the intention of wanting to bind our soul to the light of the Creator. Clarity is seconds away for each one of us at any moment, anywhere in the world. There is nothing holding us back from clarity at any moment. There is nothing holding us back from achieving anything and everything at any moment. And it's that consciousness alone that also empowers the prayer that makes it more powerful. It says that there are many things you can add to the power of prayer to make it even more powerful. So the simple act of doing it, yes, this will work. This will create the vessel for miracles. But how do we add something to the prayer to make it even more miraculous? Well, Number one, the Zohar teaches that there's three types of prayer. It says that there is the prayer of King David, there's the prayer of Moses, and there's the prayer of the poor. And the sages explain what this means. It's a code. And it says of the three types of prayers, the prayer of King David represents the vessel of a person who is in a very high standing in this world. So anyone in this world who is responsible for people under them, responsible for some kind of energy under them, it can be the head of a household, it can be the head of a country, it can be the head of a company, it can be a manager that has 100 or 1000 people under them. As soon as you become responsible for something, energetically, you have a special access via prayer. This is called the prayer of the king or the prayer of King David, meaning that the king of a country, if they were to pray out loud to the universe, their prayers would take precedence over the prayer of anyone else because they have so much energy that they must channel down to other vessels in this world. And so the universe is designed in such a way that their prayer takes the lead. But there's actually a prayer that takes the lead in front of the king. And this is the prayer of Moses, which means and is a metaphor for a person who has consciousness, who. Who has wisdom, who is working on themselves spiritually and is purifying themselves. So by us doing spiritual work, our prayers become more powerful. The gates open up every time we connect to certainty and overcome doubts, every time we decide to choose compassion over being vengeful or manipulative or playing games, trying to get people to like us, trying to get validation. Every time we rise above all of that, we purify a part of our soul. Our words become more powerful. They have a higher vibration. They create vessels for prayer, and prayer becomes more effective. And the prayer of Moses is even higher than the prayer of King David because it involves a spiritual elevation of you. And as a result, there's more light coming to the world because of your elevation. And so the universe prioritizes your prayer. But still, there's a third prayer that is even higher and more prioritized than the prayer of the king and the prayer of the wise. And this is called the prayer of the poor. What is a poor person? Who is a poor person? The Zohar says that a poor person is someone who feels they absolutely have nothing of their own, and they have done everything in their power to try to overcome a negative situation. And there's nothing left to do. And they feel broken. They feel defeated. They feel at the bottom. They feel empty. But they're still happy. They still choose joy. And then they pray. They are praying from the depths of their heart, knowing that there's nothing in their power that will solve the situation. And it is only the light of the Creator that can help. When you have done everything in your power and you feel, as a result, as a poor man, and you also know that it is only the light of the Creator that can help. Only the light of the Creator can truly bring the miracle. And you know it without a shadow of a doubt. And you are not falling into sadness because you are not being answered. You are not falling into sadness because it's not working out, but you still maintain joy. This is the most powerful vessel in the world. Anything you do, anything you say will be heard and will be answered. It is so powerful that the negative side knows how powerful it is. And so what the negative side does is cause us to feel sad when we feel broken. Because the negative side knows, oh, my God, he's broken, she's broken. Anything they say you can manifest into miracles. I better make them sad quickly. And that is why often when people are broken, things shift to sadness right away. And the power to create miracles is lost. No prayer can be answered in a time of sadness. No prayer can be answered if you are sad. Because sadness means I do not agree with creation. It means I don't agree that a Creator exists. It means that I think everything is random. And if you don't think a creator exists, that means that the Creator does not exist for you. So the prayer cannot be answered. Everything is a function of what you believe, what your consciousness is. Have we not already seen it? The most successful people in the world doesn't matter what field they're in. It can be athletics, it can be business, it can be technology, it can be innovation, it can be politics. They walk to a different beat of the drum. They do not care what you think. They don't care about your validation. They don't care about your approval, only to the extent that you will be a customer. But other than that, they don't care about your no, they don't care. In fact, they are emboldened by the fact that you think they can't do things. It simply does not matter what anybody thinks. And so the most successful people in the world are not falling in line with the vibration of everyone else. They simply do not care, nor are they thinking about what anybody thinks. They have a vision, they have a belief system. And even if science itself is saying you can't do it, but they feel they can, they move forward and they manifest it. And we call these the innovators of our time. You will never see a times person of the year or the hundred biggest innovators or disruptors of our time did different magazine articles. You'll never see people who just followed the herd, who just lived their life to try to get everyone to like them and just took in what everyone said and lived their life accordingly. These people have visions. They are granted vision from above. They have certain belief systems that are unlimited. And they are most likely solving a problem that has never been solved. And that's why everyone is naysaying them. Every time we kowtow to someone and try to gain their approval and we try to adopt their consciousness, we are committing spiritual suicide and we are closing up our own vessel to receive miracles. And do you know what happens to someone who commits spiritual suicide? Someone who closes off their vessel, who does not believe in their power, who does not believe in their imagination, who does not believe in their worth, who does not believe in the vision that the Creator gave them. You know what happens to them. Only pain and suffering. Only to break your old mindset and to help you believe in yourself. Every time you have gone through pain in your life, it is only to delete and erase all the limited beliefs and opinions that everyone has put upon you. So you can go back to your natural state of trusting yourself. Think about it. Think about the most painful times in your life. Think about when relationships ended, when death occurred, when money was lost, when humiliation occurred. Who were you a day after, a week after, a year after? We call this maturity. We say we learned so much. What did you learn in the end? You learned how to trust something deep inside yourself. Something that the greatest in the world already figured out years before us. And so this is your power. And this is what Kabbalah is teaching us. The unlimited nature of who we are. Above time, above space, above motion. This entire physical world is an illusion. You can manifest anything and everything and at any moment because time does not matter. You do not have to suffer to be successful. You do not need your parents approval to be successful. You don't even need money to be successful. You don't need to be born rich. You don't need to be born poor. You don't need to have special laws that help you or save you. You could be born in any country in the world, at any time, in any circumstance. And if you feel that calling inside of you, if you feel that authentic calling inside of you, it means that the Creator has blazed a path for you. And the only thing that's going to stop that path from coming to fruition is other people's opinions and projection of their tikkun, their soul's correction upon you through prayer. We should ask the Creator. I want to learn from everyone. I am open to feedback and criticism from everyone. But I hope. Now, hope is not a good word, but I pray and I ask that you always show me how to receive the opinions and feedbacks of others without losing the calling of my soul, without losing the intuition that is deep inside of me. I came to this world to manifest something for you, Creator. And I pray that I never lose sight of that. Make that voice loud. Make it louder than the voice of my parents. Make it louder than the voice of my enemies. Make it louder than the voice of my investors. Make it louder than the voice of my customers. Louder than the voice of the news. Louder than the voice of the social media posts that are always screaming at me. Make it so loud that I know the path to take. And it simplifies this world. It refines it. It puts it through a spiritual filter where all I see, Creator, is what you want me to see and the path that you want me to go on.
